THE CONDO
Our two bedroom, two bath ocean and garden view condominium is located in beautiful Nihi Kai Villas. This property is lushly landscaped with lawn areas and plantings of torch ginger, heliconia and other tropical flowers. The resort offers a pool area, tennis courts and a paddle tennis court. Brenneke's Beach, famous for its body surfing is a short walk from our Hawaiian home. Poipu Beach Park with it calm Keiki beach (for the little ones) and Waiohai side for great snorkeling is an easy stroll.
The condo has been recently redecorated with Asian antiques and teak furniture in the living room. The bathrooms are brand new as of August 2008 and a new kitchen as of October 2008.
Poipu is at the south end of the island on the leeward side. It enjoys light rainfall, warm days and cool nights. Water temperature varies only from 78 to 82 degrees over the year. You can get a world class tan here with very little effort
There are seven major islands in the Hawaiian archipelago. Each island is unique and with its own charm. Kauai offers a nice balance. There are ample activities to keep you busy, yet there is not runaway growth that chokes out the real Hawaiian experience. On Kaua'i you will find gorgeous beaches, often with few if anyone on them, lush rain forests with waterfalls and enough civilization to make you comfortable.
