  This condo was amazing. We were expecting a nice place with a decent view....we were amazed at how nice the condo was and how great the views were. We stayed 2 nights prior to a cruise. The free trolley is just down the street - quick walk. We took the trolley to get groceries and to sightsee the forts. Carlos couldn't have been nicer and was very easy to deal with (even with my many questions). I would recommend this place and we are discussing our next trip to Puerto Rico to stay again!

  This was my first time using HomeAway.com, so I was definitely nervous about the process. Fortunately, Carlos was easy to work with and extremely professional. He provided me with a list of references, and everyone who responded to me (more than a dozen) was overwhelmingly positive in their review of the condo. I spent four days in Puerto Rico with four of my friends, and our experience was fantastic too. The condo is in a great location, within walking distance to Old San Juan. We were able to cook for ourselves when we wanted to, and walk to restaurants when we didn’t. There are bars and casinos nearby as well. The condo had plenty of room for all five of us, and a nice pool too. It was definitely better (and cheaper) than staying in a hotel. Thank you for everything, Carlos!

  I stayed at this condo from December 27th through January 3rd, to attend a wedding at El Viejo San Juan on New Years Eve. It was six of us. This condo could have not been better. The place was beautifull clean and the location was fantastic. We were able to walk to El viejo San Juan. The complex have a small restaurant(bistro style) called MELAO. They had great food. The owner Carlos was very acommodating. We had some delay obtaining our car from the rental company and he was nice enough to meet us at the rental company to give us the keys. I trully enjoy this place, and will definetly stay here again

  We stayed for two nights prior to our cruise. Carlos keeps a very clean condo, and was very helpful making the arrangements. During our visit we walked around Old SanJuan, and had lunch at Barrachinos (home of the original Pina' Colada). One balcony has a view of a fort, and the other has a view of the ships. There is plenty of room. It was nice to be able to do some laundry and cook meals too. If I ever get back to San Juan I will definately try to book here again. Thanks for everything Carlos

  We stayed the whole month of February in this large modern condo unit. The host and owner of the unit, Carlos, could hardly have been more friendly, helpful, and generous from start to finish.His efforts added greatly to the pleasure of the rental. The unit itself is clean, modern, roomy and well outfitted. The kitchen is especially well equipped and linens come with the rental. The condo complex has an excellent large pool, good views, and a well equipped exercise area (on top of supplied parking) that includes a gym, tennis courts, and running track. The location is at the edge of Old San Juan on San Juan Bay, two blocks from Tourist Boat Dock 4 and the same distance from the main tram terminal. From this terminal, excellent free trams wind through close-by Old Town San Juan during the day and, in addition, pay buses leave here at all times to many convenient routes through greater San Juan. Old San Juan is beautiful and chuck full of excellent restaurants and tourist sites. The condo location is two blocks from the beginning of the most of lively parts of San Juan. (The last block in walking to the condo is a bit of a No-Man's land with rough sidewalks along a parking, then vacant, lot behind the PR Department of Housing.) Our month's visit was full every day with the pleasures of San Juan and the Puerto Rican jungle and beaches. The weather was perfect. We had a wonderful time.

  I visit Puerto Rico 2 times a year and have stayed in almost every 5 star hotel on the island. But with a 5 year old and a 2 year old it was a little difficult for the one room scene. I was a little nervous renting a condo for the first time. But it made a lot of sense with a family of 4. And having the washer and dryer in the same apartment along with a full eat in kitchen was a blessing. These past 2 weeks was probably one of my best stays in Puerto Rico. And the condo made our stay feel even more relaxing. I loved Carlos's condo, it is excactly like the pictures posted. Very clean, very spacious, very local to every tourist attraction available on the island. What more can I say except that I loved it. See you next year.

  We went to a wedding in Puerto Rico, and this place was perfect. The owner was great and helped us with everything we needed, including picking us up at the airport. The condo itself is very large and actually does fit 8 people pretty well. It was very clean and neat, well stocked with towels (like 20!) and it had a working washer/dryer for us to use. Every room, including the living room has an air-conditioning unit, since we arrived in the summer, this was awesome. There was also wireless internet for us to use for free. The place is located pretty close to a lot of things in old san juan, and our group mostly got around walking. So if you plan on just visiting places in old san juan, you can probably get around without a car, and if you do need to go far, they have a ton of taxis that seat 6-7 people that you can call to take you where you need to go. We had one issue with taxi drivers not knowing the address yet (because the place is relatively new), but if you describe the place as the large yellow condo building near the cruise ships, they seem to know what you're talking about.

  Firstly, before referring to this rental, I just want to mention that Old San Juan specifically, and Puerto Rico in general is a perfect destination spot in the Caribbean. The people, food, culture, music and physical beauty is unsurpassed in all of the Caribbean Islands. The apartment was exactly as advertised. We entered a well appointed, clean and modern apartment, after parking our rental car in the reserved indoor space, to a room surrounded by glass, terraces and bathed in sunlight with views of San Juan Harbor and the city. The dinning area had a table and chairs large enough to accommodate myself, my wife, my son with wife and his daughter and my daughter comfortably. The living room had comfortable couch and chair seating and a wall unit with a lovely sound system and cable TV. The kitchen was modern and fully equipped with an ice and cold water dispensing large refrigerator, dish washer, large sink, oven, stove, toaster, microwave, etc. There was a breakfast nook with table and chairs and an overhead fan. All the rooms were equipped with overhead fans that kept the delightful tropical air breezes moving throughout the apartment day and night. The master bedroom had its own bathroom with a Jacuzzi and large walk in closets and the other two bedrooms shared a full bath closely situated in the hall. The lighting throughout the apartment was delightful and pleasant, with dimmers installed. The laundry room was equipped with a washer, dryer, ironing board and an abundance of towels and detergents for all your needs. We had a most delightful stay in this apartment which was located so that we were able to walk out into the center of Old San Juan for shopping, dinning and dancing or drive to explore the island or to the west coast of the island for a day trip for surfing. The owner remained fully accessible to our needs by cell phone and we felt so much at home. We recommend this residence enthusiastically and personally look forward to our return to what has become our San Juan home. Carl B. New York City

  This was truely a fabulous apartment which made our two week holiday that extra special. The apartment was just as described. The attention to detail was excellent, to the extent that carlos provided basic provisions(bread/milk/cheese etc) for our arrival/first day. Carlos was friendly and nothing was to much trouble. The apartment was very well maintained and clean. To see the beautiful area of Old San Juan and require accomodation at a 5 star standard then look no further this is all as described and more. I would recommend this apartment to anybody. All the best carlos and thank you so very much, Claire and Family.
