We had a great time at this apartment. The facilities were great, building staff was very helpful and the amenities were fantastic - super soft towels and linens and even fancy little shampoos and soaps for the bathrooms. We would definitely rent again. Vanessa , San Francisco, CA
What a great apartment you have and the view of the Andes was the best. The neighborhood there was wonderful and so convenient to everything. The staff that works there was so helpful. We would recommend your place to anyone who would like to have a place that you feel so at home at. Cal & Dolores, Naples FL

Why the Owner Chose Santiago
My family really enjoys the location of the apartment. It is located in the Ñuñoa province, a quiet neighborhood which is only a quick metro ride from downtown Santiago. The neighborhood offers many restaurants and parks for the kids. It also has a grocery store just one block away which makes it easy to enjoy a night of home cooking when we just want to relax.
The Unique Benefits at this Apartment
Our apartment lets us enjoy everything Santiago has to offer. We enjoy the view of the Andes both during the day and night. We enjoy quick trips to Providencia and to Downtown for dinner or shopping. We are only a couple of hours from Andes skiing in the winter and the wonderful beaches of Viña del Mar in the summer. In short, it offers us a new experience every time we go.
Irrarazaval metro station allows you to visit downtown Santiago in minutes. The Santiago metro system takes you to all sections of Santiago. It is quick, clean, safe, and inexpensive.
Plaza Nunoa is a Bohemian style park with outdoor restaurants and pubs. It is a great place to spend a night out.
One block from the apartment, Montserrat grocery store offers a convenient place to do all your grocery shopping. It also has a pharmacy and ATM machines to withdraw money from your bank in pesos.
Located in the center of downtown, Plaza de Armas is a plaza full of activity. There are various outdoor restaurants and vendors. Free music concerts are offered frequently. Various historic buildings
Ski Total offers ski rentals and transportation to all of Santiago's ski centers (La Parva,El Colorado, and Valle Nevado)
Two minibus companies TransVip and TurTransfer offer transportation into the city for just under $10 US per person. They are located immediately outside of customs and immigrations.
A small bakery which makes great empanadas (a chilean semi circular pastery filled with various fillings such as meat and seafood). the bakery also offers other traditional Chilean food.
This shopping center includes a Salco brand pharmacy along with a wide selection of over the counter prescriptions it also offers a way to buy minutes to make international or cellular calls from the
A couple of neighborhood restaurants offering outside and inside seating. Great place to get breakfast or lunch. Salon California also offers free wifi.
Another great traditional Chilean bakery offering fresh chilean bread, pasteries and empanadas. Many other traditional baked goods.
Convenient location to get very fresh Chilean fruits and vegetables.
A cozy restaurant which makes very good sushi. Located in the corner of a small strip mall with a pharmacy.
Great place to get a Chilean style cup of coffee (called un cortado) and local pastery while watching people watching. Irarrazaval 2320
Great park with a wonderful view of the city. This park has zip lining, hiking trails, several adrenaline rides such as rodelbahn and a giant swing. There is a petting zoo for the kids along with a bounce floor.
Great place for the kids to spend a day with hands on science and a wonderful aquarium.
One of the most modern malls in Santiago. Outdoor restaurants, shopping, movie theater, even an indoor ice skating rink. And behind the mall is one of Santiago's largest parks.

my husband and i stayed in this apartment for one month this winter (2011) and generally had a very positive experience... the apartment was as advertised and pictured, and was perfect for the two of us... the concierge ricardo is a gem (although he speaks no english he was very helpful) and the location of the building in nunoa is wonderful -- walk-to bakery, cafes, supermarket, metro (which easily takes you to anywhere in the city you want to go), and great little neighborhood restaurants... we saw almost no americans the whole time we were there... the apartment itself is equipped with the essentials (even the washing machine in the kitchen did a credible job!) and dthere were more than enough linens... the view of the andes from the balcony is jaw-dropping... the owner (who does speak english) could not have been more accommodating or easier to work with...the only drawbacks: the cleanliness of the apartment when we arrived, left something to be desired, and be prepared to live without air conditioning and insufficient lighting, since electricity in chile is very expensive... the wi-fi service, while very sporadic, worked most of the time, but there are several wi-fi spots within walking distance of the apartment... because nunoa is a neighborhood of santiago that is blessedly free of tourists, an ability to speak spanish is almost a requirement... we would go back in a heartbeat!

Indeed a fantastic view, great appartment for a great price. A little bit small for 4 persons, but when the weather is good and you're out in town all day, that's really no problem at all. We enjoyed it very much and recommend it to other travelers. Safe neighbourhood.

Best decision made regarding Santiago vacation

We are from Boston and went to Santiago in August primarily to ski. My husband also wanted to meet with some customers he had been doing business with over the years. He was hesitant about staying in an apartment. The entire flight down I stressed about whether or not the apartment would meet our expectations. Upon entering the apartment, it became obvious that the owner had the apartment cleaned, but the cleaning crew did a mediocre job. I contacted the owner, Mr. Juan Diaz, and explained to him that the apartment was not as clean as I expected. He immediately called another cleaning crew and they arrived within a few hours. His father came and dropped my family off at a restaurant so that we could get something to eat. He later picked us up at the restaurant and took us to a grocery store for a few items like milk, bread and coffee. We were so impressed at how Mr. Diaz immediately responded to our problem. When we got back to the apartment, it was immaculately cleaned. My family and I were now very comfortable. My husband and I both agreed renting the apartment was the best decision we made for our trip. We loved everything about the apartment and its location. We especially appreciated how the owner responded to our initial disappointment. If you are visiting Santiago for vacation, it would be foolish not to take advantage of staying at this wonderful apartment.

The listing description was 100% accurate. This property was clean, spacious and filled with every ammenity we needed during our stay. The owner was very helpful in answering any of our questions prior to the stay. The hairdryer gave me great hair for the entire vacation!! The neighborhood was quiet, easy to walk around in and very safe. We explored the streets and found everything close by. The bakery was incredible. We had onces there everyday. It was about a block and 1/2 from the bus stop, from there you take a bus to the metro. The Metro was easy, clean and safe and convenient to the apartment. We very much enjoyed our stay in the condo. There was a notebook with directions and instructions for everything in the condo as well as nearby attractions. I sincerely hope you chose this rental for your next trip to Santiago.

We stayed here for a week, and honestly it was everything we expected and more. The apartment is very well set-up, with very comfortable beds and furnishings. It's great to have the supermarket, bakery and other shops so close. The building staff was very nice and very helpful. I recommend this apartment to anyone who's looking for a "home away from home" while traveling!
