It’s cool in the mornings and evenings; and that perfect, sunny San Diego climate during the day! Take advantage of those cool mornings--go for a bike ride, or jog! The beautiful Batiquitos Lagoon, which is a State Bird Sanctuary, has a lovely walking trail--it’s only five minutes away.
After a day of R & R, you should definitely visit the Wild Animal Park-40 minutes. As long as you are there, you might then want to venture a little further east to explore the local wineries, which often feature wine-tasting and jazz concerts in the summer. This is just the beginning...there is so much more! We haven’t even gotten to the Del Mar Racetrack, Old Town, Fashion Valley, the San Diego Mission, the Casino’s, world class Concerts by the Bay...I could go on and on!
