Comfortable, authentic 1920s Santa Fe Pueblo-style casa lovingly restored and renovated with all the modern conveniences including free comcast high speed internet with wireless and satellite television with 9 HBO Channels. View sun and moonsets and watch the neighbors passing by from the bench on the portal while sipping wine or cook on the gas grill and dine al fresco at the wrought iron picnic table in the elevated fenced garden.
Beautifully decorated with Mission-style wood furniture, fine lace curtains, punched tin light fixtures, and original Southwestern fine art chosen by the owner, a nationally renowned artist, author, and curator. The homey living room with its original brass and glass chandelier, has a dark green double size convertible couch and a Southwest-style loveseat with a large television tucked away in a carved trastero. A swinging door enters into a sunny dining room that seats six off of a fully-equipped kitchen with bright Talavera tile counters. The full bath has fresh colorful Mexican tiles and thick fluffy towels. Sun streams through fine lace curtains throughout accented with swatches of delicate sage fabric. Oak floors, plastered walls, original brass doorknobs, and mahogany wood trim add authentic charm. Front bedroom has a romantic kiva fireplace. Back bedroom has an iron four poster bed draped with lace and a view of the Sangre de Cristos Mountains until the trees leaf out in summer. Fine 300 count Italian linens, down blankets covered with fresh white Matelasse bedspreads with pillow shams with handmade quilts on comfortable queen size beds make for a good night's sleep. Regular linens and cotton thermal blankets for the convertible bed. Plenty of pillows for all three beds. A full service of pretty sage colored stoneware dishes adds a homey touch in the kitchen and dining room.
Pets are allowed with a cleaning surcharge of $50/each and a pet damage deposit of $100/pet (remitted in a separate check).

Guests who rent both Casa and Casita can visit between the two homes with the kids away from the street.
