We have just returned from a most enjoyable stay at Ko Olina Beach Villas. Joan and Ron were very welcoming and helpful with anything we might need. The suite is fabulous - even better than described! Being at the end of the building gave us a feeling of complete independence, not surrounded by other suites. The layout of 0712 allows for a great deal of privacy, as the bedrooms are on opposite sides of the main living area. We had two other families staying in the resort at the same time and they were both totally jealous of our digs. The lanais on opposite sides of the building are great. Fantastic views, and they open the place up to make it seem much bigger than it already is. The resort is perfect for families with younger children. The lagoons offer very safe swimming and the snorkelling is OK. Older teenagers might find it a bit boring; there weren't many other teens there during our stay and there is no boogie boarding in the direct vicinity. Our girls had a great day of surfing at Nimitz beach and a trip to Yokohama Beach is a must. All in all, a beautiful spot and one we would recommend to anyone interested in the area.

We had the priviledge of staying in this beautiful condo for 10 days over Thanksgiving week, and we could not have been more pleased with our choice. Our flight into Honolulu was delayed, so we arrived at the condo very late, but Ron was right there waiting for us, warm and welcoming, even though it was close to midnight. (One of the reasons we picked this unit over others was because of the friendly conversation I had with Joan over the phone - once I spoke with her, I didn't want to deal with anybody else). The advantage to arriving so late was that we awoke to a wonderful "surprise" - the awesome views from both sides of this beautiful condo. The Beach Villas property itself is wonderful - amazing landscaping, clean, spacious pools, koi ponds...it really was breathtaking! On the first day, two of my sons, completely independent of the other, just sighed, and said "This place is so nice!" The unit itself is as other reviews have said - perfect, beautiful, clean, first class all the way! Ko Olina is beautiful - no matter where we went on the island, I couldn't wait to get back to Ko Olina. The lagoons were magnificent! After hitting Target and Costco for supplies the first morning, we snorkeled in the lagoon the first afternoon we were there, and saw a sea turtle right away! We walked the path every day that connects the Ko Olina lagoons, and our lagoon was the best - by far the least crowded. There is a great little market right across from the Disney hotel, with almost anything you could need, and they are open until 11:00pm. During the time we were there, we were not able to see the actual sunset from our unit, as it was blocked by the Beach Tower, but we could not have cared less - if we were at the condo at sunset, we went to the lagoon, and stayed until dark, then hit the hot tub, and back to the unit for card games. We loved the table on the lanai - ate every meal there, and played many games on it - it really worked well for us. Joan gave us a late check out time, and we sat at that table until the very last minute! I would love to visit another Hawaiian island, but it would be hard to plan a return trip to Hawaii and not want to stay in this unit. Thank you Joan and Ron!

Second year we have stayed at Joan and Ron's condo. It really has all the amenities you could want in a vacation retreat. Right on the beach. Quiet pool for relaxing. A lot of space for us (3 guys celebrating 2 of our 40th's). It has amazing views from every window. Loved that the window doors on both sides of the main room open to offer an amazing cross breeze to the entire condo. The BOSE stereo was a nice addition this year to plug an iPod right in and play music quick. Loved that we could explore the entire island and come back and just park in the unit's assigned space. Having the washer / dryer helped us keep baggage to a minimum. Also there was a glitch with the disposal but Ron came over same day and had it working again. Such nice people! Can't recommend this condo highly enough.

Joan was great to work with, very helpful - her condo was great - right on the water, the property was very nice - easy to get to from the airport; far enough away from Waikkiki...would defintely recommend the property.

Absolutely loved the condo and resort - it was so peaceful and inviting to come and go from as we explored Oahu. The location was convenient, located about 30 mins west of Honolulu, loved returning every evening to the peaceful Ko Olina Resort Villas. The gated-community of Ko Olina was paradise, and never crowded, even after the Disney Resort next door opened, during our stay. The accomodation is 5-star and immaculate. Furnishings were beautiful and well-appointed, including very comfortable beds with spa-like bathrooms. Great floor plan with the kitchen and living area separating the two master suites. Being able to open the sliding glass walls to the lanais on both sides of the living/kitchen area had to be one of my favorite features. Incredible views from all lanais - from overlooking the pools and lagoons to picture perfect sunsets every evening. The owners, Joan and Ron were the best! Pride of ownership was evident in everything: from the perfect accomodation to the impeccable service. Would not hesitate to stay here again. Mahalo Joan and Ron!

The condo was everything we had hoped for and more. The amenities of both the condo and resort were 5 star. The condo is comfortably furnished and equipped for an extended stay. There is a true "spa" like vibe to the rooms and bathrooms. The beds were extremely comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked enabling us to eat in on several occasions. The whole unit was spotlessly clean and everything in good operating condition. The resort itself was a dream. The pools and lagoon were uncrowded and immaculately clean. There were no loud groups and all the residents/guests were considerate of everyone staying there. The garden areas were beautifully maintained. The location was also superb. A short drive from the airport, Ko Olina is well placed to visit all of Oahu. We made day trips to all corners of the island and were back in time for an afternoon swim and cocktails on the lanai! There is a commercial/retail center located only 5 minutes away that we frequented for groceries and dining. We also used the local market located onsite which had almost everything you could need. Joan and Ron were very helpful in their recommendations for activities and restaurants. We took their advice on a snorkeling cruise from the marina and had a trip highlight-swimming with dolphins, turtles and tropical fish. We would definitely recommend this property to friends and family and it would be the only place we would consider on a return visit to Oahu.

Guest Review - May 21, 2011 We were travelling with another couple and loved having the full two bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. This unit is beautifully finished and furnished. The views are stunning, the pools are immacultate and the grounds are lush. There is a boardwalk along the clean, white sand beaches, perfect for your morning jog or evening stroll. Great golf course right across the road. Shopping is about a 10 - 15 minute drive away. We loved having the full kitchen and enjoyed many meals on the lanai. Since it's a condo unit, there is not much by way of service but the staff are very friendly and polite. Owners were helpful and easy to deal with.

Our vacation, the last two weeks of Apri/2011 was everything and more than we expected. We vacation with another couple, somewhere different every year. We have all fallen in love with Hawaii. When you combine the warmth of the people and the weather, with the beauty of this condo, I can't imagine having anything but a good time. This unit does not disappoint. It is beautifull. Loved the layout, the views, easy parking, security and design. Owners, Joan and Ron were easy and professional in their dealings. The resort has a quiet pool and another more suitable for children. Great idea! 2 hot tubs. Grounds are immaculate and beautifully lush with greenery. Beach is super clean and easily accessed. Great golf across the street. Downside - We had to leave!

We stayed here in January 2011. What a fabulous vacation! The kitchen is a chef's dream. The views are spectacular. The bed as comfortable as our own. And the bath is super! We greatly enjoyed the luxury and the beauty of Ko'Olina. Such a romantic getaway! Our only complaint was that our week went too quickly and we were packing for home far too soon. This a place we could happily live for a month or more and not miss the comforts of 'home sweet home.' Thank you so much for your hospitality!

Just came back from staying at the Ko Olina resort. We stayed there with our two young children. This was our first time in Ko Olina. All I can say is WOW!!! Joan was a great resource person and both the condo and the resort were absolutely amazing. This is a true 5 star holiday - I just hope that it stays this way once the large influx of Disney visitors arrive. We can`t wait to come back and hope to visit again next fall. Thanks Joan!

My family (me, my wife and my two boys - ages 2 and 3) stayed in this condo just a month ago. The condo is really top notch!! The kitchen is fantastic. The entertainment system is great. Bedrooms and bathrooms...awesome. And the condo is very clean and stylishly furnished. But the best thing about this condo is the fact that there are 2 lanai's on opposite ends of the main living area. Having the ability to open up the lanais on both ends just gives this condo a completely unique and open feel to it...especially when the breeze blows through. And speaking of the lanais, we really enjoyed the dining lanai. Having breakfast with my family every morning on the lanai while enjoying the ocean views and morning air is probably the thing that i'll remember most about this trip. Regarding the rest of the property..the pools and lagoons are awesome. My boys really had a blast swimming in both. And the resort wasn't crowded at all when we were there (in fact, it was borderline empty), so it was never a problem finding a pool chair, bbq, or a spot on the beach. Also, if you need to buy anything there is a main city, 5 minutes away with a costco/target/safeway/various restaurants/etc. As far as downsides (for lack a better of word), renters should be aware that the Ocean Tower (where this rental is) is set back from the ocean/lagoon, and that the Beach Tower somewhat obstructs your view of the ocean from both lanais. Unfortunately for us, while we were there, the Beach Tower directly blocked every sunset. Also, from the lanai at the other end of the living area, the direct view (if you look straight out) is of the new disney resort which is under construction (note: we did not hear any construction noise). Having said that, you do have ocean views from all lanais (just realize its views of the ocean and other stuff, includ bldgs). Lastly, there are two huge, brown plots of land in view from each lanai...not sure what is planned there, but if it is any significant type of large scale construction, i think "ocean views" would become a stretch for all condos in the Ocean Tower. But as of last month, it is just empty land and it does not impede any of the ocean views. But all in all, this is a GREAT condo to rent. The view issues mentioned above are just things to be aware of. It did not impact our enjoyment of this condo at all. I would definitely stay here again if we ever come back to ko olina.

Awesome condo... the pictures don't do it justice... The kitchen is truly luxurious and fully stocked with everything you might need so making meals 'in' was an enjoyable experience... Not to mention the dining table on the outside deck where we ate dinners - that made it extra cool... We shopped at a nearby CostCo at the start of our trip to stock up for the week which worked out great... There's even a built in wine refrigerator... Also, opening the sliding windows / doors gave a truly open air experience to the whole space... That was one of our favorite features of the condo. The fitness room is great with a full assortment of cardio machines, dumbbells (up to 75 lbs!) and weight machines if you want to get a workout in... the pools are awesome with a large pool (great for laps) and 3(!) hot tubs and a lounging pool... plenty of outdoor space for relaxing... This property is great for families or friends who are hanging out... It's very quiet and if there's noise (children) it's easy to find quiet space (one of the pools is a 'quiet' pool)... Noise though is minimal - there was some construction next door but its sounds were not invasive and the building looks to be close to completion... Overall, Beach Villas is a very peaceful, well maintained place... The 4 lagoons behind it also give a beach experience right outside your back door... Even though Beach Villas is 18 mi from Honolulu, we found Oahu very drivable (quick trips to Pearl Harbor / North Shore beaches / shopping in Waikiki) with most things being about a 25-35 minute drive.. Staying out in Ko Olina, we were able to 'get away' from the touristy places and relax at the end of the day and in the mornings... Working with Joan Parsons was great - she's very nice and made sure we were happy at arrival... She even accommodated us with extra hours on the last day of our stay since our flights were in the evening... That really made our last day great so we didn't have to store luggage and could use the pools pretty much right up to the time of our departure... I felt that Joan really went the extra mile for us! This was truly a 5 star experience!

We just returned from our vacation -- this condo is absolutely beautiful. The views are spectacular -- everything is new, updated, beautiful cross breaze from the two lanais -- the pools are quiet, clean, the grounds are immaculate. We had a wonderful time. I would HIGHLY recommend this condo to anyone. Dealing with Joan was effortless. She was so nice!!! Would rent this out again in a heartbeat and will tell our friends and family. Thank you for sharing your beautiful condo with us!!

I've stayed in Ko Olina before, but this Villa made it an extra special vacation for my family with 3 kids. If you've never been here, Ko Olina is uniquely beautiful on the more quiet west side of the island - known for the 4 sand/beach lagoons and best sunsets. My 3 kids (ages 4-9) especially enjoyed the meandering lagoon pool (depth 3' - 5') and attached pebble beach toddler/kid pool (depth 1' - 2') everyday. Also, beach lagoon #2 is just outside the property's private gate, and the sun, sand and water are fantastic - kids enjoyed making sand castles and beginner snorkeling, there are some very small fish to see. This villa is beatifully decorated and makes a great first impression - just see the pics. Wireless network was fast and seamless. The compact yet full kitchen (top notch appliances) has everything we needed and we prepared most of our meals here - eating outside on the balcony/lanai which the kids really enjoyed. Poolside bbq's are great. The newer Costco and Target and city of Kapolei are just a few miles away. The fitness center had up to date equipment, was not busy (always <2 other people working out), the treadmills have the little personal tv's on them, had the basic weight machines and some free weights. The whole experience from the convenient parking to the beautiful grounds to the villa spoiled us, we loved it. If Waikiki is too loud and busy for you, you'll like Ko Olina. If the Ko Olina Marriott timeshares are beautiful but too busy for you, you'll love the Villas. We also noticed this Villa is especially nice as it's higher up and the views are terrific and the lanai is on the shade side most of the day so the lanai is a very comfortable place to relax. We've had great and memorable days!
