Location is essential when considering a flat for holiday or business trips to London. Walking to all the sites is a real attraction.
This three bedroom flat is located in the most amazing position, right in the heart of Westminster. Immediate to Westminster Abbey, Smith Square, St. John's Concert Hall, the Houses of Parliament, the London Eye...the location is amazing. From the flat, a visitor can walk to Trafalgar Square and the National Gallery in fifteen minutes. Covent Garden and all the theaters are also within a fifteen-minutes walk. Both Westminster Tube Station and St. James' Park Tube Station are nearby. From the flat, one walks up Tufton Street to Westminster Abbey and down Bird Cage Walk or through St. Jame s's Park to Buckingham Palace...all in fifteen minutes of the most amazing sights. Be sure to wander around the beautiful historical properties in Queen Anne's Gate; they are candy to the eyes - very beautiful.
There are markets and small shops, book stores, wine bars, and clothing shops all along Victoria Street all the way to Victoria Station. One morning, I suggest you walk along the Thames to the Tate Gallery (ten minutes away), to see the fabulous modern art collection and the dazzling collection of Turner paintings. I cannot emphasize enough the importance of the location of this accommodation.
