This condo at Pali Ke Kua was perfect for 4 friends on vacation. We were able to cook our own meals, relax in the living room and on the patio, and walk down a paved steep trail to hide-aways beach for terrific snorkeling. The condo is in a terrific location on the north side of Kauai, we were easily able to get to all the things we wanted to do (hiking, beach, snorkelling, surf lessons). This condo was a very comfortable home base with thought put in by the owners to ensure a pleasant stay. Thank you so much!

We spent another awesome week in this town home and are already planning our escape for next year. This is the best kept secret on the island! We hope you never change a thing. From the fresh fruit and fluffy towels to the surprise of a rice cooker! A few steps out the door and you can run for miles and then come back to jump in the pool and bask in the sun. Our biggest decision each day was where to eat lunch. Our favorites are hole in the wall places...like Fredericos in the Princeville Mall...almost hidden but worth seeking. Local organic ingredients and very tasty. (We ate there three times this past week). The Chinese/Thai take out next door (in the same mall), is also great. No MSG...great yellow curry. Lots of outside tables and benches if you want to eat there...covered to protect from sun or sudden showers. The beach at the end of the road, next to the St Regis Hotel is a spectular evening walk. Of course we went to Hanalei once a day for a latte and some people watching...and to get our daily dose of sun and sand. We explored the island our first few years but now we just love to enjoy the tropical breezes and relax in the comfort of your well appointed and shiney clean home. Mahalo for sharing and Aloha til next year!

So, it is truly what everyone else has written...The owners thoughtfully provided all the amenities you need for a vacation stay on Kaui! We felt very at home in this cozy family friendly condo which is in a great location with trails, beaches and restaurants close within walking distance or less than 10 minutes driving distance. We had an amazing time and can't wait to go back!

My fiance and I loved staying here! It was super clean, well decorated, and equiped with washer/dryer, cooking utensils etc., ipod player, TVs, and tons of beach and snorkeling gear. It's located on the northern part of the island which was our favorite part of the island. It's within walking distance to the famous "Queens Bath", Hideaway Beach, Sea Lodge Beach, and golfing. It's also within a short drive of Hanalei Bay, Ke'e Beach, and the trailhead for Kalalau Trail which takes you along the Na Pali Coast. I would definately recommend this condo for an amazing Kauai vacation!

We stayed two weeks and we loved this townhome! Pali Ke Kua is a great location and this is an excellent townhome. It is well stocked with beach gear, has a great kitchen, new washer & dryer, good entertainment gear, and the electric grill is a nice touch - we used it quite a few times. Close to pool and to walkway to beach. You will enjoy this rental. The welcoming fruit basket was such a nice touch, too. Thank you!

Joyce; I believe my mother, Janice, passed on our compliments but I wanted to thank you personally for a fantastic stay at Pali Ke Kua. Your place made a perfect backdrop for my wife and I renewing our vows in Hanalei. Our three kids absolutely loved the pool, the greenspace, the loft for sleeping and all the geckos that they got to look at. It absolutely was a beautiful place to stay and we truly appreciated all the extra touches you did like the champagne, the fruit bowl as well as the BBQ. We loved it so much that I wanted to talk to you about 2012. Thank you again for everything you did and we look forward to discussing all these details. Sean

Hi Joyce, Thank you for the quick refund on the deposit, and no worries about the confusion regarding the checkout time. Aaron and I had a wonderful time in Kauai and loved your condo! Everything was so convenient, well-stocked, and comfortable; it was the perfect compliment to our beach and other excursions during our stay. We especially appreciated the beach gear you provided for guest use. Thank you also for the recommendation for Infigo restaurant - we very much enjoyed our meal there. Thank you for making our honeymoon so wonderful, we have not stopped raving about Pali Ke Kua since we got home! Best, Megan and Aaron

I stayed for two weeks at this property with my sister and a friend. The three of us were very comfortable. It was really like a home away from home. The beds and pillows were comfortable, the towels luxurious and plentiful. We used the washer/dryer several times during our stay. We used the kitchen for breakfast and one other meal per day. The layout of the townhouse allowed us to be together when we wanted to be and also have some privacy when we wanted to be alone. The grounds of the complex were beautifully maintained. Every time we went outside we saw birds including Nene gees, Japanese white eyes, golden plovers, doves, and red crested cardinals. A short walk to the cliff top gave us a great view of sunsets over Hanalei Bay as well as Hideaways Beach. We also saw waves crashing against the cliffs. Great scenery!

This condo was perfect, super clean and with all the amenities of home. Quiet surrounding and the ideal location for relaxing. The garden view from the patio was just beautiful, in the background was the mountains sometimes you can see waterfalls. Great Snorkeling at Hideaway beach which is assessable via a steep walk down to the beach from the Kali Ka Kau premises. Close to beautiful beaches, water falls and places to enjoy for the kids...Zip Lining and Surfing. Did a lot of cooking at the condo which was a big saving but also enjoyed eating at St Regis which is a short walk from the condo. Ate at Makana Terrace which overlooks Hanalei Bay. Great food and the sunset is magnificent. Also ate at Brennecke’s Beach Broiler in Poipu Beach. The staff there were very friendly, great food and reasonable prices.

Aloha Joyce ~ We had such a perfect time at your gorgeous condo. We were amazed at the beautiful mountain views from your condo that changed with the sun and the full-moon ~ loved strolling to the St. Regis and enjoying the dramatic ocean and mountain views (with waterfalls) along the way ~ enjoyed snorkeling and fishing at Hideaways a few steps away ~ were thrilled by the sound of the Nene geese flying overhead ~ We were able to enjoy all these things plus much more by staying a week in your condo home. Every day was a wonderful adventure. Don and Mary Anne were so attentive, and resolved the cable problem very quickly. We would have been fine without the T.V.s, but once Oceanic Time Warner repaired the problem, it was fun to have them ~ they are nice new, large televisions! Again, thank you for your kind hospitality, and for welcoming us on such short notice. We would love to return. Mahalo Nui Loa,

Aloha Joyce: Just a short note to say that we love your condo and want to thank you for accomodating us in such a last minute fashion. We were welcomed with fresh fruit and wine on the table and fresh plumeria flowers throughout the unit and even a fresh flower lai....... wow it feels like we are staying at the St. Regis........oh that's right we are essentially next door to the St. Regis. We love the proximity to the pool. Our son and his friend sat in the spa for over an hour after dinner. You decorated the unit beautifully and we will be sure to take good care of it during our stay. Thank you again for everything! John and Theresa

Thank you very much for the use of your condo! It was ideal for us and we greatly enjoyed our time there. We particularly liked your interior styling and the overall layout of the unit. We had stayed in a different unit at PKK before that had the more traditional 2BR apt layout and this townhouse unit was nicer and a neat setup for a small family. We will definitely check in with you before our next trip to Kauai. Your associate does an outstanding job of keeping the place clean and preparing it for guests. We really appreciated the extra touches (fruit, flowers, etc) that awaited us. I think the condo is in great shape;

This townhouse has to be the best value on kauai! The design made A/C unnecessary as the cool evening air provided great sleeping conditions. Stocked with the best electronic equipment and the owners thoughtfully provide almost all beach needs except the sunscreen. Ke'ee, Hanalei Bay, Tunnels, Anini beaches are all outstanding and minutes away. Hanalei is full of fun adventure and food. Brennecke's at Poipu a short drive to fantastic meals. Private trail to a secluded beach on site and so much more.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Pali Ke Kua #4! The condo exceeded our expectations. Besides being the most attractively designed interior, the condo was clean , which is very important to us. The "extras" came in handy. Everything from a mini tool box, SHARP knives in the kitchen (I hate trying to use a dull knife), some kitchen supplies left from previous renters, the games and wireless internet. We really didn't want to leave! We felt like we had the whole place to ourselves, but felt very safe and welcome by the few landscapers we did see. Thank you for the deposit check we had so promptly as well. We would highly recommend a stay with you and hope to return next year! Sincerely, Edana

We stayed in this great condo for 2 weeks in October 2009. It fit our needs perfectly. It is an older style condo so if you need air conditioning and granite counter tops, this won't be the place for you but it was decorated beautifully and had everything we needed. My husband has been going to Hawaii since the 70's and he really loved this condo for it's old school feel. The owners were incredibly nice and easy to deal with and the complex itself (Pali Ke Kua) is perfectly situated and is well maintained. We couldn't get over how quiet it was (and that's a good thing) lots of beautiful and mature landscaping. The unit is right by the pool and we thought it might be a bit loud but once inside the condo you couldn't hear a thing. And speaking of the pool, wow, It's beautiful! We're already planning to go back to Kauai and we wouldn't stay anywhere else after our experience here.
