The perfect spot for a beach vacation!
Charming cottage right on Nantasket Beach. Find the sand down the stairs from your own deck, no street to cross. You can spend your time in beautiful water, kayaking, swimming, fishing, surfing (great surfing location) etc… or you can sunbathe, read and surf the internet on your deck. It is all happening around you: ocean, beach, grilling, restaurants and shopping within 5 minutes walking. Ice-cream, the old-style carousel and the miniature-golf are a pleasant 7 minutes walk on the beach. Spend your day in the quiet of your home, then have a grill at the beach and finally end the day with a walk to your favorite ice-cream place. The beach is 6 miles of beautiful sand, with the Boston lights visible on the north side and the Minot lights on the south; the sand is great for walking and running.
The house is a charming cottage from the early 1900's with a lot of character yet, just recently renovated in its kitchen and bathrooms. The cottage has a large master bedroom on the second floor, with a full bathroom and a sliding door on the deck, viewing the ocean and the lighthouses. The other two bedrooms are also on the second floor and have partial views of the ocean (one has a full bed while the other has a queen bed). On the first floor is a large kitchen with dining area and an entrance from the driveway, half bathroom, and the living room with the exit directly to the beach. In the living room are two large windows with stunning views of the ocean and the beach. The door from the living room opens on a large open porch with a dining and sitting area right on the beach. Because of parking being an issue in Hull, it is important for you to know that the house has at least 3 off street parking spaces. Wi-Fi has a fast and strong signal in the house and on the beach.

What a fabulous vacation we had in this unique little oceanfront home. It is literally on the beach with the backyard being the ocean. We loved sitting on the deck outside enjoying breakfast and watching the joggers on the beach. It's a great location with easy access to all parts of Hull. I would recommend for any family to stay - we had 3 adults and on and off grown children that stopped by for a few nights here and there. I would definitely return - the owner was lovely and very accomodating. Skip the cape - enjoy a really nice, quiet and not overly crowded MA town.

Family of 4 plus pup - we love this spot. The view is fabulous. All of us got up at 5:30 every morning to view the magnificent sunrise. Sleeping to the sound of the surf was most relaxing and therapeutic. This is our third year at this location and we will certainly return. The only improvement I can think of is more sitting room in the living room. We had to purchase a few inexpensive chairs in order to enjoy eachother's company in the living room. My family highly recommends this house - just be ready to sweep several times a day-small price for proximity to the beach!!

The cottage was great. I don't think you could have found a better spot. A great value. I have to agree with the others yards from the beach.Everything is close to walking distance. Nothing like listining to the waves. The owner was quite accommodating and a lovely person. Although the cottage is under renovation it was imaculate. I do have a few suggestions. I do hope the stove gets replaced very small and it was hard to cook on only two of the burners worked. Also it would be nice to see a table and chairs on the deck up stairs. Nothing like having coffee on the deck in the morning from your bedroom. The view is spectacular. The owner should have some plastic serving plates, nothing to put your food on from the grill and maybe add additional counter space or a butcher block cart in the kitchen. With that said and knowing the place is under constrution I would rent this again next summer. "Awsem"

I spent a week in this house with my wife and beagle in mid-July 2011 and it was a really great getaway. The backyard is Nantasket Beach, literally a five-second walk away from the back porch. If you want to get some shade from the hot days, the porch is perfect, and the upper level bedroom has a great balcony as well. We walked nearly everywhere to get food and drinks, and the sunrise view was incredible. The only complaint we had, if you could call it a complaint, was that there were no screens on the windows, which allowed for some bugs to get in (luckily none of them were mosquitoes). But we fully understood that the house was also being partially renovated and it did not really pose a damper on the vacation whatsoever. The owner was extremely generous and kind in her hospitality, and has a great home. The house is much bigger on the inside than it looks from outside, and the sea breeze was a great relief from the hottest days. Highly recommend this house for a simple group of people looking for a beachside vacation.

If you love the beach and the ocean, this is the place. At high tide, the water is only yards off the front deck. This home is in a great location for access to Boston via the ferry, the cape via a short drive, or just feet off the beach. The owner went out of her way to make sure things were ready for our visit and was very accomodating for us. There was plenty of room for my wife, myself, and our two teenage kids. Even with rain the last 3 days of our vacation, we had a great visit. Sitting on the deck during the storms watching the waves roll in was one of the highlights. The home was in the midst of a remodel/update but the owner made sure that everything we needed was available to us. It is not a high end fully loaded mansion on the water, but for a family stay in a beautiful early 1900's beach home, it is a great place to stay and we hope to stay again in the future.

This property was misrepresented! We arrived to a property that had construction debris and trash around the outside of house as well as unfinished construction in the house. We had no sink in the downstairs bath for six days. It never did have a mirror or waste basket. The house had wires hanging out from the walls, electric tape around the light switch outlets instead of switch plates, loose floor boards with nails sticking out,no screens on the windows, splintered wood loose on the porch, railings unsafe, hazardous amounts of dry wood around gasoline in the basement, no curtains on some of the bedroom windows, and unfinished construction throughout the house. A shower was installed in the dirty and cluttered basement, virtually unusable. We had to deal with the interruption of getting a sink installed and curtains put in. Our experience was a nightmare and we had to leave early because it was unsafe and uncomfortable. The owner was in denial as to the condition of the house. I would NOT recommend this rental.
