Fully renovated, winterized cottage on beautiful Crescent Beach, Owls Head, Maine. Swimming possible at all tides, and low tide opens onto a magnificent sandy beach. House has wood floors, plastered walls and ceilings, hot water 2-zone oil heat, cable and hi-speed internet access. Upstairs are 1 spacious bath and 2 bedrooms: one with 2 single beds, and a large master bedroom with balcony and ocean-view; master bedroom has additional single bed. An airy, light-filled, allergy-free cottage. Wrap-around porch with railing, flower gardens, and a short path to the top of stairs taking you down to the shore.
Cottage is 10-12 minute drive from Rockland, home to restaurants, galleries, the Farnsworth Art Museum, ferries to North Haven and Vinalhaven, films and summer music. Knox County Airport has direct daily air service to/from Boston and New York. Public tennis courts within 5 minutes drive. Anchorage available, or fish from the local pier. Your base to explore mid-coast Maine.

About the owner: I'm a professor in Michigan, but native of Maine, with multi-generational family ties to the mid-coast area.
