We had a great week at this townhome. It's very clean, and had everything we needed to make our stay on Topsail Island fantastic! We kayaked in the sound which has a little access spot beside the gazebo. We fished, we went to the pool and of course, we went to the beach which is right across the street. We had a great time and hope we can make it down here before next summer! Thanks Nora!!!!

There were 3 Adults and 3 Children (12 y/o Twin Boys and 8 y/o Girl) in our party. The overall vacation was great!. The Condo was a very adequate size in regards to sleeping arrangements. It would have been nicer if there was a TV in the downstairs room which can be a bedroom or extra sitting room. Apparently there were 2 broken TVs in the closet. Upon arrival I was disappointed in the cleanliness of the condo and did call the owner Nora and talked with her in regards to what housekeeping obviously "forgot" to do. My daughter and I cleaned up what we felt was necessary and just made a list for Nora in regards to the rest. Nora was very gracious and extremely apologetic for the cleaning staff. I am sure the Condo will look spic and span from now on. The Children loved making friends and hanging by the little pier and dock to see the catch of the day. The pool was very nice and inviting. Never over crowded. It was a very short walk to the beach. Our children did get lots of mosquito bites in spite of being covered with repellent. Emilee had to go the Children's ED in Jacksonville for an unknown bite on her belly that was obviously infected. The staff in the ED were awesome and Emilee was placed on antibiotics and did very well the rest of the trip. We attempted to go to the Turtle Hospital but the lines were too long and it is only open 2 hours each day. We ate at Breezeway for dinner and it was fabulous! Great views and great seafood! There were brush fires while we were there which was pretty "bad" for a couple of days. We just went a little south for those two days and were able to enjoy the beach despite the debrie from the fire. Overall a nice trip! This property is a good place for a family. It was a bit small for my daughter and her children and then us two adults.....Next trip....Ocean Front!

My husband and our 2 young kids went to this cute townhouse for a long weekend. It was a great size. Very tastefully decorated, yet very comfortable. It was nice to have the extra bedroom for the kids to play in. The condo has been updated, and it was great to be in a corner unit. Very bright and cheery. The kids loved the pool and there was a short walk to the beach. You can see the ocean from the second floor balcony, and the sound view was lovely!
Owner response:Thank you Jennifer. We are so glad that you enjoyed your stay with us. We hope to see you again in the future. Alisa and Nora

Just returned from a one week stay on Topsail Island and can't wait to return! The townhouse was exactly as described. It was bright and cheerful with everything you needed. The location was perfect. Only a few short steps to the community pool and a very short walk to the beautiful uncrowded beach. The views from the townhouse were great. We enjoyed sitting on the front deck looking out at the view of the sound and pier. In the morning we could open the drapes in the master bedroom and enjoy the ocean view from bed. The townhouse has everything you need for a family vacation. Linens, dishes, pots and pans. The only thing we would suggest is possibly adding a few more stations to the cable line-up for the kids to watch in the evening? Otherwise we would highly recommend this property and hope to return again next year. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!

My twin sister found this gem of a townhouse one night while searching the VRBO site! We were blessed by this vacation! The location is perfect! This townhouse, located on the sound, with a fishing pier, was perfect for our kiddos and husbands, who all enjoy fishing! We met an owner of another townhouse in the development, and her granddaughter, who had a crab cage that our kids enjoyed watching and helping to bring up the cage! We were just 2 blocks from the ocean, and we had wonderful ocean views from the townhouse. Crossing the road was not a problem, as this is not a high traffic area! (This was just a short walk that even my 3 yr old did not mind walking!) The beach was not crowded, and the water was warm! We even went sand crabbing with flashlights in the evenings. The beach was very safe! We enjoy relaxing at the beach and the pool with our kiddos when we are on vacation; we cook most of our meals instead of going out to eat. The townhouse was a new rental. It was beautiful, and bright, and sunny! The kitchen was basically equipped; we did need more serving bowls, a cutting board, and a few other utensils. We found those at a store by the Food Lion grocery store, and at the dollar store. The permanent residents of the townhouse community were welcoming and warm and friendly! When we did go out to eat, we really enjoyed a late lunch of fish and chips at Rick's Restaurant and Sports (Steelers) Bar in Snead's Ferry (Huge portions that were very reasonabley priced!), and Dr. Rootbeer's Hall of Foam in Snead's Ferry was a hit with the kids. Also, our seafood meals, followed by mile high coconut cream and chocolate merangue pie, (all home made) at Riverview Cafe in Snead's Ferry was wonderful too! While we were vacationing, Allyssa turned 16! We took a sunset cruise on the Belle of Topsail for her 16th birthday! Fun excursion, friendly, outgoing owners/staff, and great food! Everywhere we went was family-friendly and kid-friendly! This was a plus since our children's ages ranged from 3 to 16! Another great activity was the outdoor movie at Sound Side Park by the swing bridge on Topsail Island. The townhouse is centrally located to all the activities on the island and in Snead's Ferry! There is very little traffic to contend with! We can't wait to vacation here again! The Travis and Hall families

We stayed here in July of 2008. We had a wonderful stay and found the place to be very clean and family friendly. We were able to walk across the street to the beach and enjoyed it very much! We are returning again this year!

It was a great place, centerally located. By mile marker 13 on the island. We were near enough to the Camp Lejeune without being in the congestion of the town. We feel very blessed that we got to stay in such a nice place with my daughter who is a Marine leaving to go to Iraq. I got to cook for her, she loves home cooking and misses it and will even miss it more. The beach is sooooo close and the views are nice and you can hear the waves early in the morning or late at night. Suggestions if you are going to stay; you will need towels if there is more then 2 people and wash cloths if you like useing them. Bring beach chairs or rent some it will make the beach much nicer. You will need a lot of items, from laundry soap, paper towels, soap, and all kinds of stuff for the kitchen. We used the blender to make cup cakes it was fun. The hardest part was getting up early enough on check out to get the sheets done and towels done, but it is worth only paying the $50 cleaning fee. Maybe opt to pay them to do laundry if you don't have time. We are talking about coming back in 2010 when my daughter is back in the states. Thanks for the place to stay.
Owner response:Thanks for the great feedback Barb! It was a pleasure having you stay and hope to see you again next time!!! Btw, you didn't have to wash the sheets, that is included in the cleaning fee. Thanks again :)
