We stayed at Hale Ohana for two weeks in August. We knew we were in the right place the moment we walked in the door! It just felt like home. Our two daughters loved roaming the backyard, picking ripe fruit and being able to walk every morning to the beach. They soooo loved seeing the turtles! The home had everything we could possible need from beach towels, boogie boards, snorkel gear and beach chairs. The lay out of the home allowed a nice breeze to flow through out every room. We have been to Kauai many times and we all agree that we when we come back, we hope to stay at Hale Ohana again. Thank you, Lynelle, for all you help and input!

You could want for nothing more. The house is completely stocked with everything you need. Beach gear, appliances, fans, towels, grills, etc. There were 9 of us and it was plenty of room for all! The day of arrival, there was a fresh bird of paradise arrangement on the kitchen table. Definitely would return to this lovely home for a future visit.

I traveled to Kauai for my friends' beautiful wedding in Kapa'a! She referred me to Hale Ohana and I couldn't be happier!! We had chosen Hale Ohana because we intended on having more people stay with us but it was just a friend and I and it worked out just fine!! We were able to host a small ice-breaker for the family the night before the wedding. Hale Ohana had everything we needed for the occasion. We just made a trip to Costco and Big Save for food but Hale Ohana provided everything else! One of our friends have two small children and there was plenty of room for them to move around and enjoy themselves as well! The neighborhood was great!! I went on a few walks to the beach and loved how close everything was. Google Maps doesn't do the close distance any justice! Kauai has turned into my favorite island and Hale Ohana played a huge part in that!! I don't think I'll be staying in hotels at Kauai in the future and I'm pretty sure Hale Ohana will have some new guests soon!! Staying at Hale Ohana was just a great experience!! Mahalo for all the Aloha we felt while we were there and still feel now that we're back home. Hale Ohana is now a home away from home for me! Thanks for everything and I'll see you soon Kauai!

My wife and I are Oahu residents, and we wanted to give my brother's family visiting from the mainland an "authentic" residential experience of Hawaii on our big family trip to Kauai. After searching over the Internet for hours through the many hotel and townhouse options, we finally stumbled upon this beautiful house on a great, quiet street in scenic Po'ipu. We couldn't have been happier. The house is spacious, light and breezy, and fully stocked with everything a family of 8 needs for a comfortable vacation on Kauai. We have always been hotel travelers and have never rented a house, but after our experience at Hale Ohana we will probably never stay in a hotel again on our trips to the neighbor islands. The house is very well equipped and maintained, and the management is extremely friendly and helpful and always on hand to ensure that tenants have the best experience possible on Kauai. The avocado tree in the backyard, which yielded several evenings worth of guacamole, was an added bonus, not to mention the backyard view of the Milky Way and shooting stars overhead in the late evening.

My family stayed at Hale Ohana for one week in May. It was the perfect location for our celebrations. My daughter was being married and we were celebrating a milestone anniversary. Hale Ohana was very well outfitted with all the toys and necessities, including a generous supply of towels and a washer and dryer. The garage was an added bonus. We hosted a couple of meals and a party for about 20 guests and there was plenty of room. The house is clean and cool with great shutter windows so you can open up to the tropical breezes. It has both a comfortable living room and family room. The yard was amazing. So much space. And a great avocado tree. The location was convenient. It is located off the main highway but far enough away that we felt comfortably sheltered. The kids walked to and from Poipu Beach and were very happy. I can't say enough about the Aloha spirit we encountered, everyone was so kind and funloving. For those of you who have been to Kauai you already know about the chickens. For those who haven't, roll with it... they're everywhere. We can't wait to return and highly recommend this property if you want a quiet, laid back home base.
