Why the Owner Chose TomahawkThere is no place more beautiful or where the people are more friendly and welcoming than Northern Wisconsin. Our place is located only about 40 feet from the shores of Lake Alice. The lake level is controlled by King's Dam which only allows a 6' variance throughout the year. Explore the 1300 acre lake or travel 5 miles up the Wisconsin River. The lake is stocked with Muskie, Walleye, Large Mouth Bass, Small Mouth Bass, Crappie, and other delicious game fish. Enjoy the lake year round ice fishing or snowmobiling. Good times never go out of season.

The description of this lodge does not include all of the amenities it has to offer. 23 of us stayed here and had a wonderful time. The kitchen is all inclusive with utensils and small appliances for your stay. It has a rowboat and canoe available as well. There is no beach area, but it didn't stop any of the kids from swimming! I would recommend this to anyone looking for a family get-away. We are already booking for next year!
Recommended for:Girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

We stayed at the Musky River Lodge the week of July 12 and we had a blast. Every summer we get together with four other families and vacation together for one week. The Musky River Lodge is by far the best accomodations we have had so far. We liked it so much that we never went out to eat. We enjoyed cooking all of our meals on site and it was awesome to have a dining room large enough for all of us to eat in one shift. In the evenings we totally enjoyed the bar down stairs! The youngest vacationer was 1 1/2 years old and the oldest was 43. We are already planning a return trip sometime soon! When I first viewed this rental I thought it was to good to be true. I am a very picky person when it comes to lodging and I highly recommend that if you want an awesome vacation spot look no further!!!
