Get your family and friends together and get ready to have an unforgettable time in the mountains at "THE HURRICANE SHELTER".
This amazing, oversized, log cabin was built in 2006 as our personal vacation home (and our mountain escape from Hurricanes...we live in Miami), so we spared no detail.
The property is located in a private, FAMILY ORIENTED, upscale, gated community, called Bear Creek. There is a clubhouse and a pool directly behind the house, plus a basketball court, chapel, gazebo(s), children's playground, pond and creek.
The Master bedroom is located on the first floor and has a king size bed, plasma TV with satellite connection. The master bathroom has a stand-up shower and jacuzzi garden tub, dual sink vanity and oversized walk-in closet.
The upstairs has 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The 1st bedroom has one (1) full size bed and two (2) twin size bed with an oversized walk-in closet. The 2nd bedroom has one (1) queen size bed and a walk-in closet. The 3rd bedroom has two (2) twin size beds. The upstairs bathroom has a standard size tub.
This house has everything you need to vacation. All you need to bring is your clothes, toothbrush and stop at the food store on your way in. We provide all the linens, towels, pots/pans, bake ware, dishes, glassware, silverware, and cooking utensils.
The house also has a washer/dryer and a stainless steel grill on the wrap-around porch. Please note...we are not responsible for the propane gas that operates the bbq grill.
We know that you, your family and friends will love it so much you will come back again and again.

HOLIDAY* RATES ARE $250.00 PER NIGHT (minimum 3 nights) and $1,450.00 PER WEEK

Departure cleaning fee: $75.00
Security Deposit: anywhere between $200.00 to $400.00 (depends length of stay)

Why the Owner Chose Sparta
We were invited to visit our friends vacation home in Sparta for Memorial Weekend 2006. We both fell in love with the area, the people and the amazing scenery. The developer of Bear Creek took us to the development (before there was anything there) and we signed a Contract that weekend.
The Unique Benefits of this Cabin
We both LOVE the peace and quiet. My husband loves the Golf. I love the Antique Shopping. My son loves the freedom we can allow him to have when we are there. He especially loves the deer that feed in our front/back yard. He loves all the cows and horses and has actually named it "THE COW HOUSE". He asks us at least once a week if we can go to "THE COW HOUSE".
