This is a great condo. We really enjoyed our stay here. We stayed with another couple and the codo was perfect. Each couple has a nice large suite plus the a very spacious and well appointed common area. My favourite part of this condo is the view from the deck. It is a beautiful view of the ocean. The condo was very clean when we arrived and the owners were really easy to deal with and provided lots of helpful information. I think the location of the condo is perfect too. Kihei is the ideal home base for a trip to Maui. I will be recommending this condo to anyone visiting Maui and hope to one day return.

Perfect location in south Kihei with a GREAT view of the ocean (and whales!) from a top floor corner unit. The condo was spotless and well equipped with new applicances and every gadget you can think of. Offers great privacy for couples as condo has two master bedrooms (with comfy kingsized beds) with ensuites and balconies, set on opposite sides of the unit. Owner was amazing to deal with - professional and friendly from start to finish. Don't hesitate to rent this condo - we would definitely stay here again (soon I hope) and will recommend to friends and family.

A beautifully redone condo. A person couldn't ask for a better view from the lanai. It was wonderful to sit and watch the whales just off shore. The kitchen was extremely well equipped, the furniture and beds comfortable and very nice. What a treat to have all the beach chairs, umbrellas, etc. Whether first time visitors or repeat visitors this unit is a joy to stay in. I would highly recommend it to family and friends. Thank you Randy and Julie for all the tips on sightseeing, restaurants, and general activities. Very helpful! We hope to stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was exactly as shown and described. We particularly liked the kitchen where we had lots of fun preparing Christmas dinner. The unit is very well laid out, allowing for privacy for two couples. The beach was wonderful as was the view from the lanai. Randy was great to deal with, and provided excellent recommendations for restaurants and activities. Highly recommend Suzzy's Snorkel Tours, a suggestion from Randy. Would love to stay here again.

Nice Condo!

My buddy and I got passes from our wifes for a guys dive trip to Hawaii so I decided to check in (once again) with Randy and Julie to see what was available. THey had their "other second home" available at the Maui Banyan Resort so we decided to give it a try instead of the other condo. Again, another well-equiped, nicely furnished, very clean property. Dealing with Randy and Julie is always a great experience - very nice folks that really go out of their way to make sure your stay is perfect. The unit has two nice bedrooms and bathrooms. The kitchen was very nicely equiped. We found the complex quiet with plenty of parking. We were within walking distance to several restaurants. Was a perfect condo for a quick get-away while we hit some of our favorite dive spots.

Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, sightseeing.

My husband and I were so pleased that we picked this condo to celebrate our 50th anniversary. Our 5 weeks in Randy and Julie's condo went far too quickly. It had everything to make the perfect vacation - great location (within walking distance to most everything you need), wonderful comfy beds for a good nights sleep, all the amenities you could possibly need (this had to be one of the best equipped kitchens in any condo we have ever rented), a fantastic view (the perfect spot to enjoy the beautiful sunsets) and a beautiful beach right across the road! All this and it's quiet too! Randy was great to deal with - very attentive and we really appreciated all the restaurant tips etc. On 2 occasions we had guests staying and it turned out perfect - lots of space and privacy. We have no hesitation in recommending this condo and if we return to Kihei, this condo will definitely be our very first choice.

We just returned from a week in Maui and stayed in Randy and Julie's condo. The condo is very clean and well maintained. There are many little extras that made our stay comfortable. We were two couples so the two master suites were perfect. We enjoyed watching the sunset each evening from the lanai. The location is great. The owners went out of their way to make us feel at home, including advice on restaurants, excursions, ets. We would not hesitate to recommend this condo. Had an awesome stay in Maui. I took my husband to Maui for our anniversary and my in laws came for the first time and we were so happy with the condo! Couldn't ask for a better place. Randy and julie put so many personal touches in the place so it felt like home. I was also really happy with how helpful Randy was with all the information we needed, and the fact that he checked in was nice. The condo was really clean when we arrived and we didn't have any problems during our stay. I also really appreciated that Randy took the time to list his and Julies favorite places and restaraunts to try, which we did! We would definatley stay here again if we ever make to Maui for another trip!

We had 4 adults (2 couples) stay for a week & had a WONDERFULL time. The condo is perfect for 4 people & very well stocked (I'm not kidding); I have never stayed at a rental property before that has been that well stocked. The pictures on the web site do not do this place justice (real life is MUCH better).The fruniture is very nice & the beds are quite comfortable The view is amazing, We made it a point to be on the patio every night to enjoy the sunset with a cold beverage. The owners of the condo are on the ball!!! Comunication was great all the way around (they even checked in on us when we arrived..wow) Thanks Randy!! I would no doubt stay there again & highly reccomend this condo to anyone wanting to stay in the Kehei. Thanks again; we can't wait to get back

A Little Bit of Heaven

We searched the web for a place that would meet our needs and this unit did just that. The two bedrooms with California king beds worked well for our six foot plus husbands (and us too). The unit was clean and well-maintained as shown in the listing. Most of the things you will need upon arrival(groceries, gas, drug stores) are within walking distance or a short drive from the unit. Randy anticipated most of our questions before we even asked and supplied us with directions from the Airport to the unit, information about internet access and a "Top Ten List" of places to eat and things to do while in Maui. The Road to Hana had incredible views of the island. We started early, took our time and thoroughly enjoyed the day! You can't beat the shopping at Kaanapali and Wailea. Rent a car and explore the entire island; you will not be disappointed. We have already recommended this unit to our friends and would definitely stay here when returning to Maui. We came home with lots of pictures to help us remember our "little bit of heaven" on earth!

My husband, mother and I stayed here for 10 days in April and what a wonderful place to spend our vacation. The unit was perfect for us with it's two master suites and ensuite bathrooms! Check in and check out was a breeze. The kitchen has every appliance and gadget one needs to make the stay enjoyable! The location is fantastic, the condo very clean and spacious and the view breathtaking! Randy and Julie truley go above and beyond to make your stay memorable. Thank you for opening your home to us. Everything went smoothly. Check-in was a breeze, as they had a packet with keys and info waiting for us. There were no issues with the condo - we all loved it. We were 2 adult couples and the condo was set up perfectly for us with 2 separate masters, and plenty of privacy. Of the 3 places we stayed in Hawaii, we liked this one the best. There was a great beach right across the street and many great restaurants nearby. In fact, it was right on a strip with plenty of resources nearby - even a health food store. It was really nice to have quality furnishings, along with better quality linens and towels, and the beds were extremely comfortable. We also appreciated the extra touches - like the complete stock of supplies - from dish soap to sunblock to corkscrews. Not every place thinks of the little things. Randy and Julie definitely have their system down and it shows. Randy went the extra mile and checked in after we arrived just to be sure everything was satisfactory. I'd be happy to recommend this condo and if we visit Maui again, this will be our first choice of places to stay.

My family and I stayed here for week in August and that was far too short a stay and this condo was a perfect location. Although we have only been to Maui once, we have rented other condos at other locations and was by far the nicest one we've ever rented.From a nice view from the lanai of the beach to just how clean and furnished the condo was, we enjoyed everything about this unit and wouldn't hesitate to rent it again or recommend it to our friends. Thanks again for helping to make this vacation truly memorable.

Beautiful Condo - Great Location

We stayed here for 12 days in July with another couple and were so pleased with it. The condo is nicely furnished, very clean, and comfortable. The owners have thought of anything you might need and have it available. They even provided excellent restaurant recommendations.The lanai has a wonderful ocean view with dramatic sunsets. We have stayed in the So Kihei area many times and this was definitely a rental we would recommend and return to. It is excellent for 2 adult couples allowing each couple privacy but a large living/kitchen area to socialize with each other. There are wonderful beaches, restaurants, and shopping to either walk to or a short drive away. Complex is quiet and very well maintained. We never heard any other tenants while in the unit. We have stayed at other older complexes where you had "neighbor noise" but none here. Randy checked in with us after we arrived to make sure all was OK and was very quick in responding to all our emails during the entire rental process from beginning to end.

Best Place To Stay While In Kihei!

After spending a week with our family on Front Street in Lahaina, literally right on the water (our bedroom had a direct view of the ocean 30 feet away), I was concerned that our stay in Kihei would never live up to the first leg of our vacation on Maui. Shortly after arriving and settling into this condo, all fears were put to rest. Randy and Julie have created a homey, relaxing oasis with all the amenities and luxuries of home that you usually long for when staying in a vacation property: from the quality of the bed linens, to the plethora of kitchen appliances, dishware, cutlery and gadgets. There wasn’t one thing that we needed or wanted that wasn’t already provided. Also, it is obvious that they didn’t skimp in their remodel of the property. Vacation rentals that I have seen before are often beat-up dumping grounds for second-hand furniture: not here! This place is beautifully and tastefully decorated and very comfortable. And all of the materials used make it feel luxurious: bamboo floors, cherry cabinetry, granite countertops, quality appliances... The washing machine and dryer are very nice and you will really appreciate them after a day at the beach. While it was only the two of us, it was obvious that this would be a great option for two couples traveling together. There are two master bedrooms with king beds and en suite bathrooms, and there is even a separate, private entrance to one of them. This location is ideal. Many of the condo complexes in Kihei sit right on Kihei Road. The Maui Banyan sits back a few hundred yards from the street which makes a huge difference. You can enjoy the convenience of beautiful beaches just across the road while avoiding the noise of a constant stream of traffic that I am sure must plague many other buildings along the strip. It is very peaceful and relaxing here. And this condo has the best vantage point of any other in the complex: the view is spectacular: There are two lanais, one of which is very large and spacious. Many of the lanais at the Banyan are very narrow and are not wide enough for much more than a small chair. This one, however, offers ample room to relax or dine while watching the spectacular nightly sunsets. We have taken such fond memories with us after staying in Randy and Julie’s home and will not hesitate to return on our next visit to Maui. So leave the kids at home and enjoy a luxurious, romantic getaway here at the Maui Banyan- you won’t be sorry. I cannot recommend it highly enough!

and when we do, we'll be sure and rent this condo again. The beach view was fabulous. Everything that we needed to cook was there. Randy was very helpful with things to do, businesses to use, eating establishments,etc, he never steered us wrong. We used the grills by the pool (cleaned daily) and enjoyed the whole trip. Our grown daughter/son-in-law joined us and the two masters were perfect. Can't wait to go back!! We HIGHLY recommend this unit for rent!! (Susie's Snorkeling was the best for snorkeling and scuba and we had several meals at Fred's!!)

"Home Away from Home in Paradise"

Location was perfect, steps from Kamaole Beach II, restaurants, shops, and grocery stores. The view from the lanai couldn't be better, it was the best in the complex in our opinion. We watched the sunset almost every night. The condo was updated nicely, fully stocked and well appointed. Randy and Julie have thought of everything you will need on your vacation. We made use of the beach chairs and coolers that were provided almost everyday! Make sure to make a stop at Wal Mart and/or Costco near the airport to pick up all your groceries and sundries on the way in. Randy was a pleasure to work with from beginning to end. We cannot wait for our return visit to Maui and would not hesitate to stay in this Maui Banyan condo! Thank you Randy and Julie for making your condo a wonderful "home away from home" in paradise!

Our vacation in Paradise

There are many reasons our Maui vacation was so successful, all of them having to do with Randy and Judy's condo. My husband and I are "nesters" and we like to have a comfortable base of operation when we travel. This is what we had in Maui. From the very first inquiry to Randy, we were impressed with how he conducts business. First of all, he responded to our email within 30 minutes....this was after we had made two inquiry's previous for other properties, with not a single response.....so our initial impression was so positive. The location of the condo was so perfect, close to beach, restaurants and the beautiful sunsets. We couldn't believe how well stocked the kitchen was! It lacked nothing.....everything we could possibly want was there. The beds were just so comfortable, and that can make or break a vacation. A small problem with a broken patio door lock was taken care of immediately....we emailed Randy and it was repaired the next day. With follow-up phone calls from Randy to make sure it was taken care of. The friends we were traveling with were equally impressed with our accommodation....a big relief, since I had arranged it all! Also, new to my experience, our damage deposit was in the mail to us within two days of our arrival home. Unprecedented! So all in all, it was a beautiful condo, in a beautiful spot, managed by beautiful people!! Our "baby moon"

We had a fantastic time in Maui after a 10 year hiatus. Every descriptor in this vrbo description was as descripted or better. Randy was more than willing to help us out and available for any questions we had..even allowing us an early morning move in due to a flight change. The location is perfect, as everything in Kihei is within a walk. The parkade at the property is easily accessible and keeps the car cool. The pool is nice but we didn't spend more than a couple hours there, due to the beach being 100 yes away. We will be back someday, and hopefully wi good friends.

Randy and Julie have a wonderful condo and the Maui Banyan is a very nicely maintained property. The condo is very clean and has nice personal touches. Sunsets from the lanai were fantastic. The kitchen is great, we had quite a few meals in and there was everything needed to prepare them. The beds are large and comfortable: our twin boys sharing wasn't an issue! Randy is great to deal with, the reservation process was handled promptly and professionally. Check in and out was easy. We will definitely recommend this condo to our family and friends!

A wonderful vacation!

We were so pleased with our stay! Randy and Julie have done a wonderful job updating and stocking this condo with everything we needed. From an abundence of beach towels to the well stocked kitchen, we had all the comforts of home and then some. We also appreciated the grounds of the Maui Banyan. The proximity to the beach, the showers at the walk up entrance to spray off sand and salt water, the nicely maintained pool and bbq's were all pluses. It's a large complex, and Randy and Julie arguably have the best location with a corner unit where we watched whales migrating from the lanai. I should also note that prior to our stay, all our interactions with Randy were top notch. He was quick to communicate and responsive to our questions. Because of the layout, this condo is ideal for two adult couples. However we are a family of 4 with 2 kids. They are the right age that they don't mind sharing a bed (especially a king!) so this laybout worked for us too. 100% a great experience!

The condo is updated and in excellent condition. It is well looked after, very clean, and well stocked. There are two separate bedrooms with king beds, great for 2 couples sharing. It was quiet but close to beaches, restaurants, and shopping. The owners provided local information which was very valuable to enhancing our holiday experience. I would highly recommend this condo and the facility to my friends and family.

Randy and Julie . . . we had a wonderful six week vacation in your beautiful home away from home! The view from the lanai was spectacular. Your condo was so clean, well equipped (loved the huge refrigerator and ice-maker), comfortable and very well maintained. Right from the start, our experience dealing with the Owners (Randy & Julie) personally was the best. They were extremely helpful with everything from booking their condo to great places to see to their favourite restaurants. The grounds at the Maui Banyan are also very lovely and well maintained. Perfect Vacation Condo

This Condo has a great location in South Kihei. A short walk to beaches and restaurants. The condo itself was updated and in excellent condition. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the appliances and utensils that you would probably need, They even stocked non-food consumables such as tin foil and plastic wrap. All the amenities worked perfectly. Our late-night after hours check-in was efficient, and check-out was a breeze. I would highly recommend this condo. The owners are very nice people who truly care about your experience while staying in their condo. There is no doubt that we would return to this condo again in the future.

Great place!

The condo was SO much better than staying in a hotel, for so many reasons! The place is renovated, has the perfect amount of space, and has all the amenities you'd need for a home away from home. Having a fully stocked kitchen allowed us to save tons of money by not eating out for every single meal (not to mention being able to take advantage of local produce and other food we can't get at home)! We felt secure in leaving our belongings in the room because there was no maid coming in and out. We didn't have to wade through throngs of people as we would have in a hotel. There was a nice beach area directly across the street. Although we didn't get a chance to take advantage, the pool area was well maintained and had FANTASTIC gas barbeque grills available. The location of G-502 in the complex is perfect! Top floor, no neighbors except on one side, best view of the water! The spacious balcony was perfect for breakfast in the morning, and cocktails at night (okay, maybe in the afternoon as well!). The entire reservation process was professional and I appreciate that they followed up to make sure everything was okay. I would highly recommend and this is the only place I'll stay when we come back!

Randy and Julie's beautiful condo worked out perfectly for our family vacation! Our high school aged girls had their private space (and bathroom!) while we had our master suite. The condo is meticulously maintained and well supplied (including beach chairs and toys) to make it a very comfortable home away from home. It's also got a great location with the best Maui ocean/sunset view right from the lanai. We would definitely recommend this condo to anyone considering a Maui vacation!

Our vacation experience in this condo was wonderful. From the first time contacting the owners we received an immediate response to our request and all our communication with them was great. The condo offered everything you would want in a holiday home - great location, ocean view, beach across the street, lovely grounds/pool. The condo was immaculate, comfortable king beds and all the things we needed from kitchen items to beach chairs & coolers. Walking distance to restaurants/shopping. The condo was perfect for our vacation needs. It was a beautiful condo with great views, easy walking distance to a great beach and good restaurants. Randy and Julie have thought of everything from beach umbrellas, and towels, to a kitchen stocked with all the items needed for preparing meals. They were wonderful to work with and helped us with good information . They have done a great job with the details in the listing and the photos. After viewing and reading everything provided, we felt right at home the moment we walked in. Everything was VERY clean and well-maintained. It not only met our expectations, but exceeded them. We have already recommendedRandy and Julie and their great condo to others, and can recommend them to you. You will absolutely love working with them. We also recommend Cafe Olei, Five Palms, diving at the Mekena golf and beach restort, (ask for Pat), Cheeseburger in Paradise at the Wailea Mall, the Piiholo Ranch Zipline, The Aquarium at the Maui Ocean Center, Alan and Peggy

The check in process went smoothly. The ladies at the front desk are so nice. The Condo was GREAT! We felt it was the probably the best we have stayed in ever. You have all the amenities anyone needed, with beach towels, beach items, cooler, fans and beach towels. The fans helped a lot. We had a great breeze. The sunset views were great. Very nicely decorated, very up to date. There is a public beach across the street and Kewakapu Beach is down the road and starts next to the Mana Kai. Within walking distance in Fred's Mexican Cafe and Moose McGillycuddy's Pub along Bistro 808, great food at all places.

We stayed for the first time this past April (2010) and found the location to be so convenient (a 2 minute walk) to a great beach, shops and dining. On the top floor, the unit was peaceful and provided for an amazing view of the ocean. The owners are caring and great to work with. They really want you to enjoy your stay and provide a place that feels comfortable and relaxed. It is a great price for the luxury.

Randy & Julie We enjoyed your second home, and I have to say it absolutey wonderful, the kitchen was very well equipped, nicely decorated and clean with plenty of beach towels. Yhe view from the lanai was fantastic we saw many whales from the lanai it was awesome. We look forward to staying at your second home in the near furture, and will recommend it to our friends. The stay was great. The unit look exactly like the pictures we saw on VRBO. Roomy, very clean, comfortable, ice maker, big fridge, toaster, blender. The rooms and their respective bathrooms are separate and private making this an ideal unit for two couples, or if you are like we were, two dive buddies who don't want to hear each other snoring. Even though we arrived pretty late, the check-in process was quick, no problem there. The view from the lanai was super. The rooms were big, the beds comfortable. The place was "turn-key" didn't need anything but food really. The location and its proximity to the beach was nice, and it is an absolutely amazing beach. If you like Hawaiian sunsets, and who doesn't, you get one every night from the beach or the condo's lanai. Also just a short 1 minute drive to the boat landing for scuba diving trips was nice too. The bonus was all of the info on local eats and entertainment Randy provided and the referral to Ed Robinson's Dive Excursions (really nice people, fantastic dives). Yes, we would not hesitate retuning to this unit and recommending this unit to friends.

Aloha Julie and Randy: We so much enjoyed our stay in your `Home away from Home`. We have stayed at the Maui Banyon many times and your unit was by far the `Best`. The upgrades you have made are wonderful, the two King beds in each bedroom with privacy, the new appliances, the fully stocked kitchen, more than enough linens along with the extras such as beach towells and beach chairs are an appreciated personal touch. Your lanai with its ocean view, and size, I agree is the best view in the house! We would love to stay in your unit again when we visit Maui next! Mahalo Digby and Brenda Belcher

Randy and Julie arguably have one of the finest units at the Maui Banyan. The view from the lanei is exactly as shown and is a wonderful place to watch the whales and the sunset. The unit is very well equipped with almost all the things you could imagine. From the large fridge with ice maker to the blender and crock pot, you will find everything you need to survive a condo vacation in Kehei. We made good use of the great pool side BBQ's. We were impressed at how clean the BBQ's were kept everyday. We would love to stay in this condo the next time we visit Maui. Mahalo.

What a fantastic condo and caring renters !! We felt that we were not just a reservation but truly guests in Randy and Julie's home. I can't express how great this unit is. My wife and I took one room and my brother the other. Plenty of privacy with a great kitchen and living room. The unit is clean and right across from a perfect beach for lounging and reading. Check-in was a piece of cake, and the directions Randy provided by email were excellent. Some days we just lounged by the pool or went to the beach, other days we did some snorkeling just a few miles south, drove the Hana highway on the other side of island, and did some whale watching up north. All were easily accessed from the condo. We were so happy to stay here; unlimited restaurants were within walking distance and we even stayed in one night and grilled using the complex's BBQs. We're coming back for sure. Thanks!

We had the BEST time. We decided that the Maui Banyan is the perfect place to stay, we loved this spacious and comfortable condo, we loved how close it is to the beach, we loved the ocean views… Everything was great!! We only wish we could have stayed longer. We took a jaunt to the western part of Maui and decided that the beaches in the south are so much better. We spent most of our time at Big Beach and the beach right across from the condo. Every morning, we walked across the street to the beach before sunrise with coffee in hand and went swimming as soon as the sun rose. The water is so warm at that beach! Then we’d come back and make a papaya and banana smoothie in the blender, and sit out on the lanai with breakfast, watching the waves. We were so glad for the blender and the coffee grinder! This starts to show how well-appointed the condo is. (There are also beach chairs, beach towels and a cooler, but bring your own beach umbrella!) We did various things over the three days of afternoons (Paia, Kaanapali, Iao Valley, farmer’s market), but we’d end each day the way we started – a walk to the beach and a sunset swim! Our favorite places for dinner were Café O’Lei (great recommendation from the owner – we had our 11th anniversary dinner there) and Pita Paradise. There are so many places to eat that are within walking distance from the condo. The owner was great to work with. She gave us wonderful recommendations for our stay. We will definitely stay here again when we return to the island!

We love this condo and have stayed in it twice. We are truly spoiled now that we have seen some other condos - the decor and upgrades make us feel like we are in our own home. It is ideally situated for access to the beach, dining, shopping and relaxation. This is our special condo - we were engaged here and returned for our honeymoon. Thank you Julie and Randy for sharing your place with us.

Thank you so much Randy and Julie! We enjoyed our stay so much! It was a wonderful retreat after time spent on other islands to relax and rest. The view is breathtaking and I can't think of a better place to eat breakfast, have morning coffee and watch the sunset! I appreciated all the extra info you sent my way as well. Great place to stay in Maui! Centrally located with tons of great beaches, restaurants, and shopping. The condo was clean, well stocked, and nicely updated. The owners were very easy to communicate with and extremely informative. Awesome ocean view from the balcony. The resort itself was well kept and pleasant. We would definitely book here again!

We loved your condo. Beautifully and simply decorated, very clean, amazing view from the lanai. Very classy. The top floor corner is a great location. Thank you/whomever set up for turning on the ceiling fans before our arrival.You were well-stocked with kitchen implements, paper goods and towels, and I appreciated the availability of the broom as well as your list of recommended restaurants. We tried Pinatas and Matteo's and had an amazing 10th anniversary dinner at Sansei. You were right on with your reviews. Didn't use the second room (no friends were available to join us) but it looked lovely, too. We'll recommend you to friends and keep you in mind for our next trip. Thanks again, Joan Aloha Randy and Julie! Thanks for a very memorable stay in your home. Check-in/out went very smoothly. The sound of tropical birds every morning was stunning. Spectacular view from the lanai. We enjoyed the spacious kitchen and lacked nothing regarding supplies. It was also very quiet which we both appreciated. I'd be hard pressed to think of improvements.
