Water sports enthusiasts will adore the convenient access to some of the island’s best windsurfing and kiteboarding, and others will enjoy the simplicity of paddling the kayak around the sound getting to know nature.
The large game room offers a pool table, kitchenette, and TV/DVD/VCR, and nearby are two master bedrooms (2 sets of bunks, 1 king) and an easily accessible full hall bath. Discover the media room with home theater system w/surround sound, or follow the soundfront deck to the steamy hot tub and crystal blue swimming pool with water fall.
Upstairs you’ll find five master suites, four with shaded waterfront decks. The top level has a superior master suite with whirlpool tub. Drink in the endless sound views in the great room in front of the cozy gas fireplace and built-in entertainment center with TV/DVD/VCR & stereo/CD player. The elegant dining area offers nightly sunset dinners, and the large, tiled kitchen is a chef's dream with granite counter tops, breakfast bar with second sink, ice machine, and double dishwashers. In the evenings, take a leisurely stroll down to the waterfront on the community boardwalk located nearby and watch the blue herons & egrets gather along the shoreline, or simply enjoy sunset paddling around the Pamlico.

Thank you for offering up your beautiful soundfront piece of heaven. Our family makes it a yearly tradition to come to the OBX and this was our first time staying at Sounds Terrific! It was fantastic! Beautiful sunsets and luxury at our fingertips! We hope to stay here again! This was the first time here at Sounds Terrific! And what a terrific time we had. Your house is beautiful with a warm family feel. We are looking forward to the next yearsss. When we drove up the driveway and I noticed how nice the landscaping was, I knew then, we were in for a treat! My family and friends were so excited…everyone thought the card and bottle of wine was very thoughtful and a nice touch. Your home “Sounds Terrific” is “beautiful” and just perfect, everyone truly enjoyed themselves. The decorations in the entire house are lovely! You put a great deal of thought and care into every detail, it’s truly appreciated. We had a wonderful view of those who went kayaking and of the deer! I am so happy I chose your home and look forward to returning next yearRecommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers.

Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with our family. This is our 3rd trip to the OBX and one of my favorite places. We had 10 adults and 9 children here this week and it never seemed crowded. About the owner: We are John and Phyllis Walston from Emporia, VA. We are about 3 1/2 hour drive to Sounds Terrific.
Why the Owner Chose Salvo:
We rented a couple of times because our son was into Kiteboarding. It's the worlds best place for this unique sport. Also the most magnificates sunsets and best fishing on the east coast. We fell in love with this location and purchased this sound front home. We have made lots of memories with good friend and family.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
We love to pack up the SUV and take everyone right on the beach. It's fun to drive right beside the ocean.
