It is encircled by National Forest and Wilderness areas and boasts recreation opportunities year round. Just a few steps from the front door, one has access to 200+ miles of maintained hiking and snowmobiling trails, winding amidst acres of forest and hidden glacier lakes.
Only 10 minutes away by car, snow seekers will be delighted to find Willamette Pass Ski resort for downhill and cross-country skiing, snowboarding, and tubing in winter, and gondola rides and mountain biking in the summer. A snowmobile park lies right in the middle of the town of Crescent Lake, next door to the small airplane landing strip.
At 5100 feet, the cabin sits in a prime location above and between Crescent Lake and Odell Lake, each renowned for their fishing, and each only miles away. World-class fishermen return every year to reap the bounty of Kokanee, Mackinaw, German Browns and Rainbows. Year round fishing guides are available at the lake lodges, as well as gear and boat rentals. There are boat launches at each lake, and room enough for those who like to ski, fish and swim alike. Some might prefer to picnic on the sandy beaches of Crescent Lake, while others enjoy the rocky ledges of Lake Odell. For those who prefer a different kind of distraction, Bend and Sunriver, legendary for their golfing, shopping and dining, are just a short 45 minute drive away.
With its lofty log-accented great room featuring re-claimed barn wood, gas fireplace with a stone surround, floor to ceiling windows with tasteful wooden blinds, French doors opening to the wrap-around deck with views of mountains and lake. The kitchen, with unique copper counters atop plenty of cabinets and a built-in antique baking center, is fully appointed with a pantry, dishwasher, range, refrigerator and microwave. The downstairs bathroom and two cozy bedrooms, as well as the upstairs master suite with full bath and loft, feature vintage log-cabin décor tastefully designed by a decorator. Other amenities include a washer and dryer, electric wall heaters in every room, wood flooring, and unique lighting fixtures.

I just wanted to thank you for allowing us to stay in your house over this past weekend. We really enjoyed our time up at the mountain, and skiing again at Willamette Pass sure brought back memories from my childhood. We will hope to rent the house again this summer and test out the waters at Crescent Lake! ...the log furniture in the house is great! The kids really loved the bunk bed! Wherever did you find it? Decorations were great. My personal favorite was the "deer head" over the fireplace. Classic! Thanks again! We had a great time!
