I spent two weeks at this property and I would come back.It was very close to Beaufort yet not to close.The owners house is on the same lot but not a problem.I wanted the feel of some history without the high price.The owners were very considerate and helpful and made me feel welcomed.There is a dock avaliable also.The grocery stores are close along with restaurants.A walk along the waterfront in Beaufort is only ten minutes away,along with the historic district.

Recommended for:Age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We stayed here this past weekend and we had the best time. The house is beautiful and the Heape family is so hospitable! We will definitely be back soon! Thanks to Kathy and Ricky and their entire family for a great, well needed vacation! Please tell Ruth Anna that Sammy already misses her!

USMC Graduation

We stayed here for our son's marine Corps Graduation. The house was very clean. We enjoyed our time at the house. Getting to/from base was easy. The owners were very friendly. Our youngest daughter enjoyed playing with their children. It was like staying at a family members house. Thank you for everything!!

Our party of 5 stayed for 3 nights prior to my son’s graduation from Parris Island. What a wonderful place to stay! Having the family all together, with a little fishing and grilling really made my son’s graduation extra special. Thanks so much to Rick and Kathy for their warm welcome! Highly recommend!

We came to visit relatives in the area. The location was convenient to several area historical sites, parks and beaches. We thoroughly enjoyed the clean and well-decorated home. The views from the dock were peaceful and beautiful. The owners are personable and helpful when needed. Great time in South Carolina.

My husband and I just spent 4 nights at this lovely home. Charming remodeled historic property with all the amenities including wireless internet. The location close to Beaufort and Parris Island makes it a great central point for visiting Charleston, Savannah and Hilton Head. You have access to the dock, for beautiful sunsets and we had a dolphin visit us! The house has lots of lovely decorating touches and the home owners were very helpful. We would definitely recommend to friends and would love to come back. The house is cute, clean and well maintained.....and very affordable.....enjoy!

Spent the 1st week in July at this wonderful location. Can't think of a better vacation I have had. Excellent landlords too..........great people ! My nephew is stationed at Parris Island so we got to spend time with him and his family and watched some AWESOME fireworks on base. Highly recommend this rental property !

Our party of 6 just spent 4 nights at this location and it was just wonderful. The house has all of the amenities along with that rustic southern charm. It is located in a perfect spot near all of the local attractions. The dock is nice for a late evening "sit and talk". The pictures are accurate, the house is great. The landowers are wonderful people and came by to greet us when we arrived and to make sure we had everything we needed. We will stay here again in the future!!!!!

We stayed in this home for my son's USMC graduation. The home and property are beautiful and clean. The owner's hospitatlity was overwhelming. It was like staying with family. My 16 year old has now decided to join the Marines and we wouldn't consider staying anywhere else!

My family stayed here for four nights prior to our son's graduation at Parris Island. We loved the house. It was clean and well decorated Grandparents, parents, children and grandchild under one roof. The experience became so much better because we were together. That wouldn't have been possible in a hotel. The owners were friendly and helpful. I would recommend this house to anyone!

We stayed here for the week prior to our son's graduation from marine boot camp. Very comfy and cozy and CLEAN. We were so much happier here and were very glad to have rented this house instead of hotel rooms. There were five adults in our group. The owners were very friendly and accomodating and made sure we had a copy of the Beaufort Gazette on Thursday with the list of graduates. Highly recommended.

We were in town for our son's USMC graduation and we really enjoyed our stay here. The house is beautifully updated, very nicely decorated and clean! We felt right at home. My family was really happy that I chose this rental home over a hotel room! The owners made us feel welcome and even brought us a copy of the local newspaper with the list of USMC graduates in it, which was really nice. I highly recommend staying at this property. My only regret is that I didn't rent it for the whole week. I wasn't ready to leave yet! :)
