  • When we arrived Amaury went out of his way to help get us situated. The view and location was exactly as advertised. I was pleased about the ease of locating the room and with the unbeleivably beautiful view and sounds of the ocean. I have already asked if we can return next year at the same time as this was a peaceful and quiet place to unwind every night. I found that the property is undergoing renovation but it was still pretty quiet even during the day. I will be back and am willing to answer any questions anyone has. Thanks to the Amaury and the owners for the wonderful time i just had. Scott

  • My husband and I stayed at this studio for a week in mid-November and loved it! The studio is exactly as described and looks just like the pictures in this listing. The pool is great; nice size and cleaned often. We arrived at night and were pleasantly surprised with the beautiful view from the balcony in the morning. The beach is only a 2 minute walk through the pool area. The studio is located in a former hotel, which has been sold as condo units. Not all of the buildings in the property are in great shape, but it appears that some work is being done. It is about a 4 minute walk from the parking area to the studio, with about 5 stairs. It's not bad, but something to keep in mind as you'll have to carry your own bags. It was fine for us, but may be a problem for the elderly or those with disabilities. I made all the arrangements with the owner, Veronique, online with no problems. She was very prompt in replying to my questions. The property manager, Amaury, was also very friendly and helpful. We thought the location, on the non-busy end of Orient Beach, was perfect. We were able to have some privacy at the beach but still walk down to the busy end of Orient Beach for food, drinks, and people watching. We rented a car so we were easily able to drive to Grand Case for dinner and to other beaches & sights on the island. If we were to return to St. Martin, we would seriously consider staying here again because of the comfort of the studio and it's location.
