We speak from years of experience, renting from coast to coast since B4I (before Internet). You won't find a prettier spot or nicer folks from whom to rent. We could have pitched a tent and been perfectly satisfied given the views and beauty of the property. This welcoming cabin adds the dimension of comfort that makes for the perfect R & R. The hosts are exceptional and could write the book on how to ensure that guests enjoy their stay. Creature comforts, bedding and linen, and attention to detail are of uncommon quality. Although difficult to leave the cabin, when we did, we found ourselves an easy 30 minutes or less to all the mountain activites - from in-town shopping and eats to isolated hiking trails. We had a great vacation and formed wonderful memories of our time in the Smokies thanks in great part to Elk Ridge Cabin.

My wife and I just returned from a wonderful, restful stay at Elk Ridge Cabin. The cabin exceeded our expectations. Dave and Debbie's care and hard work can be seen everywhere in the well furnished, comfortable cabin which was secluded enough for our honeymoon, but also close to places like the Biltmore, Historic Waynesville, and the Blue Ridge Parkway. We highly recommend this cabin. It is very unlikely that you will be disappointed with your stay.

What a wonderful cabin!! What a magnificient view!!! The description, while well written, simply cannot completely convey the wonderful vacation in store for anyone staying at this property. It exceeded my family's expectations in every way. The owners are lovely hosts that have become new friends by the end of your trip! The peace and tranquility of this very special place cannot adequately even be expressed by mere words; you must simply experience it for yourselves. Sufficient it to say, we are already making plans to return in 2011; not for just one week, but for TWO WEEKS this time.

It is obvious that a lot of your personalities went into landscaping, and decorating, and selecting appliances, and art. This comes through in the soulfulness of the atmosphere- not just a place to sleep. Host and hostess are warm, friendly and helpful. Delightful week! Best Vacation in a long time!!!

Debbie & Dave went out of their way to ensure that we had everything we needed. The view of the mountains and valley is spectacular (even better in person than what photos can portray), and the multi-level deck is awesome. Although the cabin is within close proximity to many local attractions, it is private and peaceful. We highly recommend Elk Ridge Cabin to anyone looking to get away for some rest and relaxation in the mountains.

To our delight, Elk Ridge Cabin highly exceeded our expectations. The cozy atmosphere of the cabin made for an outstanding Christmas vacation. The owners of this cabin truly go above and beyond to make a person's stay a great memorable experience. Complimentary tolietries were provided just in case anyone may have forgotten anything and the cabin was stocked with anything a person may need, from a hair dryer to Reynold's tin foil. The mountain views from the comfortable porch swing are breathtaking and exactly as shown on the website. The wonderful qualities of this cabin are far too many list-- a visit to this place is definately a must!

We recently stayed at Elk Ridge Cabin. (October 10,11, 2008). The cabin was awesome. The owners were delightful. They made sure we were well taken care of. The cabin is very well stocked....from cooking utensils to linens anything you would need. Loved how cabin is decorated. Views were great from both porches. We recommend it highly! Not only the cabin, but the owners as well! And it is only 11 miles out to Cataloochee Valley which was awesome.

We recently stayed at Elk Ridge Cabin. (August 12-17, 2008). The cabin was awesome. The owners were delightful. They made every effort to make sure we were well taken care of. We 'were' without a doubt. The cabin is very well stocked....from cooking utensils to linens to cleaning supplies, etc, etc. We recommend it highly! Not just the cabin, but the owners as well! They even set up a tent, thinking my husband was riding his motorcycle, and had a piece of wood for the kickstand. Now, that is going out of one's way. We really appreciate that and all you did....Thanks so much.

We stayed at the Elk Ridge Cabin from July 5th thru 12th of this year (2008), along with my brother and his wife. All 4 of us absolutely loved it! The owners were so nice to us and did everything possible to make sure that we were comfortable. The cabin is extremely well equipped down to the smallest details and is beautifully furnished (much of which is brand new). And the view is AWESOME from both the front porch and the new side deck!! We are looking forward to many return visits.
