Ashtree Cottage, situated in the historic Old Town neighborhood of Harrisonburg, offers comfortable and convenient accommodations for the leisure or business traveler. Built circa 1905, Ashtree Cottage once served as the stable for a large Colonial Revival home.

This newly-remodeled, second-story apartment features a combination of sitting and dining room furnished with family heirlooms and comfortable seating. Additionally, there is a kitchenette with everything needed to enjoy a light meal.

A separate bedroom and bathroom suite offers a quiet retreat where a double-sized cast-iron bed and plenty of storage round out the amenities. The living room can sleep up to two children in sleeping bags on the carpeted floor.

Private, adjacent parking provides space for two cars.

  • This is a great little place in a pleasant, quiet, older neighborhood. Within walking distance of the JMU campus, the Farmer's Market, and some great restaurants in the Old Town area. We always look forward to staying there when we're in town.
