We have stayed several times in this perfect condo (and have stayed in a few others only when this one wasn't available!) It is perfect for our family of 4 (13-yr-old girl and 10-yr-old boy). We take the master bedroom and the kids either share the murphy bed or one will pull out the convertible chair and sleep on that single bed. So the condo actually sleeps 5 very comfortably. The view of the slopes from the kitchen window is beautiful! The location is seconds away from skiing so the kids can easily head out on their own and it is easy to meet up with friends or the kids at any time. Rhonda is very accommodating and friendly - if it is your first time to Park City, she can show you the ropes! We recommend using her lift ticket service to save A LOT of money on ski school and lift tickets - so easy and convenient and you will really save a lot of money! The condo is comfortable, clean and super convenient! We are already looking forward to our ski vacation next year!

Excellent stay for ski-in/ski-out
Excellent stay for ski-in/ski-out
We chose this location for one reason - easy access to the slopes. It has that. Walk 6 feet, down stairs, and then 50 feet, and you are ready to ski. Worked great and was very convenient. The underground parking was also extremely convenient and nice. Condo worked very well for our family of 4. Mom/Dad took the bedroom. Boys got the murphy bed. Kitchen was well equipped. Hot tubs/pools were convenient. Would definitely use again if we skied at Park City again.

This condo was absolutely perfect. The condo was clean, spacious and equipped with everything you could possibly want including privacy. We were a group of 3 adults. We spent one week here and would have loved to have spent two. The location allowed easy access to the slopes. We could come in for lunch every day. You could walk to shops, restaurants, etc. The bus was outside your door. The owner was extremely friendly and very helpful before we arrived, as well as during our stay. She was always available to answer our questions. She is very organized so everything you need is ready for you upon your arrival. We would definitely love to go back next year.

Everything you need
Everything you need
This condo was well-suited for our family of 4 (parents and 2 college kids) over Christmas. As an end unit, it's so close to the slopes that we were awakened very early our first morning by the scraping sounds of the snowplow. Earplugs solved that, and we slept soundly the rest of our time there. Rhonda provided very detailed information about using the amenities (loved the disappearing pool/hot tubs overlooking the mountains!), transportation, lift tickets, activities, etc. which was important to us east coasters. She was very accommodating when weather delayed our arrival by one day, as well as with obtaining discount lift tickets from COSTCO. The kitchen and baths were well-stocked; leave your cotton balls and hot cocoa at home! She even provides rags for cleaning up melted snow from the skis and boots you may have hung on the plentiful pegs in the entryway. The living room was a little tight with the Murphy bed and air mattress set up, but we just put them up when we got up in the morning so we'd have enough room to move around. Can't beat the location, convenient parking, or skiing here!

My husband took my daughter to the Sundance Film Festival to celebrate her 16th birthday and we were lucky enough to find this lovely condo to stay in. They had an awesome time, the condo is comfortable, well kept and couldn't be better situated for Sundance, downtown and skiing. The owners could not have been more efficient and helpful and went the extra mile to offer us recommendations, lift reservations and all sorts of help. We would definitely stay again and next time, I plan to be there too.

This was our first time in Park City and my first time ever skiing. Our son (snowboarder) wanted a "ski in/ski out" right on the slopes. I did lots of research and this condo seemed perfect. Much to our delight, it didn't only SEEM perfect, it was perfect. Being an end unit, we had a perfect view of the slopes. I loved making coffee (kindly provided by owners) while watching the park crew prepare the mountain for the day. Down one flight of steps and only a minute walk was the main area where beginners like me could start on flat land and learn to ski (aka fall down a lot). But in the same location was PayDay and Crescent lifts where my experienced family members could ride the more challenging courses. Eventually, I stayed on my feet long enough to ski down the hill and ride the First Time lift. I have to admit that I loved the condo/resort area much more than the actual skiing. Hey, what can I say, I live in Florida for a reason. Snowy/cold weather is not my favorite! ;) So, onto the condo/resort itself. Our bed was SO comfy. I wanted to take it home with me. I didn't try our son's murphy bed in the living room, but he said it slept great too. The fireplace provided extra warmth and great ambiance while snow fell outside, but it also helped dry our wet gloves and ski pants between excursions. The heat system worked wonderfully and the remote control came in handy in the middle of the night when I had set the temp a little too warm. Grabbed the remote off the nightstand and turned it down a few degrees without even having to fully wake up! As other reviews have stated, Rhonda provided everything we needed to make our stay more than comfortable: toiletries, kitchen supplies, towels, local paper and info, everything! Due to already being at the resort, Rhonda was nice enough to meet us in the garage when we were confused by the parking location. In our defense, it was dumping snow and we were too cold and excited to follow simple directions. I LOVED the hot tub. It was right upstairs and had the same beautiful view that our room had. Rhonda even provided large towels especially for hot tub usage which was a great bonus and kept me warm on the short walk back to the room. There was a second hot tub down the hall on our same floor, but I chose the one upstairs because of the view. I can't say enough great things about our vacation. And a huge factor in that was staying in such a wonderful condo in a perfect location. We will def return in the future!

Great Location & Exceptionally Clean
Great Location & Exceptionally Clean
We had a great time staying in this condo for a week after Christmas. My son enjoyed watching the snowcats every night grooming the mountain in the distance. Perfect location for kids and or adults going to ski school, just out the door and a few steps. Beds, pillows and linens were all clean and comfortable. Kitchen was well equiped for our stay. Bathrooms were spotlessly clean. Plenty of closet and dresser storage. Entry way has storage for skis, boots, jackets.... TV's, WiFi, heat and fireplace all worked well. The homeowners were accommodating and very pleasant to deal with.

This condo was perfect for our family of 5. The owners are very easy to work with, have excellent communication and provide lots of information to make the trip run more smoothly. My kids loved sleeping on the murphy bed. The view from the kitchen window is amazing and we were able to watch our youngest walk to and from his ski school from the living room window! The location couldn't have been more perfect. We were also steps from the ice rink which was another hit with our kids. Rhonda has thought of all the small details in the condo to make the stay pleasant. The kitchen had everything we needed to eat almost all of our meals at home. There is even a crock pot! We will be returning in a couple of months and are looking forward to staying here again.

If you are planning a trip to Park City, this condo is where you need to stay! The location cannot be beat…next to the mountain and on the main bus route…we hardly used our rental. The condo itself is just as pictured, but what you can’t see are all the extras…the kitchen is well stocked, the bathrooms have everything you need to include shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, and if you need to do laundry, detergent and fabric softener are available! We rent from VRBO regularly and this condo is the best so far when it comes to the extras. Thank you Rhonda and Terry for all you do to keep this condo clean and inviting. We will be back.

About the owner: We both grew up spending a lot of time backpacking and hiking in the Sierra Nevada of California. Since moving to Utah, where Terry studies bees and pollination, we've become very fond of Utah powder. Our son is a terrain-park skier, and Park City Mountain Resort has one of the best terrain-parks in the West. We also love the four seasons and the great array of outdoor recreational opportunities that Utah has to offer for us to share as a family. We've had a lot of fun here in Park City, and have really fallen in love with this place. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do. Rhonda & Terry, Logan, UT
Why the Owner Chose Lodge at Mountain Village:
We chose The Lodge at the Mountain Village because of its perfect ski-in/ski-out location, right at the base of Park City Mountain Resort, a very accessible, world class, yet family friendly, resort. It's so convenient to be slope-side between Payday and First Time lifts, where family members can pop in or out according to differing needs, or all come in for lunch. It's also great to be just steps from the ticket office, rentals, ski school, shops, and restaurants. We love the hot tubs down the hall, the indoor/outdoor pool & hot tubs, the ice rink, the underground parking and the free city bus that stops right in front of our building.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
We chose this particular condo because of its perfect ski-in/ski-out location on the very end of the building toward the mountain. We especially love the picture-window view of the slopes. We love being able to be connected with the mountain even when we are inside. It's also a quiet location away from bus stop and parking lot snow removal noise. This condo was in need of a total remodel, which we did in the fall of 2008. We are very pleased with how beautifully it turned out.
