Carousel Villa offers guests an opportunity to enjoy the real Jamaica, yet still be within minutes of the action. Our 4 bedroom, 4.5 bath villa is fully staffed & situated on the 16th fairway. A 35’ veranda overlooks Runaway Bay’s Championship Golf Course, giving you a manicured view down toward the Sea. Ocean Park Beach is our private-shared beach. This beach is available to Cardiff Hall Villa Owners & their guests. You’ll find a men’s & women’s restroom, snack bar, lounges & shade trees on what many people consider one of the North Shore’s finest natural beaches.
Our staff at Carousel Villa is attentive to your vacation details & we provide them with all your info they need to start your vacation off smooth. Having lived & worked at the Carousel for many years, they’ll be as interactive with you & your family or friends as you want them to be. Once you taste their fantastic Jamaican cooking & get to know their charming personalities, you’ll understand why so many of our guests come back time & time again.
If rest & relaxation are what you’re looking for, you’ve come to the right place. The pool is located in the center of the house giving you the intimacy of having it there 24 hours a day. Take a few steps outside the front door & explore our 1 acre of lush gardens with ferns, orchids, fountains & new surprises at every turn. All of this, in a quiet tropical setting, where you can listen to the breezes blow or jam on your in-house surround-sound stereo.

We've been to Jamaica more than 20 times in the last 25 years, stayed at villas in Montego Bay, Negril, Treasure Beach, Ocho Rios and on and on. This villa is exceptional. The staff is perfect; their answer to all questions is "yes", they give you the privacy you expect, the meals are plentyful and excellent, everything is clean, the views are wonderful there is never any hassel and the set up of rooms and pool is better than the photos depict. I had told my friends here, that I was going to Jamaica to speak directly with God. Little did I know that I would find Angels there as well! I had an incredibly stressful year, last year and this was EXACTLY what I needed. Jennifer and Bill, the Villa is beautiful. Kudos to you for all your hard work and making such a lovely place for others to stay. The Angels, Angela, Ossie and Millie took SUCH good care of us. Milton was a wonderful tour guide. The food was fabulous. I loved that even though we weren't right on the beach, it was so accessible. Eric was our prompt and gracious driver and pointed out the sights or answered any questions we asked, to and from the airport. The drive took my breath away. If your soul needs soothing or you're just looking for a reasonably priced, first class trip, this is THE place to stay. God Bless all of you Angels that made my vacation a little tour to what Heaven must be like!

8 of us went to Carousel Villa last week. It was wonderful. So many of the people were just amazed at how relaxed they were at Carousel Villa. Millie and Ozzie and John and the girls were terrific. The food was amazing. Millie pleased everyone one of us every night. How do you do that? I would recommend going here especially if you have at least one golfer per couple. The pool is lovely, the owners do all they can for you and the price is right. The weather in January was absolutely perfect 79-80. Thanks, Sprauers.

Bill & Jenn We just returned from your villa and my wife and I were not only impressed at the way everything went, but we have adopted Millie, Oswald, and Coco. The villa was everything that you advertised, and then some, ( you just can't put a picture on your website that actually gives the feeling of being there). We hired Eric to give us some tours and he is perfect, not only is he always on time but we got a little inebriated at Margaritaville and when we didn't show up for pick-up he came and found us and carried us home, he cared for us as we did him. I don't know how you put all of this togeather but you have a first class operation, and I hope to be back next year but with a few of my friends. I told Millie I would try anything she served up, and I had akee and salt fish with boiled green bananas, bread fruit, festival, and yam,I loved everything she made me.My wife is a little more triditional,(pancakes and eggs) and that is what we had every morning, unless we wanted something different. I also had the pumpkin soup and it was real good. Hey you also got us hooked on rum cream, infact Patty even liked it and she usually won't even try any new drinks. Thanks once again for sharing your home in Jamaica with us and I hope to do business again soon. Scott & Patty

I spent Labor Day Weekend 2008 there. It was like staying at home with all the amenities and luxuries of a mini paradise. The villa's staff is wonderful, the rooms are clean and spacious. Food was great everyday. I especially enjoyed the veranda for my morning coffee overlooking the golf course and my nights spent in the pool looking up at the stars. I think this villa will appeal to any kind of vacationer. The owners have taken special care to make this a comfortable retreat for all to enjoy.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, people with disabilities, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We just got home the other day after at 8 day stay at the villa. It was wonderful, and the staff there were so kind and sweet that we loved them all. Oswald, Millie, John, Angela, Eric the driver, Blue the security guard................ so cool. The food that Millie cooked was awesome, and Ozzie is amazing. I highly recommend a stay there if you are planning to go to Jamaica. Email me if you want to know the specifics about what we did, horseback riding in the ocean, Mystic Mountain, Dunn's River Falls, Ocho Rios flea market, Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville. We spent 10 days at the Carousel Villa. It was like staying at home with all the amenities available to ensure a very relaxing vacation. The villa staff do a great job cooking us great meals and keeping the villa nice and clean. I especially enjoyed the veranda overlooking the golf course and my nights spent looking up at the stars. The owners have taken special care to make this a comfortable retreat for all to enjoy. Eric the driver with the villa was absolutely wonderful, informative and made our trip so enjoyable with his knowledge of Jamaica. He took us on tours to Dunns River Falls, Bob Marley`s mauseleum, Reggae Sumfest (brilliant) and to visit family in Port Antonio where we got to raft on the Rio Grande. We have plans to return to Jamaica in the very near future. This property is like visiting aunt Millies, you are taken care of like family, the owners have a real gem in this villa. The meals are great and whatever you want. I am making my 2nd trip there and am taking friends this time. We stayed at Carousel in Dec 2007 and fell in love, the owners work very hard to make everything perfect, the food is great any way you want it. We are going back Dec. 2008 but this time we are taking some friends so they too can be pampered. This is a very clean, relaxing place to stay even though it isn't right on the beach the owners provide golf carts to travel to and from the semi private beach, and they offer many options for tours. This is your home for the week, No problem is the reply for anything you may want or need. I hate to give such a good review, because I want to keep this to myself, but that would be selfish.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

About the owner: We are Bill & Jennifer Sprauer. Married since 1995 & currently the owners/managers of Carousel Villa.
Why the Owner Chose Runaway Bay:
Before we ever purchased Carousel Villa we were guests there for our honeymoon in 1995. We fell in love with the house, the staff, the island & the people we met there. As often as we could we came back to vacation at the Carousel with groups as well as just the two of us. We enjoyed the soft sounds of the willows blowing in the breeze... the golfers waving to us as we sat on the veranda... the excellent food prepared by the staff & the overall good vibes we felt inside this guest house.

Runaway Bay is centrally located to many of the hottest Jamaica attractions & excursions so you won't have to spend all day on the road to get out & see the real Jamaica.
