I stayed in this beach cottage on a girl's getaway for my 40th birthday. We all were very pleased with the accomodations. You can't beat the location and the view is amazing! All the essentials were provided and the cottage was super clean! I would definitely make a reservation again in the future.

......And this is it! We love Captiva Island and we are already planning our next stay here. This beach cottage has everything you will need and is close enough to all activities of the island yet somehow feels secluded and very private. So much to do between the great beach, tennis courts, pool, short drive or even a long walk to the resort marina to see boats and yes, dolphins and manatees! Even shorter distance to fun restaurants like one our favorites...RC Otters. Must take a walk on the beach at night with flash lights to see night life on the beach- crabs~ crabs and more crabs!! (Try not to disturb them too much please ;-) Very comfortable furnishings in the beach cottage and we felt at home instantly. Can't wait to return to this wonderful island and beach cottage.

Staying at this condo was such a delight. Our three old had a shovel and pail in hand and ready to go at 7am everyday. You literally roll out of bed and onto the beach - and a quiet one at that. This cottage is set a bit away from the South Seas condos - so you get the beach to yourself! Clean and comfortable, we will definitely return!

We have been renting this cottage from the owner for over 20 years! This cottage is constantly being upgraded but never during your stay. If you are looking for a drop dead beach vacation,this is the place! You can do as little or as much as you want. This year we had a bald eagle soaring over the pool on the first day. We found a Great Horned Owl living in the pines between the cottages and the beach. There were manatees on the beach as well as the ever present dolphins and Herons. We watched the annualTarpon migration from our beach chairs. This cottage is far enough from the public beach access that it is never crowded. Don't be concerned that you do not have access to the resort's ammenities. You don't need them. There are a number of excellent restaurants a short walk or drive away. Fishing is at your door step. We will be back next May!

We just got back home yesterday from our 3 week vacation at the Beach Cottage in South Seas. I would like to thank you for everything. You made our stay a true vacation. We were able to spend quality time with our children and the Cottage was exactly what we were looking for. We hope to come back again maybe next year. This condo is absolutely "the" place to stay! Just a few steps and you are on the most amazing beach. The shell hunting was fantastic. The birds and dolphins were magnificant. The condo has everything you need. Very clean and welcoming. I actually felt like I was at home. Nice pool and the tennis court was lots of fun. Please do not hesitate to book this condo. We had a great time in Captiva. We liked it much better than Sanibel. The condo was excellent, the view was awesome and the sunsets were amazing. On a couple of sunsets we saw dolphins as the sun was setting which was amazing. I think we lucked out with the weather because most of the week was in the high 70's and low 80's. This week looks alot cooler. We found the beach cottage very relaxing and just perfect for the 2 of us. Please keep us posted on any specials that do come up. Work is kind of unpredictable so we never know when we'll have some spare time to get away. We were just talking that eventually we would like a place just like the one we rented nice and close to the water and walking distance to town. We seemed to frequent the Key Lime Bistro alot as the food was fantastic. We also managed to get to the Thistle Lodge which was excellent as well. Thanks for all your help!! Please keep in touch,

We have been fortunate enough to spend several vacations at Beach Cottage 1419 and WE LOVE IT. It is immaculate, furnished with everything you could possibly need in the kitchen. Ample linens and bedding,beach chairs and umbrella, hose at bottom of stairs for removal of sand, gorgeous view and breath taking sunsets from the lanai. One evening when we were sitting on the lanai,a group of Ibis sauntered across our front "yard". We also enjoyed fishing, shelling and walking on the beach. After a long delay at the airport, we were thrilled to walk into this immaculate Cottage and find everything so perfect. We return every year to the cottage, however, this was our first Sept. visit. It was totally quiet, lots of birds and few people. Shipping my husband's golf clubs straight down to Pak n'Ship inside South Seas was so convenient. Long walks on miles of beautiful beach, swimming in the pool, and playing tennis were daily events. In the evening we either grilled food on the barbeque and watched the sunset, or went to one of our favorite restaurants - Green Flash, Mucky Duck, Timbers, Bubble Room, it's hard to decide there are so many good ones. The cottage was sparkling and impeccably maintained and was complete with beach chairs, outside drying racks, fresh linens and a fully equipped laundry room. It was a wonderful ten days, and we are already looking forward to our next trip.

This made our vacation! We had a reservation through South Seas Resort and there were cranes and construction outside our lanai. We have a vacation property in Wisconsin which we rent throught VRBO. We called this Beach Cottage property and the owners accomodated us and let us rent it at the last moment. We cancelled at the resort and had a better place to stay for the same rate and on the beach! We are coming back with kids next time. Awesome!!

We absolutely loved this Beach Cottage. Tennis courts out the front door, pool out the front door and the beach just out the back door. Beautiful sunsets and a perfect set up for our family of 2 adults and our three children. Never a dull moment. We cooked in most of the time or ordered in and we picked up.
