The apartment and the grounds are top shelf with the ocean seconds from your comfortable chair. New Smyrna has great resaurants and solitude. We love the fact that it is on a peninsula with NO traffic with easy access. The apartment is immaculate with everything one needs for a pleasant stay. We are now planning our return trip. 5 star complex including good security.
Owner response:Our condo is literally seconds from the beach. When sitting in the living room it often feels like you are on a luxury cruise ship with the ocean right outside the windows. Regarding restaurants some of our favorites include Mi Mexico, Boston Fish House, Mon D'elice french bakery, New Smynra Steak House, and Breakers. For desert we love to get soft ice cream at Frozen Gold.

We had a great time in this condo. Unit was clean and ready for us. The beach is right there in front of you, so no need to drive to it. We definitely, recommend this condo to anyone planning a stay at New Smyrna Beach.

Stayed here with nieces and nephews (2-19 yrs old) and we ALL had a blast! The condo is beautiful...great light from the windows around the living room (love a corner unit!)...fantastic furnishings and provisions...we even read one of the Hardy Boys mysteries from the back bedroom! The dvds and toys were a big hit as well. Looking out onto the beach from the patio was so relaxing...well worth the price of admission. My morning run was great, with a perfect view of the sunrise as a reward. We boogie-boarded and my brother brought his Stand Up Paddleboard over, too. That was GREAT! The pool was great, management was very helpful and the community room upstairs was a blast with the pool table and table tennis game! Really, the best we could hope for with kids on board! Martin offers a great experience and we will be back!! :)

My family just returned from a week at your amazing beach condo. 4 generations of us were able to enjoy fellowship together in the comfort of your abundantly user-friendly place; we could feel the "love of family" you've established there with your own children/grandchildren. Thank you for one of the most memorable visits to New Smyrna we've had - this was our 6th time there; first with 4 generations. We loved our stay & thank you for your willingness to share it with others! The property was very well maintained & clean throughout the entire building. The condo itself was well-kept, clean, very comfortable, & above average with organization & extras. The high chair, toys, beach toys & chairs, boogie boards - WOW! It's so great not to have to travel/fly with all of those things! What a great surprise to find so many things available for our use! It'll help us to pack even lighter next time - which, by the way, we are planning on trying to get your place again next spring! :)
Owner response:Thank you for your kind words. We try to make our direct oceanfront beach condo nicer than other available New Smyrna Beach properties. We add many extras that others simply don't take the time or make the investment to offer. We continually update our home and especially like to add more toys, games, books, DVD's, sports equipment, pool/ocean play items and many more extras. Perhaps that is why we have so many guests come back year after year. We look forward to your coming back next year.

What a pleasure it was to wake up each morning to the gorgeous ocean view outside! We had a wonderful time - even making homemade ice cream with the ice cream maker supplied in the condo. The rooms were large and confortable, many books, puzzles and movies available when the weather wasn't good. The 12th floor lounge was great for playing pool, too. We had our choice of seafood restaurants all within close driving range.The owner was available to address any concerns we had, as was Surfcoast Realty.
Owner response:This property has one of the best views of the ocean we have every seen anywhere. We can't take credit for it but we can certainly share our home with others. The 12th Floor Recreation Room offers 2 pool tables, a ping pong table, kitchen, small library of books and a great balcony to take in the incredible views of the beach and ocean for miles in either direction. We appreciate all of our guests responses and always try and make it even better for the next guest. The picture provided for this condo ABSOLUTELY does the condo justice. As soon as we walked in, the view hit us and it was as amazing as it looks! The condo really is as clean and cozy as it appears and we were beyond comfortable. The condo complex also has a wonderful pool and game room that we found complimentary. When I inquired on booking a condo, Martin was the ONLY owner that called me personally to explain the location, the beach, and the surrounding area. I was very impressed by that. Our favorite part of the trip was the beach - it was clean, quiet, and beautiful. We couldn't have asked for anything more. There is plenty to do in the area in addition to the beach; we drove to the Ponce de Leon Inlet Lighthouse and it was great. Our favorite restaurant was the New Smyrna Beach Steakhouse - it was fabulous!! Flager avenue is perfect for strolling and shopping for souvenirs. Our favorite shop was Gyftz - they had so many unique items. This condo and location was the perfect choice for us to have a relaxing and peaceful vacation with our children. We were very pleased and will definitely be back at some point.

Every time our family stays in our condo we wonder why we do not stay here more often. Unfortunately with our children in school and active in sports and many activities we have to live vicariously through our guests. Treat your self to New Smyrna Beach and it's amazing 14 mile pristine beach. It is one of the locals best kept secrets and only one hour from Orlando with Disney, Seaworld and other parks it's a must on your next visit to Florida.

We love this beach condo in our favorite complex on beautiful New Smyrna Beach! It is large, open, sunny with plenty of room for a family. It is beautifully decorated, yet homey and perfect for families with young children or teenagers. We would recommend this condo to anyone who wants to enjoy a lovely beach vacation in one of the most beautiful condos in New Smyrna Beach! We are already planning our summer 2012 vacation here! The owners are wonderful to work with and make sure you have everything you need to make your stay special. There are so many wonderful restaurants in New Smyrna Beach but the kitchen in this condo is perfect for dining in and sitting out on the balcony, that overlooks the ocean to share a meal and memories with your family and friends that will last forever! We can't wait to come back!

When I was looking for a place to go and get out of the NH winter for a few weeks, I came across this property and picture and thought Wow how nice would that be. Well let me tell you, it was beautiful. The photos that were provided didn't do the place justice. It was the perfect location. The place was very neat and clean and being right there on the ocean, it just couldn't of gotten any better. The property is pretty centrally located, so within the farest, an hour drive you could see any attaction you wanted. There was plenty of great resturants near by. I would highly recommend this property/location for anyone that is looking for a beautiful ocean front vacation.

We have just returned home from a week in your beautiful condo at Southwind. I just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our stay. The view was breathtaking and the condo was just perfect. We have never stayed in any condo that was so well stocked with everything we could possibly need. The whole complex is extremely well maintained. We look forward to returning for another visit.

Just returned from a wonderful week and thoroughly enjoyed staying in this beautiful condo. We were a group of 6 and having 3 full bathrooms was a definite plus. This condo is well stocked and the owner goes out of his was to please his guests. The whole complex is clean and very well maintained. Would stay here again!!

In our view, the Southwind Complex is one of the best in New Smyrna Beach. Unit 201 is the best in the complex. The view is spectacular. The unit is very clean and equipped with everything you could possibly need to make your vacation a wonderful experience. Lord willing, we will be back.

This place is beautiful! We came down with our two children and my brother and sister-in-law and this place was furnished to handle all of our needs. The kids enjoyed all the toys and movies and especially loved jumping the waves in the ocean. My daugher especially love the pool! We can't wait to come back.

This condo is truly an oasis. Everything is provided for a persons comfort. Four good girl friends met for a wonderful week in April. Being right on the ocean is heavenly. The kitchen had everything. This was better than a five star Hotel with the exception of maid service.

We had a wonderful two week stay in your beautiful condo. you have thought of everything imaginable. The walks on the beach in the sunshine, the fine restaurants, and the sound of the waves were highlights of our vacation. Our 14 month old grand daughter with her mommy and daddy came the second week. She loved the toys the pool and the beach. Looking forward to our next visit.

We thoroughly enjoyed the week. We had snow and ice at home in Shelleyville, Kentucky so our stay was even better knowing that! The condo is beautiful and stocked like no other we have stayed in. The weather was good and the men enjoyed fishing in the surf and the ladies enjoyed soaking up the rays. Thank you for sharing this lovely place and the view of the ocean was marvelous. It is rare that you find people who give back instead of just taking. Your love for this condo is evident in all the extra touches. We thought it was very clean. We truly enjoyed our stay! We've been coming to this area for years and it only gets better. March weather was wonderful! We enjoyed a boat ride, a Braves game, Blue Springs, and a lot of wonderful food (Norwoods is my favorite). We hope to be back in the area soon. The accomodations are wonderful.

It was one of the most fantastic vacations of our lives. My little girl (6 yrs) had a very nice and good time in the condo and on the beach.
