The Gaslamp Quarter is the most well known area of downtown San Diego and is home to nearly 100 restaurants, coffee houses and nightclubs. Additionally, there are almost 100 unique shops and galleries all in walking distance of the William Penn Suites.
Intertwined with the Downtown landscape are the sprawling 1400 acre Balboa Park with its 15 museums, four theaters and the World Famous San Diego Zoo. Nestled on the bay is Sea Port Village featuring 75 shops, four restaurants and miles of cobblestone pathways around ponds, lakes, fountains and a quarter mile of Boardwalk.
