The view from Cypress Cove is one of the most charming on this beautiful coastline - a picture postcard view of the picturesque village of Mendocino. This classic view, painted time and again by watercolorists, is available live, renewed with each crashing wave. There's peace and tranquility. There are birds, deer and other wild critters. There are scenic views, country walks along the bluffs or through the forests. There are passing whales, playful and curious seals... and, yes, awesome sunsets!
Almost directly across the bay from the lovely and quaint village of Mendocino, Cypress Cove is located just a mile south of town. Cypress Cove is set on the oceanfront bluff on Chapman Point, a natural curve of land that reaches out into the Pacific, twin to the Mendocino Headlands.
Our private retreat is composed of two luxurious and cozy suites: each accommodating two persons and set on the edge of the bluff above the sometimes calm, sometimes raging surf rolling in to Mendocino Bay from the Pacific.
