Nestled in the forest of the San Bernardino Mountains, "Moose Mountain Lodge" is a comfortable, modern mountain home, lovingly maintained and adorably decorated, within 1 mile of Lake Gregory. Located in Crestline, the home is 20 minutes from the junction of the 215 and 210 freeways. Highway 18 is 2 lanes each direction from San Bernardino to the Crestline turn-off, making for an easy, 15-minute drive up the hill. Crestline is situated off Highway 18, which also serves Lake Arrowhead, Running Springs, and Big Bear. Crestline is 20 minutes from both Lake Arrowhead and Lake Silverwood.

The home sleeps 5 and features a level entry parking deck for 2 cars. The living room, dining room, kitchen, and half bath are on the air conditioned main floor. The 2 bedrooms, full bath, and laundry area are on the lower floor. From the deck, you can watch the birds and squirrels, and maybe even hear the seasonal stream. Be sure to check out the pictures!
LOVINGLY DECORATED!
This is no "rustic" old cabin with mismatched furniture and left-over kitchen utensils. The furnishings are clean, comfortable, and well coordinated. The kitchen is well appointed with matching dishes, flatware, cookware, utensils, and even a variety of cookbooks.

Crestline is a friendly and quaint community with a beautiful lake that features boating, fishing, swimming, a water slide, picnicking, and a walking trail. There are a variety of restaurants very close by, as well as shopping and other activities.

Why the Owner Chose Crestline
My family had a vacation home in Crestline in the 1960's and my grandfather built 2 homes here as well. I have fond memories of summer evenings on the lake, and winter fun in the snow. My wife and I stay here as often as possible, and are always striving to make Moose Mountain as cozy and comfortable as possible.
The Unique Benefits of this Cabin
We love the fact that we can be away from it all, but still in close proximity to everything we need. There are plenty of activities available if we want to be active, but it's also wonderful to just relax and watch nature from the back deck.

Our family has stayed in Moose Mountain Lodge numerous times. We love the clean, well-maintained, cutely decorated, and generously shared cabin. We have stayed at MANY different cabins, and Moose Mountain is the best one in which we have stayed. The owners have made it so easy to use any of the amenities with no confusion due to their clear instructions for everything. Also, the owners make you feel like friends with their hospitality. I hope that we can spend many vacations there in the future.

My Wife and I have been to Moose Mountain Lodge to celebrate our Anniversary on two seperate occasions. Both trips were wonderful! The Lodge has always been in amazing condition, very clean and cozy. We visit in Feb. so there is always an amazing view of the snow topped trees and brook below the patio. Very close to town and the lake, although we are usually very happy staying in playing one of the many board games or watching one of the many movies that are provided. We are currently planning our third trip and can't wait!!!!!

We rented this home last week because we had such a wonderful stay for Christmas 2009. This home is very clean. It is nicely furnished and comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need. We enjoyed sitting on the the deck for breakfast and afternoon reading. We could hear the small creek and the birds. There is a very nice BBQ. They now furnish the sheets and towels, which they did not do in 2009, what a bonus..

We found this home on VRBO. We don't know the owners. It exceeded our expectations. Of all the VRBO homes we have stayed in this was the cleanest! It had everything we needed and was well organized. Though it was too cold to use the deck it was nice to enjoy the view of the trees and mountains beyond from the livingroom. We will be back in the summer to BBQ on the deck! The beds were very comfortable too. For a small home it felt roomy. It was a great place for the four of us to retreat after a busy holiday. We highly recommend this home and will definately be back.
