The property was absolutely beautiful! The rooms were spacious, modern living area, kitchen had everything we needed (dish washer, coffee maker), bathrooms had plenty of towels, hair dryer, and soap. We had plenty of parking. The only drawback is that it's right next to the train tracks so you will hear the horn at night. However, it's a minor price to pay for such a beautiful place so close to the wine trail. I will certainly be staying again soon.Recommended for: Girls getaway.
Owner response: So glad your weekend stay was a success! Hope to see you come back... maybe in the fall, to appreciate the seasons fully. :) Rich and Eileen.

My girlfriends and I stayed for a weekend and could not have been happier. The ambiance was great! The perfect setting for a relaxing girls weekend. We never left the house, except for a wine tour. We will absolutely be coming back!!! The owners truly know how to make you feel welcome. There were cute little touches everywhere, and they had the home stocked with all of the things you always tend to forget....spices and soaps and such. Great experience!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: So glad to hear about your weekend experience! Thank you for the kind words and for noticing all the special little touches that we try to provide for our guests. Rich and Eileen.

My family and I had such a great time at this beautiful and roomy condo! Comfy bedrooms, with plenty of room, and nice size bathrooms. We loved to prepare many of our meals in the bright, equipped kitchen and eat together at the large dining table. Private outdoor seating areas. Gorgeously decorated thru out.Loved to walk to a cafe, bakery and market. The beach is close, or a short drive to Warren Dunes beach. We will be back to enjoy again and have already recommended, as a friend had recommended to me!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: Thanks so much for your review! Glad to have you back again this coming summer!

Beautiful rental. Excellent location, close to restaurants and beaches. Great place to ride bikes and enjoy the outdoors. Beautiful unit which I would highly recommend!! We enjoyed the Kurdish restaurant within walking distance, Soe, and the Swedish Bakery. We also lunched at Redamak's and strolled the beach in New Buffalo. Rode bikes to the beach and drove to the Warren Dunes.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We had a wonderful stay here! 4 adults and 2 kids, and there was plenty of room to spread out for alone time, and a nice dining area and living area for time together too. Was pleased with how clean the property was, and it was decorated very nicely! The only thing I would mention was minor: no kleenex were there so we had to get some ourselves. And maybe the local beach has changed things since other reviewers were there, but dogs are no longer allowed on the Harbert beach. We had a great stay at "breeze" and would definitely recommend staying here! We will be back!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: Sorry for any confusion about pet friendly beaches here in Harbor Country. Unfortunately, none of the road-end public beaches are dog-friendly. Perhaps you read a review about the Dog Park located in Harbert Park; that's a favorite amongst many of our renters here at Breeze. There is a dog-friendly section in nearby Warren Dunes. I hope you come back to stay soon, and you're able to take the four-legged family members for a swim there. Thanks for your feedback - it's always helpful for us as well as future renters. :)

The property was large, sunny and very pleasant! The location was absolutely perfect for wine tasting at the local vineyards and visiting the area antinque shops and restaurants. We drove to the beach at the end of the road and had a nice walk along the shoreline; lucky for us December 2 felt like fall. I did wake twice during the night when trains passed by; they were short, and I fell quickly back to sleep. We'd love to come back in the summer and enjoy the outdoor patio and grill. I would highly recommend the property!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We had a great stay here for a party of 4 adults, 2 little kids, and 2 dogs. It was spacious and a good layout that allowed everyone to hang out together easily but also made it easy to get some privacy when it was time for kids' naps, etc. Booking was very easy and the location is very nice. It was quiet and peaceful. The proximity to the playground and dog park was especially handy for our group, and we went there every day of our stay.Recommended for: Pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Why the Owner Chose Harbert:
Harbert is one of those great destinations, that once you find it, you hope not too many others follow suit. The restaurants, shops, beaches, culture and all around vibe are unmatched. The Lofts are nothing short of spectacular. Carved out of Michigan's oldest winery, the historic property is unlike anything we have ever experienced. Super design, quality and vision are all present.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
A straight shot to the beach, two restaurants and a bakery, galleries and antique shops, all steps from your door. Many wineries are a 5-minute drive down country roads. A dog park is next door at Harbert Park which also has a playground, fishing pond, ice rink in the winter, pavilion, and a baseball diamond. The Warren Dunes are less than 2 miles away. On site we have a fire pit, picnic pavilion, and a serene prairie with footpaths and relaxation areas.
