We do a lot of vacation cabin rentals and this was our favorite. We have pictures of the river that are worthy of frames. Everything we needed was available, (except pepper) our host was courteous and the history of the cabin very interesting. Proximity to hikes, parks, and ice caves all a plus. we will be back. Mark

Stayed here for 8 days. Truly amazing. This place has a vibe like no other. Brad could not be any more hospitable. If you are looking to get in touch with nature, go ahead and book it now. You won't be disappointed. The hikes were something to behold. We made day trips to Seattle and the San Juan Islands, but in the end, preferred staying right where we were and hiking/cooking out. Brad has made sure everything you could need is available. The trip/accommodations, exceeded our expectations. Can't wait to go back.

Owner response: I just wish all my Guest were like the O'Neals...Hook Em Horns...Go Texas
Of the dozen or more VRBO sites I have visited, this is by far my favorite location. The pictures, although beautiful, cannot convey the depth of splendor that the antique filled cabin holds. It is truly quiet, in a secluded mountain - forest location, and an experience you will not regret. The decks are a perfect place to enjoy the enclosed fire pit, bbq, and an evening watching the constellations shifting overhead. Open a window and let the river sounds lull you to sleep. The "Little Pilchuck" is an incredible and affordable place for a one person, Monday through Friday retreat (see the owner's home site). And, Brad is so kind and hospitable, you'll never want to leave. I discovered this cabin through a newspaper article, have stayed more days than I can now count, and will continue to visit whenever the opportunity arises. Don't miss this amazing location!
