Alii Tropical Hideaway features the beautiful 'Coconut Cottage' and the quaint guest cottage, 'Plumeria Cottage'. They are unlike any other rentals in all of Kailua Kona. This is a slice of paradise, a sanctuary where time stands still and you are transported back to old Hawaii!
The main house (Coconut Cottage) is a vintage Hawaiian style house that was designed and built by the famous architect Vladimir Ossipoff in 1959. With an open design, and large covered lanai (patio), it is perfect for enjoying your morning cup of Kona coffee while reading a book or the local newspaper. The sunny lanai has two daybeds and many comfortable furnishings for lounging and relaxing, as well as a teak dining table and chairs that will easily seat six. We are right on Alii Drive, two minutes from Magic Sands Beach, and Kahalu'lu snorkeling beach. Both these beaches are within walking distance. Wake up to the sound of the local birds and fall asleep to the sounds of crashing waves. It doesn't get better than this!
