  Really enjoyed our stay here. Cabin was spacious and well-equipped. The owners have considered everything you might need. Great location: near the gate to Yosemite and right across from Tenaya Lodge. Fun for families who ski.

  Three couples shared this home for a long weekend. The home is as described - very well appointed and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. The owner was able to help with two problems immediately - very impressed. The house may sleep 12 but I would not suggest that 12 adults try it - kids would probably enjoy the pull-out beds and bunk beds more than adults. Overall we would stay there again

  This is a lovely home, very spacious, comfortable and nicely decorated. It feels like you are staying at the home of a good friend. It is very clean and well-maintained and we would definitely recommend it to others. It does back on to Hwy 41 which can be a bit noisy with trucks but we soon adjusted to it. It takes about an hour to reach the floor of Yosemite Valley from here.

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

  My sister's family and my family rented Yosemite Bound for 5 nights. The cabin is very well appointed with beautiful decor and a wonderful library of books. The architecture is very pleasing to the eye and the first thing that's noticed when walking through the door. Every bed is well maintained, clean and comfortable. A full array of kitchen utensils, plates, forks, and knives are available. The owners even provide soap !!! There are two large dining tables, so kids and parents can be segregated (if necessary). For winter retreats, there is a large pile of firewood. For BBQing, the owners provide a propane grill and two propane bottles. We would definitely stay here again.

  Yosemite Bound proved to be very adequate for our family gathering. The well equipped kitchen and dining room were excellent for our meals. The living room was perfect for charades. and TV watching. The house's spaciousness allowed for nooks and crannies for anyone needing alone time. This was great for the teenagers. There is one hazard that needs attention. There is small step down from the hall into the study/den on the upper level. On our first evening 2 different adults missed their footing and fell there. Fortunately they were not injured, only shaken. To prevent it from happening again, we taped some yellow paper with shipping tape along the step's edge. Happily, no one else fell. The owner was very helpful regarding our concerns. We found that the deadbolt lock in the back door could not be locked from the outside.So in leaving the house on outings, we locked it from inside, and left from the upstairs entry whose deadbolt worked fine. The owners were very accommodating and helpful.

  A very nice cabin. It was spacious, lots of parking and in a great location. We hope to rent it again sometime.

  This was a beautiful cabin! Very easy to find and a convenient starting point for all of our Yosemite adventures. Very warm and inviting.

  The cabin is wonderful. It's close to the South Yosemite gate and across the road from the Tenya Lodge. The cabin has everything you need. We have lots of fond family memories at the cabin. We look forward to returning next year.

  My family and I stayed at Yosemite Bound cabin for 2 nites last July. The cabin is nice ,clean and spacious. The owner of the cabin is nice and professional. She returned my deposits within 1 week after our departure dates. I totally recomend this cabin.

  This cabin exceeded any and all of our expectations. It was ideally situated right near the Southern Gate to Yosemite National Park; a mere 10 minutes from the Mariposa Grove of Big Trees and 1 hour (an incredibly scenic drive along Route 41) from Yosemite Valley. The interior of the home is strikingly rustic and comfortable while not skimping on modern comforts (double ovens, garbage compactor, etc). Inside you will find everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. The living room, dining room, and bar are all part of a greater open floor plan with exposed beams and a high ceiling in the living room. There's a dining nook/sun room just off of that space. The bedrooms are all very comfortable too. The combination of location and comforts made this an ideal place to spend our Yosemite area vacation. We bumped into another couple who spent exactly what we spent on this cabin on a dated room at the Wawona Hotel a few miles down the road. I couldn't imagine doing Yosemite another way.
