Sunset Shores Lake House is your own private lake front paradise on Lake LBJ in Granite Shoals, TX. Situated on a shaded wake cove, this home has a “secluded” feel with a quiet community park on its right and hill countryside across the street. It is also fenced on each side with a gated courtyard.
This premiere home is exactly what your family has been looking for in a lake vacation. With over 3500 square feet of living space and 3 large separate living areas, Sunset Shores offers plenty of space to be together yet still enough room to get away from it all.

Overview:
As you walk up to the house, you notice the large magnolia trees, various ferns and gated courtyard with arched entrance. The front door leads you to the first floor of the home with wrap around deck, perfect for gazing at the water and sunsets. The kitchen, dining area, living room, bathroom and two bedrooms are upstairs. A traditional bedroom, large kids’ bedroom with living area, bathroom and game/entertainment room are downstairs. The lake view is spectacular from the upper level balcony and lower level windows spanning the entire back of the home.
UPSTAIRS: The upstairs is the first floor of this home.
Dining and Living Areas: The tiled dining area and carpeted living areas are separated by a floor to ceiling, four-sided rock fireplace. An antique table and chairs bring fine dining to the lake with seating for 6. The living room is spacious with multiple sitting areas, including a couch and chairs with coffee table and two small tables with chairs for solo meals or plugging in the computer. Large picture windows span the back of the home with access to the upper balcony.
Kitchen: A traditional kitchen with added features such as a porcelain top stove, double door fridge with filtered water and ice dispenser, recessed and track lighting and ample counter space with elevated bar top including four barstools. It also includes the basics, such as dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker and toaster.
Bedrooms: The Master bedroom has a king size bed and the second bedroom has a double. Both share a full bathroom with shower/tub combination.
DOWNSTAIRS: There are two entrances to the downstairs – one from the living area to the game/entertainment room and one by the kitchen to the third bedroom. With two entrances, you don’t have to bother sleeping guests!
Bedrooms:
The third bedroom is “shabby chic” complete with a queen bed and fresh white linens, dresser, wicker rocker and ceiling fan.
The fourth bedroom is between the third bedroom and game/entertainment room. This large bedroom and living area is made for kids! Two bunk beds each with a twin trundle and two double air mattresses provide sleeping for 10 guests. The living area has a love seat, rocker, television for movies and video games and stone fireplace. The faux hardwood floors and kids table with chairs make this a perfect place to have an afternoon snack or arts and crafts.
Bathroom: Although this home has two bathrooms, the downstairs bath is very spacious. It has two sinks, long countertops and a shower/Jacuzzi tub combination.
Game Room / Entertainment Room:
This is the place for kids and adults to play when they are off the lake! A ping pong table, coffee/snack bar (with microwave, coffee maker), cable television, large “L” shaped couch and two comfortable chairs are included. Kid-friendly ceramic tile floors are perfect for toys and indoor games. Wrap around windows with blinds, three ceiling fans, and open floor space for coolers, water shoes and towels are added features.
OUTSIDE:
The back yard is fenced on both sides of the home, with open access to the boat dock with lift, dual jet ski ramp and water. A cement patio and grassy area lead you to the boat dock with lift and swimming/sunbathing deck. You can wade in shallow water by the swim ladder, or dive into deep waters off of the dock. Lower the jet ski ramp (if there are no jet skis on the ramp) and cool your feet or push off on your raft.
The Sunset Shores Lake House wake cove is a perfect location for safe swimming, fishing and wake boarding! You are tucked away, yet just minutes to open water.
The boat launch is conveniently located a ½ mile down at park #4.
The Sunset Shores Lake House is located in Granite Shoals, TX right off of Highway 1431. It is only 60 minutes northwest of Austin, 90 minutes north of San Antonio, 3 hours south of Dallas/Ft. Worth and 3 ½ hours west of Houston.
It is minutes from Marble Falls (just right down Hwy 1431) for grocery shopping, restaurants and boutique/antique shopping. You are also close to several local activities and attractions - golf courses (Packsaddle Public Golf Course or The Legends Golf Course in Kingsland or Inks Lake State Park Golf Course), water parks (Granite Beach in Horseshoe Bay), hiking and camping (Inks Lake State Park), wineries (4 local) and sightseeing/tourist attractions (Longhorn Caverns and the Berry Farm).
