We just loved this house. We rented it for a week for a family reunion. 9 people aged 21-88. The house is perfect! Fabulous views of the ocean...beautiful gardens...wonderful swimming pool. The photos of the house are truly accurate although the house is even nicer than the photos. So comfortable! The homeowners couldn't be more helpful and couldn't be nicer. They love their home and you can feel it. You want to take care of their home in a special way. The beds and baths are all really comfortable. The kitchen is wonderfully stocked with pots, pans, utensils. The barbecue is top of the line. Everything is top of the line! Loved the wine opener on the wall! Lots of movies to watch from their wonderful collection. Great sound system! The art collection is spectacular. So tasteful! The location is perfect...near to town..yet still gives a feeling of being in the country and a great sense of privacy. I can't wait to come again. It was a perfect vacation.

Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This is a beautiful home in Montecito for a wonderful vacation. The home, gardens and pool are incredible. The bedrooms and bathrooms are very comfortable and the linens and bath towels and pool towels are so comfy and plentiful. The family living areas are wonderful with lovely artwork, books and places for privacy to read or play a game. The family area for watching TV and viewing DVD's is so cozy with many unique DVD's . The kitchen is great, well equipped with all you would need, the grill is convenient and easy to use and we made many memorable meals and then enjoyed them on the front patio overlooking the ocean with the sun going down. The front patio has a retractable awning to put down in the afternoon sun and you can enjoy an evening drink there or in the morning a coffee and crossaint. The beautiful ocean view is overwhelming. The pool is lovely with sun all day from 10am till 5pm and you can have lunch there or relax until cleaning up for dinner. There are many lounge chairs and umbrellas, so you can chose sun or shade. If you want to leave this beautiful home, Santa Barbara is very close. There are shops and restaurants, we loved it (parking is free for 75 minutes). Monticeto is close and has great restaurants, we had some great meals and Summerland Winery is a few minutes from there with wine tasting and a little town with great antique shops. Also, five minutes to the ocean and many beaches, there are play grounds and restaurants on the beach. We went to all the beaches and had so much fun there. The zoo is five minutes away and a little park with a merry-go-round. We took our three year old grandson and he loved it all. Tennis is five minutes away at the Park District, a very minimal fee if the attendant is there, otherwise, free. we used it many times. The guys played golf three times at great courses and didn't drive more then 20 minutes. The grocery, Von's is so close, there is a great bakery, and barber and pharmacy for all your needs in that shopping center. If you want fresh fish, go to the pier, only about 10 minutes from the home. My husband and I would highly endorse this home for a wonderful vacation. All of our family loved it.

Lovely warm and gracious home exactly as described. We rented the house for a family reunion which included four generations and everyone loved the house. The owners have taken great care to provide a comfortable vacation home with quality beds and bedding and a fully equipped gourmet kitchen. The rooms are filled with original artwork, interesting books, and fresh flowers. There was plenty of wood for the grand fireplace in the drawing room. The views from the terrace and the master bedroom and drawing room and dining room are exceptional, especially during sunrise and sunset. The owners provided a list of restaurants and grocery stores as well as local beaches and attractions and they made themselves available when we called with questions. A delightful rental experience. We'd highly recommend this rental.

Our entire family loved their stay in this house. The setting was perfect, the weather was beautiful and the pool was the hub for the afternoons. The terrace area was ideal for talking the day through with a glass of wine to hand, the house was cool and restful in the evenings and well equipped with everything we needed. What bliss not to need air conditioning. We would all highly recommend this home.

Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

We loved our time here in this beautiful home. We spent our days lounging by the pool, enjoying the gardens, the sea breeze and the incredible terrace. We look forward to many more vacations here

This was our first time to rent a home, thus, I was concerned by what could go wrong. Well rest assured, we had a fabulous time, and the home was all we had hoped for and more. Our three grown daughters felt like it was one of our best family vacations. The home is fabulously decorated and the setting was picture perfect, it sits up on the hill in Montecito and look out over the ocean. The location is fabulous, close to the beach and Santa Barbara's city center. The owner was a delight to work with, he gave us tips on restaurants, beaches, golf etc.

Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Outstanding! Can't thank you enough for sharing your home with us. Our 94 year old Father practically lived on the porch, holding court with his family! What a view! Gorgeous Home.

This is a wonderful vacation home with lots of space, a great yard with a pool and garden and a lovely porch with a great view of the ocean. I highly recommend this place.
