Backwoods Getaway is a private luxury cabin located less than 10 minutes from Canton Trade Days just west of Canton, Texas about an hour from Dallas
The cabin is a stone 2 bedroom 2 bath with full kitchen that sleeps 4 people comfortably and up to 6 with pullout sofa. It sits on 22 acres with a panoramic view of the lake surrounded by trees, wildlife, and serenity.
The Kitchen includes 2 bars for elevated views, plenty of counter surface, a refrigerator, range, and microwave.
Relax on the massive porches overlooking a fish stocked lake and watch the wildlife including deer, rabbits, squirrels, birds, and many other animals. Its great for romantic weekends or small group get togethers.
Sit back and enjoy a warm fire, or watch the flat screen satellite TV or DVD. Imagine hiking, jogging, or taking a stroll under large oaks and cedars. Smell the pines, enjoy nature, get away from it all, and when you are tired, hop on the complimentary trail cart.

There were four adult ladies that stayed during our trip, and we had the best kiddo free weekend ever! We shopped in Canton during trade days, which is super close by, and then enjoyed our evenings and mornings at the cabin playing games, eating and talking. The owners are fabulous and could not be more gracious. I would highly recommend a stay here!

We had a great time! It is just beautiful! We loved the golf cart and the boat! I would recommend this cabin to anyone. We are making plans to stay again!

If you're looking for relaxation, then look no further. This cabin has everything you'll need and then some. What a great vacation! My family said "Best Vacation We Ever Had". We enjoyed checking out the trails on the golf cart, fishing, and just kicking back and relaxing. Comfy beds, great A/C, great views, exceptionally clean. The cabin is just a few minutes away from Canton, so convenience is just around the corner. Great communication from Debbie, the owner. And our hostess Marsha was super nice. This place is on the top of my list for recommendations to my friends/family. Thanks ladies for a great time!

We just got back from a wonderful weekend at this cabin-it is a little piece of Heaven. So peaceful, so close to Canton First Monday Trade Days-we want to go back soon :)

We enjoyed this cabin in October 2008 for 1st Monday Canton - it was the most relaxing, clean, inviting place to have a girl's weekend - it is a beautiful location and the owners go out of their way to make you feel welcome.....
