Fully booked for this summer until the last week of August. We will accept a weekend or midweek rental for that August into September week (You do not have to rent for the full week.) Large lakefront home with two master bedrooms (1 with A/C)! Pool table, six- person outdoor hot tub, two boats (rowboat for six and a pedal boat), horseshoes, and a full-size bocce ball court are just some of the amenities this lovely home has to offer. Next door to our other lakefront property VRBO #19519 and around the corner from lakefront VRBO #17854, so we can accommodate larger family groups or reunions - up to 34 people! Large kitchen with plenty of cabinets and a full size pantry for all your goods. There is also an extra refrigerator in the attached garage that can hold your sodas, beer, etc. so you don't have to use up all your kitchen refrigerator space!
Very close to Big Boulder/Jack Frost ski areas (10 miles away on high speed Route 80). Also only 30 minutes to the Mohegan Sun Casino complex at Pocono Downs! Perfect for fall foliage, golfing, or white water rafting vacations. Close to Paintball, Jim Thorpe, and outlet shopping areas. Sorry, no young party groups, and no proms unless Mom & Dad are willing to sign the lease.
Very large, open yard overlooking the lake, with a full size bocce ball court (all supplies at house), horseshoes, and firepit. The hot tub is located on the downstairs patio and is fully covered so you can use it regardless of the weather. Our hot tubs are always clean and operating, too.
The 2 master bedrooms (located on either side of the central kitchen and living room) both are very large and each has its own sliding glass door to the deck, so this is a perfect house for 2 families sharing a vacation---each couple can have their own master bedroom overlooking the lake, and the kids can hang out downstairs. Also a good set up for families bringing grandparents.
Another family bonus---we allow pets! Some of our biggest repeat tenants are those groups with swimming dogs! Give your pet a vacation, too!
There is an approximately 8'x12'enclosed deck area off the kitchen. This is a great location for your morning coffee or for playing cards (there is a round 4 person table there just waiting for you to deal).
If you go to the shore and it rains, you usually can only watch TV at your rental property. Here, you can shoot pool (and our pool table is in a large open area, not squished in some small corner like other houses), go in the hot tub, play cards on the enclosed deck, or maybe watch TV anyway. We have 2 TVs and VCR/DVD/CD players, and the house has approximately 30-40 VCR tapes. There are propane burning firplaces in both the living room and rec room, so you have the romance and heat of a fireplace without the lugging or chopping of wood. However, if you are into that, you can build a fire out back in the pit, something not permitted in many Poconos areas.
During our highest season in the summer (starting about the 2nd week of June until Labor Day Weekend), we only rent by the week (Friday 3PM to Friday 12 Noon). Labor Day Weekend begins the return to weekend and mid-week rentals. Winter (2nd week of December to 1st week of March) is also high season prices, but there is no full week rental rule, we rent weekends, mid-weeks, whatever. Sometimes the beginning and end of high season is not so set (especially in winter, based on skiiing weather), so don't be afraid to call or email to see if you can get off season prices for borderline dates.
