Picnic in the trees on the naturally wooded property, or just sit out on the wrap- around deck. Elk, deer, and javalina have been spotted on property, yet it is still within the town of Payson and a short walk to the shops for antiquing or coffee shop with entertainment. Come for the World's Longest Consecutive Running Rodeo. Town parks feature; pools, tennis, basketball, volleyball, fishing, and concerts under the stars. Enjoy free jazz concerts at local venues. Miles of newly opened bike and hiking trails around city. House is beautiful, but with so much to do in and around town you may not be home much. Don't miss the Zane Gray Home and Museum and lots of good restaurants!
Great jump off to Sedona, Flagstaff, Holbrook and the Petrified Forest National Park, or head up the Rim to lakes, hiking, etc.

We stayed at this cabin in early June to join our family in celebrating my Grandmothers 90th birthday. Our stay was amazing!! We made memories with our family that we will never forget on the front porch. We barbecued, watched baseball on the cable tv, played lots of ping pong, took walks in the neighborhood and even saw elk in the front yard!!! Greg and Estelle were so wonderful! They were easy to work with and great communicators. The location of the cabin is great. The house clean and has a perfect layout, the outside spaces around the cabin were breathtaking. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone... and hope to someday return.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+.

We had a delightful stay over Christmas. The house is extremely comfortable. The gas fireplace/heater made it even more cozy. The garage is heated if you want to spend time out there playing ping pong or to house your pets. Payson has all the advantages of a city/town (albeit small), with quick and easy access to hiking, skiing, and many other outdoor activities. We would definitely recommend this to anyone.
