Known as the “Casita Roja” or the “Treehouse Bungalow” and located in historic Travis Heights right in the heart of Austin, this vacation rental by owner is a dream for the individual or couple who long to have an ideal central location to experience the best of Austin. Furnished, very quiet one bedroom/one bath guesthouse, rustic with a laid-back artsy flair, this bungalow has been home to many an artist in the past. It includes cable TV and wireless Internet. It's small, but very cool. The rustic kitchen is a part of a large screened in porch that overlooks a huge backyard and a forest in the middle of Travis Heights. The patio is surrounded by large trees and is a private as can be…most people say it reminds them of a place in the Caribbean. Includes: • Full-sized bed/futon in bedroom/indoor living area • Full-sized refrigerator, microwave, and Foreman grill • Linens, toiletries, dishes are provided • Shower, vanity, and room for clothes • Bicycle rentals available on-property • Treehouse overlooks large koi pond • Window A/C unit in indoor area • Safe and private • PETS WELCOME! Cancellation fees will apply.
