What a beautiful view of the fountains and ocean from our building ONE, 3rd floor location! Kamaole Sands is an "upscale" property that has been voted "Best Condominium on Maui" by the travel industry several times, and the Kihei / Wailea location can't be beat!

Once you visit this beautiful complex you'll see why we emphasize our wonderful building ONE location. Close to everything in the complex, but far enough away to not hear the beach traffic. Enjoy the wonderful garden, fountains AND partial ocean view from your private lanai (see photo #1). Come find out why our guests come back again and again and now make up nearly 50% of our rental business!

The location of our condo allows for a short walk to world famous Kamaole Beach who's warm clear water is ideal for snorkeling or enjoying the family friendly waves. Our custom condo is a spacious one bedroom, two bathroom unit which has been remodeled with granite counter tops, floor to ceiling mirrors, ceiling fans, appliances, pictures and tiled throughout. The concrete construction allows for a very quiet experience.

A beautiful queen size "Murphy bed" in the living room allows guests to sleep in comfort, not having the "sofa pullout bed experience". A bar with tropical bar stools sets the mood as do the tropical furnishings throughout. The condo comes with a TV/VCR/DVD, (with cable) in the master suite and an entertainment center with TV/VCR/DVD cable and CD stereo in the living room. Free high speed internet connection, just bring your laptop.

Enjoy the "Aloha Spirit" with Hawaiian videos, books and music. Also included are many videos suited for a variety of tastes. Free local phone calls and a daily paper. Completely furnished from beach towels, to coffee cups!

Our building one location is on the third floor close to the elevator but far enough away to not hear it. Our parking spot is right near the elevator, many are not. Kamaole Sands is a lush, 15 Acre property that truly represents the Aloha spirit. The pool area was renovated and the decking was replaced with beautiful flagstone. You will find two jet spas, a large pool and a children's wading pool. A new workout/exercise facility has recently been added in the pool area.

There are also four regulation tennis courts, barbecue areas, a center to book activities and 24 hour security. Kamaole Sands is within walking distance to many shops and restaurants and a five minute drive to upscale shopping. Several world class golf courses are minutes away. Why the Owner Chose Kamaole Sands

We chose to purchase at Kamaole Sands after several visits to Maui. Like many, we first stayed in Kaanapali. As we really like spending time at the beach AND IN THE SUN, we knew we wanted to have our home away from home in Maui's sunny south. Kamaole Sands is 15 acres of lush tropical grounds directly across the street from one of Maui's finest beaches. The buildings are block construction and very quiet. Close to the upscale "Shops at Wailea", championship golf, ocean activities and walking distance to shops and restaurants. We plan to add a second unit in the future and once again, it will be at Kamaole Sands.

The Unique Benefits at this Condominium

Kamaole Sands can really be a one stop vacation spot. There are four regulation tennis courts, a beautiful pool area which not only has a wonderful large pool, but a childrens pool and two jacuzzi style hot tubs. Each building has access to beautiful barbecue areas which are maintained and updated as needed. New barbecues were purchased in 2009. There's on site tourist information, free adult computer use in the administration building, 24 hour security and even a nice work out facility near the pool. You'll see why guests return year after year.

Great snorkeling with clear water in the morning hours. We got scuba certified here. Public parking right near the beach and there are showers and restroom facilities.

Great family freindly beach. One of the few with lifeguards. Best in the morning as the wind can pick up as the day heats up. Famous for great sunset pictures. Also a LARGE green area to enjoy. Often

Restaurants you can walk to. Moose's which has sister locations in Lahaina and on Oahu offers a wide variety but I usually get a burger. Fred's is a Mexican restaurant from So Cal.

We are the Camp's and as you can see from this picture, we love Hawaii and in particular; Maui. I have had a love for Hawaii since I was a boy and have always planned to live in Hawaii. I started visiting Oahu in the seventies, went to school there for awhile, got married and visited just about every year. Since we're still a few years away from the dream of living fulltime on Maui, owning a condo on "the Valley Isle" is the next best thing. Our mainland home is in Gilbert, AZ.

    • We have for years rented VRBO units around the country. This is our favorite. We spent a month in 2009 and plan to return next year. The complex is beautiful and very well maintained as is the condo. It is a pleasure to deal with the owner, who maintains a high standard. Best of all is the location. Short walk to a gorgeous beach and beach park, short walk to restaurants and shopping, miles of walking along the beaches. Excellent grilling facility around the corner and a large and pleasant pool area with shade available. What more could you want for a a wonderful Hawaiian vacation!

    • We had a truly enjoyable vacation in this unit. Everything the owner says about it is true, except that the view from the lanai is even more spectacular than in the pictures. The fountains were exquisite, as were the entire grounds. The unit is well situated, close to everything -- plus it is clean and very, very comfortable. We look forward to staying here again.

    • This is a fabulous condo. Across the street from the beach with wonderful views. We stayed here with our two children for 10 days in July 2007. We never ran out of things to do. Everything is near by. We liked the fact that Kihei is away from the tourist areas of the west side of Maui (Lahaina). We absolutely loved it. The condo is beautiful, clean. The owner is very accommodating. We will probably be back this year.

    • WE stayed in this unit in April and had a great time. parking spot is close to the elevator. Easy access to beach. owner is very accomadating. Even though the buildings in Kamaole Sands are old, this unit has been nicely updated. Murphy bed in living room is comfortable. Nice crosswinds make A/C unnecessay at nights but if you want to use it, works well. Unit is well stocked with essentials like detergents, towels, beach accessories.

      Just wanted to mention that Kamaole Sands was built in the early 1980's but has incrediblly high standards regarding maintenance. Buildings are block construction (great for sound) only four stories high, have elevator access and each owner pays on average over $400.00 per month towards maintaining the property.

    • I would like to thank Larry and Judy for a wonderful stay in their beautiful condo. I went to Hawaii for the first time with my daughter and son in law. The condo was far more than I had anticipated. I stayed in the Murphy Bed, and found it delightful and comfortable. Maui is such a beautiful island I would love to return, and if I do I definately would love to return to the condo. Thanks again for adding to the memory of a lifetime.

    • My wife and I stayed here for a week and it wasn't nearly long enough. The condo is beautiful, the location is perfect, and the neighbors were more like family than friends to us. I recommend this condo to our friends, but not to strangers (I don't want strangers filling up the calendar before our next trip out!). We look forward to staying there again soon.

    • As you can see by my e-mail, we really enjoy our Maui visits. We typically stayed the usual 2 weeks;then increased to 3 and 4 weeks. We have visited Maui about 20 times and have stayed in several different complexes and units. Our favorite over the years has been the Kam Sands complex. The last three visits have all been in this unit of Kam Sands. We have never met the owner except by phone so my comments are not driven by salesmanship. What the owner has penned as the info to his condo is as close to the actual fact as it gets. It is as neat as it sounds. The owner is very good to deal with and if you do rent this unit, treat it like you own it and it'll be every bit the Hawaain get-a-way you dreamed of!
