'PIN OAK' a lovely air conditioned spacious home, has a light and airy fell about it, lots of windows and cathedral ceilings. A deck runs the whole length of the house with a gas grill and patio furniture.
Located in a private setting on three acres, where children can play and be safe from traffic. The house is in tip top condition with wood floors throughout. A beautiful cherry and granite kitchen which is fully equipped. The house has an open floor plan with dining, kitchen and living space on one level.
There is a bike path at one end of the road and beach at the other. Long Point is a barrier beach great for kids because they can swim in the pond safely. 12-15 minutes by car to Edgartown, Oak Bluffs and Vineyard Haven. So the house is nicely located on the island.
We have many repeat guests that have called this their island home, for many years. We invite you to make this your summer home on the Vineyard also.

We are the Johnsons.....We live on the island year round. Tom is a general contractor. We built this house to rent, so we have made it work perfectly for this purpose. Open plan, plenty of light makes this house feel just right for entertaining. Lots of our Guests have enjoyed this house for many seasons with their families. We have watched there children grow up spending there summer vacations at the house.The house is perfectly maintained, helps having a builder in the family!!! Sharon helps Tom with the building business and also does some real estate. We love the island and enjoy all it has to offer. Why we built this house near Long Point is because it is our favorite beach, It belongs to the Trustees of the Reservations. When we get time, we love to go to Charleston,SC...where we have a house that we also rent. Located right in the historic downtown area. We love the contrast of the quiet woodys feel of the vineyard and our downtown location of Charleston.
Why the Owner Chose West Tisbury
Being close to Long Point Beach.....a barrier beach which is good for families, and we love to walk along the beach and see the occasional seal.
The Unique Benefits of this House
Bike paths, are close, walk the beach. The house is located away from the noise of the busy in town rush , but still close......12 mins to the towns to go to have dinner and shop. Just perfect to enjoy the Vineyard life.
