Fantastic location in the heart of the River Run village - and will be even closer to the ski lifts with the relocation of the River Run Gondola for the '08-'09 ski season! The gondola has been moved on the River Run side of the Snake River, and is now visible from the fire pit in the River Run courtyard! About a 3-minute walk to the Gondola with an easy exit adjacent to our unit. Restaurants and shops are just outside your door, and there is a Starbucks in the building. Park your car once, in the heated indoor garage, and leave it there your entire stay! Or for more variety, make the 20-minute drive to the Breckenridge ski area, or the 5-minute drive to Arapahoe Basin ski area. Free shuttle service is also available to both Breckenridge and A-Basin.
Our unit has a view of the Silver Mill courtyard and overlooks the 3 Silver Mill hot tubs with Aspen trees and flowers all summer long. There's a pool table, wet-bar, TV, sofas, lounge chairs and bar stools in the building's lobby, and a dry sauna just inside from the hot tubs. With your stay, you will also have access to the year-round heated pool and two more hot-tubs (with a view of the ski runs) in the Dakota lodge - a short walk from our unit. The location of our unit is ideal for summer festivals also, especially if you're looking for a quiet escape from the fun going on outside.
Save money by preparing meals in the full kitchen, equipped with all the amenities for cooking and serving your meals. The kitchen is open to the dining area and living room, and makes for great entertaining. Each bedroom has its own TV with DVD/VCR combos. The master suite has its own full bathroom with double vanity sinks and separate water closet. Our unit is clean, cozy and up-to-date with mountain/ski-oriented decor.
Keystone has activities year-round with mountain biking on Dercum Mountain, miles of bike trails, golfing at Keystone's two golf courses, boating on Dillon Lake, hiking, horseback riding, and much more - so enjoy your stay with much better nightly rates during the warmer months also! During winter, be sure to take advantage of the many restaurants in Keystone, including the Ski-Tip Lodge, Keystone Ranch and our favorite, the Alpenglow Stube. The Stube is located adjacent to the Outpost Lodge at the top of Keystone's North Peak, and is the highest full-service restaurant in North America. Two gondola rides get you there to add to the unique experience. It's expensive, but worth it. For more of a family experience, take the same gondola ride to the Outpost Lodge for a highly memorable experience at Der Fondue Chessel, and dine while listening to live Bavarian music. Make your reservations early, as all of these restaurants become booked early.
