This is one of the finest homes in the village and sure to make your stay comfortable and one to remember. The yard is in constant bloom with lovely flowers surrounding the home. The yard was recently given an award by the Elk Rapids Garden Club. Elk Rapids is one of the most quaint small villages on the shores of Lake Michigan. For boaters the Edward Grace Marina provides public access to Lake Michigan and the Elk River Marina provides public access to The Chain of Lakes.

Why the Owner Chose Elk Rapids
This home has been my residence since I was a young child. It has been remodeled extensively. Renters find it very charming and comfortable with many family pictures and antiques as well as traditional furnishings. The home is very large but very homey and a wonderful place to sit back and relax and enjoy all this beautiful area and home have to offer. Many renters have commented they never want to leave the kitchen which has a large sitting area at one end, a huge island and a dining table at the opposite end. It is certainly a favorite gathering place for my friends when I am home. A recent New Years Eve party found over 40 people who never left the kitchen. Should you go upstairs, you will not only find four bedrooms but a lovely sitting area with computer desk and a nice quiet spot to escape from the crowd. There is a sofa sleeper in this area plus two wing chairs which are all very comfortable. My grandchildren love this room as they can watch their own TV stations without being told to tune it down.
