All the ementities of a home, and privacy too! Sleep with the gentle sounds of the waves. Comfortable patio for afternoon leisure. Awesome grill too. Like having a second home in Maui. :-)
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, girls getaway.

I stayed there two years ago and rented the ground level two bedroom suite. The beach was beautiful, sandy and not too busy and calm waves perfect for relaxing. The suite itself did not allow for ocean view as the privacy bushes are high enough to obstruct the view from the suite. In order to have an ocean view you would have to stay in the second floor front suite. There are suites at the back of the building closest to the road and I would not recommend staying in those suites as you do not get any ocean view and you do get traffic noise. The suites are very comfortable and provide everything one would need on vacation but if you are looking for upscale furnishings this is not the place for you. The price is right, the location is right - again depending on which suite you rent. The grounds are comfortable and private but maybe a little too private as the bushes do block the views for the ground floor tenants. It is gated and the owners were extremely pleasant and accommodating. If you know what to expect, you will not be disappointed. The beach is worth a little sacrifice on the view. We watched whales breaching every day and it is conveniently located to shops and restaurants.
Owner response:Aloha! Since J from Calgary visited us in Maui nearly 3 years ago, all of our suites have been completely remodeled and/or refurbished. Each of the suites is ground floor, and all now have ocean views from their private lanais. More than half of our guests each year are return guests and feel like our special Ohana (family)!
