My family rented this condo the week of our daughter's wedding in Atlanta (first week of April 2012). We were very pleased by how convenient the location is: within quick walking distance to many restaurants and bars, to Piedmont Park (with playground, botanical gardens, beautiful scenery, and great people-watching), and to major hotels where other out-of-town family members were staying. It is also convenient to I-75/I-85, shopping, and attractions such as Atlanta's Fox Theate, Coca-Cola museum, Georgia Aquarium, and Centennial Olympic Park, The condo was very clean and comfortable and had been recently renovated, most notably the kitchen and master bath. My husband, who handled the rental details, said that the owner was very easy to work with - pleasant, responsive and efficient. She not only returned our damage deposit almost immediately (paypal), she also found and mailed back to me some personal items I had left before I had a chance to inquire about them. Condo has secure off-street parking, great natural light, and despite being in the middle of the city, a neighborhood atmosphere. Overall, we had a great experience.

We had a great time. This was a great place to stay! I was worried after reading the negative review, but there wasn't really anything wrong with this place. The upstairs bedroom was a little stuffy, but nothing an oscillating fan couldn't fix. I would definitely recommend this place.

Two flew in from Denver. Two flew in from Pittsburgh. I drove from Knoxville. We all graduated in 1974 after living together all those college years. We get together every other year. We chose Atllanta this time. What a perfect place to stay! This very cool townhouse is a few blocks from Marta so we were able to get around the city easily. There are restaurants nearby and Piedmont park is right down the street. The townhouse gave us a chance to relax and be ourselves. It was clean and we had everything we needed to cook breakfast and late night snacks. Paige was available to answer questions. We even had fresh flowers! When my husband and I need a getaway to Atlanta we will certainly remember this place to stay!

Everything was perfect, Paige helped deliver everything that was needed, I can go into details- but too many, place was perfect in location, perfect in every facet. location, rooms, living area. I was a bit nervous due to the one rating. Were they staying in the same place? Thank you will stay again!!

We rented this unit from 12/25 through 12/30/11. This unique urban condo has a terrific mid town location; however, it’s current state of disrepair makes it unrentable. For starters, the unit looks nothing like its pictures: in the past it was beautifully appointed and deserving of its rave reviews, but at present it’s a dumping ground for quirky and inappropriate furniture, geriatric appliances, broken TV sets and linens so threadbare and stained that even the Salvation Army would toss them. While many vacation rentals require innovative cooking strategies, this place lacks the most basic items: a can opener, a peeler and teaspoons. There were a myriad of problems -- a broken trip lever in the bathroom that kept the tub from draining, a non-working master bath toilet, burnt out bulbs in inaccessible places -- but the owner and his sister did make an attempt to get the critical items fixed, an especially difficult feat during the Christmas week. Despite their efforts, we spent our vacation waiting for repair people and we had a few tense moments when the owner forgot to leave a credit card number on file for the plumber. We had to chase down his sister to get the bill settled. Although we appreciated the owners’ efforts, the bottom line is that this place should not have been rented in its current condition and certainly NOT at the premium price that we paid. For this reason, we’re going to have to recommend that you pass on this place until it’s fully renovated and properly furnished.
Owner response:I am sorry you felt this way, from the onset; when the light bulb blew out; you called for someone to come and immediately changed it, I arrived to change the bulb. The furniture, Actually it looks better than the pictures. Everything was upgraded. Quirky furniture, I previously moved from london, I like antiques,I did not mind your team re arranging the furniture, I simply ask you be gentle. I assisted in showing your group how to turn on the microwave & connect the inside plate to the track wheels, how to use the cable box, and how to expand the electric oven by clicking the switch next to the knob. turn the toaster oven on, to toast , one click to bake. after we noted it was not working your way, we changed for a toaster. I noted your whole group had the flu, after consulting your group: seems it was something you had prior to arriving. My neighbor is a doctor, I asked if you would like him to come over to see if there was anything he could do, you decline. When the bathroom had a issue i immediately called a plumber, I gave your group the option to have him come immediately or the following day, you choose immediate. I offered a discount due to the inconvienance and you did not think it was nessesary. I understand your group was miserable prior to arriving, I am sorry our immediate attention was unsettling. Cutlery I found what you stated was not there in the drawer next to the forks and knives, I am sorry that this was not what you expected, I was constantly in touch making sure your group was ok, coming over during Christmas to attempt to make you happy, seems the timing of your trip was a culpret. Again I apologize and hope you come again - when everyone feels better. The one is completely underserved especially with groups coming in prior to you and immediately after. I Regards- Patrick - Home owner, who happened to be in town for Christmas with his family, I only wish i could have done more. Hope your group made it back safely.

Ever in Atlanta? Certainly the number 1 place to stay hands down. This awesome 2 bedroom (1 king/1 queen size bed(s)) 2 ½ bath with all amenities is an excellent choice for any traveler to the city. Owner was extremely easy to contact with questions we had about anything prior, during and after visit to Atlanta. Location is right in the heart of downtown just slightly off downtown core with many clubs, shopping, attractions at your doorstep, wow. Condo comes with FREE secure parking, internet and even had 3 beers in fridge when we arrived. This turnkey home away from home is bar none the best choice we have ever made. DO NOT let this place pass you buy. Consider the cost of hotels and cramp rooms when you’re unwinding at the end of the day on the main floor in front of a 60 inch TV on a real leather sofa and chaise of this place and you’ll understand why I am saying this. Excellent location, location location that is extremely quiet at night and secure. We had a great time and will be booking our return trip to Atlanta in 2014 and staying at this beautiful full size home. Thank-you, this place rocks! Trevor Squires - Canada p.s. Bring a GPS to get around, shops, etc. are easy to find, without it, it's a nightmare. Finally, if you are arriving at the international airport, use the subway in the terminal to get your baggage and bare in mind.. even though you might have a car reservation at the airport.. You’ll wait a while to get your car on major holidays (up to 3 hours).

We came to Atlanta for a wedding in Piedmont Park and about 4 days of related activities and sightseeing. The unit was perfect for my wife and I and our adult nephew. Warmly furnished, quiet, safe, convenient parking, great location. Photos do not do it justice. Paige was very accommodating and helpful. We have stayed at many vacation rentals. Highly recommend. One caveat: must be able to climb stairs for bedrooms, but rewarded with excellent privacy. Perfect for two couples.

We stayed in this beautiful Townhouse while visitng our daughter, son-in-law, and our two grandkids. We had an amazing time. the townhouse is absolutely beautiful! It is in a great location as well. We ran every morning through downtown Atlanta. It was close to every attraction that we visited and we loved the fact that we had a great atmosphere to enjoy our family. We will definately stay here when we visit again!!

My husband and I, along with three other family members, needed a place to stay in Atlanta for our son's wedding. Paige was excellent from start to finish--answering questions from transportation issues to an ironing board! She was very prompt and straightforward in all business transactions. The location is wonderful. The easy access to Piedmont Park was very enjoyable for our family and the lovely townhouse was close to all the places we needed to go: Decatur, Emory University, and Buckhead. The Marta station is very close, so we were able to look around the city without driving or parking headaches. However, we did rent a car and the garage set-up was outstanding and very secure. We especially enjoyed the privacy of the three floors--everyone had their own space when they needed it! We can highly recommend this property to visitors to the Atlanta area.

Spent a week in this townhome with my family. The location was great, centrally located, and convenient to all aspects of Atlanta. The townhome had a nice atmosphere and was well maintained. A note about the the bed in the guest bedroom.....it is extremely firm. My parents (who prefer a firm bed) said they could feel the springs in the mattress & felt as though they were sleeping on a wooden board. We ended up purchasing an air mattress to place on top of the bed, as they did not believe a mattress topper would make enough difference to be comfortable. Perhaps the owners could consider a new mattress in the near future. We otherwise had a nice time and Paige was a breeze to work with.

We had a wonderful visit to Atlanta. The main purpose of our trip was to attend a football game between University of Georgia and Boise State University (Go Broncos!!!) at the Georgia Dome. This townhome was an extremely convenient location for us to experience that, and all the attractions near Olympic Park (World of Coke, CNN, Georgia Aquarium) as well as downtown (Dragon Con parade!). Midtown Marta Station is only a few blocks away, as well as the Margaret Mitchell museum and Federal Reserve Bank, and great restaurants are in walking distance (we really liked Einstein's and The Flying Biscuit). We also walked to and enjoyed a show at The Laughing Skull Comedy Club. We enjoyed the close proximity of Piedmont Park, great for early morning strolls and evening activities. The townhome itself is top-notch and well-maintained, and was perfect for me and my husband, and our 2 Florida friends who met up with us there. Separate floors for the guest and master bedrooms provide complete privacy, and the 1st floor living room and kitchen were roomy enough for all 4 of us to enjoy together. The 2 secure parking spaces are a nice addition, as our Florida friends used one space, and our daytime visitors used the other, since street parking is not always available. Having a washer/dryer there was a bonus, allowing us to travel lightly and launder when needed. This was our first time renting from VBRO, and this property will be our first and last choice when we visit Atlanta again, because Paige is such a delight to work with. We had inquired about another property before we found this one, and was not treated with the same respect and hospitality with that owner as we were with Paige. She was happy to answer any and all questions promptly, and we felt as if we were staying in a friend's home, not just a rental property. Everything was exactly as we expected, and we were pleased with all aspects of our stay. Thank you, Paige! We hope to be back again. ; )

We recently (5/11-6/11) spent 10 days at this midtown townhome in Atlanta. We felt it was a little on the expensive side but decided to splurge as a nice hotel with parking and breakfast would cost us almost as much and we would have a lot less space. The townhome is very nice and it's location is just perfect. We were disappointed with some aspects (no clocks in bedrooms, uncomfortable bedding, lack of manual to work the plethora of audio/visual equipment, inability to make ice...), mostly because of the expense of the accommodation. We did have a nice stay and in the end wrote an email to the manager who kindly thanked me for my input and said she would address a number of these issues. I hope she does as it is a good place to stay in midtown. One thing we did miss about not being in a hotel was having a pool as it was very hot during our stay. At the end of the week we discoverd that Piedmont Park has a pool that is open to the public for a small fee during limited hours. It was a great discovery - wish we had discovered it sooner.
Owner response:Lisa: I am sorry the time you spent was not up to the standards I would ask the manager to deliver. Prior to any one coming into the property there is a check list. Included , will be make sure the ice machine button is on, the last guest turned it off because it was overflowing. Bedding is tough, we try to please all and have 2 additional air mattresses. The two beds, one with a hard mattress, one with a soft mattress so we can try and please all. I'll try to find a better solution. We have asked Comcast to send users guides for the remote controls & we have replaced missing clocks in both bedrooms. The town home is 2200 sq feet, it might have too much room for some, as most hotel Rooms are 350 sq feet without much character. Please let us know if your concerns are not covered in my response. I do hope you come again.

The pictures are a terrible comparison to what it actually looks like. I am not sure why the pictures are not accurate. This place is a gorgeous home. The comments are the location, in actuality the interior is spectacular. I will never stay at another place when I come to Atlanta. I hope I did not give the secret away. Well done here. This was a wonderful condo right in the heart of Midtown Atlanta. We were in town for a wedding and wanted something close to the park and this hit the spot! Very spacious and more than enough room to accommodate our group. The owners were very easy to work with and were proactive about making sure we had all we needed for the weekend. I will definitely be using this place next time I come to visit Atlanta!

Was a great place to stay. The layout was nice to be able to spread out and have some privacy from my colleague that I was traveling with. Walked to MARTA (local public train) that was very close and easy to get back and forth to convention center. Owners were wonderful! Will definitely come back next September for the same convention and stay here.
