We spent ten days at this condo and it was absolutely perfect for families. Our oldest guest was 72 and our youngest was 4. This large condo will accomodate eight people easily and I can't stress enough how great and convenient it was to be staying in a main floor ocean front condo. We never had to pack a bag or lunch when heading to the beach as it was just a few steps away from our lanai! From our lanai we spotted humpback whales, a monk seal, and a picture perfect rainbow. Many families stay at the Kahana Outrigger and my kids found new playmates during our stay. The kitchen was well stocked with small appliances and may I say Thank You very much for the endless supply of Rubbermaid kitchen containers - a life saver with little kids and snacks on the go! We toured many areas of Maui and we were thrilled to be staying in Kahana, just 10-15 minutes away from Lahaina and 45-50 minutes from the busy Kahului. Dealing with Randy the owner was easy, comfortable, and very helpful! Choose this condo, you won't be disappointed.

Our family committed to stay at Randy's condo for a week in March, and I paid the nonrefundable deposit. All of the correspondence that I had with Randy (both live and email) was of the highest quality. Soon after making the reservation, I learned that I had mistaken the Spring Break week of our sons. When I contacted Randy to inform him of my mistake and learned that the actual Spring Break week was already booked, I fully expected to forfeit my nonrefundable deposit for the inconvenience and any expense incurred. Randy's response was first class in every respect, and my deposit was returned in full. Thanks Randy!

We enjoyed a beautiful month at this unit. It was exactly what we were looking for and, what's more, it was exactly as advertised, if not better. It isn't always that way with rentals and this is a tribute to Randy and family. It is fully stocked for fun and our grandkids enjoyed the sand toys, boogie boards, etc., etc., while our children (the parents) appreciated the pack-n-plays, high chairs and airbed, etc. These extras, which we'd never enjoyed before, were a real bonus and made the travel situation much easier. Even the kitchen seemed well set for "home cookin'" which we did often. All in all it was like being in our own vacation home and definitely a cut above most rentals. The neighborhood was friendly and we made many friends during our stay. We even found ourselves meeting locals in neighboring developments. Shopping was close, even walking distance to the little general store at the corner for whatever we ran out of. The beach was high quality and seemingly private, though not technically so. It seemed like some of the best kite surfers in the area liked to come to this stretch of beach to launch and we met several of them. Randy's hospitality and responsiveness to us was delightful and we will definitely consider a return trip someday soon (hopefully). We found ourselves referring people to this site wherever we met them. Thanks to Randy and Patti for the use of their home. It sure did seem like we were visiting a home.

The condo's floor plan was perfect and all the small child equipment made it much easier with our grandsons. I would highly recommend your place to all ages, we had 3 generations, as it's roomy and everything outside is within a few steps. The best part was just being able to hang out at the condo with everyone happy to play at the beach or around the pool. My favorite part was walking the beach early in the morning with coffee in hand watching the turtles. Your location was great for us as we love to snorkel at Black Rock and go into Lahaina in the afternoon. We did try a new Luau at The Sheraton and loved it (very kid friendly). The grandsons loved the sand toys and boogie boards. Our tradition of going to Roy's on our last night was great as it's so close. We all hated to leave and hope to come back again soon. Thank you Randy!!!

I'm not supposed to write a review if we didn't stay in the unit. But, our cancellation experience was so good I felt compelled to write anyway. We had to cancel for economic reasons several months ahead, so I was dreading making the call. The owners were not only understanding, but actually made the whole experience very comfortable. My deposit was returned within days of cancelling, and they told me we were welcome to try again in the future.

Often the experience of staying at a hotel/condo does not live up to what you see in the pictures, but this one did. The unit was set up well for someone with limited mobility (cane/walker) and allowed them to enjoy great views and feel at the beach without leaving the unit. It was also a great place for the eight year old in our group. We appreciated that this unit was part of small complex, had a sandy beach without much foot traffic, and was near several great snorkeling bays. We also appreciated interacting with Randy and his interest in making sure we had an enjoyable stay. We will definitely rent this unit again when we go back to Maui.

We just returned from 14 magical days at this condo. I don't even know where to start. I could say, LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! We looked for a long time to find a place that would work for our family vacation. We couldn't have picked a better place. From the minute we walked in and saw that "killer view" we were hooked! This place is so centrally located and yet you still feel privacy and quiet. You are away from all the big hotels, and yet close enough to just about anything you would want to do on Maui. We had six adults and three children in our group, and the blow-up mattress worked perfect for the older children and the little one slept in a sleeping bag next to his parents. Everyone else was very comfortable With each bedroom having it's own en suite bathroom, and a washer and dryer in the condo, it was very convenient. We had so many plans when we came, but found this place kept drawing us back. We hung out at the beach and did a lot of barbecuing at the pool. The last time we rented a condo it didn't have a pool and after a long day at the beach, the kids loved being able to swim and play!! It kept them very entertained and made the adults happy as well. The lanai was perfect for morning coffee and those (almost daily) gorgeous rainbows!! While sitting on the lanai you are steps away from the ocean and pool. The kids had fun playing on the grassy area and although the beach wasn't huge, it afforded enough area to play in the sand, boogie board, and swim. We did a lot of this. We also just sat out there and read or watched the children play. There was a big chest full of sand toys, boogie boards, noodles, etc; and the kids were happy A tradition that we started early on in the trip was to go "gecko hunting" at night with flashlights.Their parents got them gecko necklaces and told them they were official gecko hunters. They loved it! There are huge windows in the condo and the views are to die for. From the master bedroom you can see forever, even when you are in the bathroom getting ready you can see the ocean's reflection in the mirror. There was a wonderful breeze in the middle bedroom. We only ran our air-conditioning the night we came, and the fan was sufficient the rest of the trip. We found this place to be very comfortable . We had beautiful sunsets!!! Randy was extremely accommodating and great to work with! If you're on the fence about where to stay, and you have children, THIS IS IT!!

As we sit here on our last night in Maui, all we can think is....WE DON'T WANT TO LEAVE! This place is heaven on earth and IS everything Randy says it is and more! Very clean, very comfortable and, has all the goodies you could/would need for your stay! And to top it off Randy is a great guy....calling not once, but twice during our stay to make sure that the condo was everything we were expecting and hoping for! The only reason that we're giving 5 stars is that we can't give more! We highly recommend staying in this condo, you won't be dissapointed! Thank you Randy, David, Shawn & Family PS. We're already working w/ Randy to secure our dates for next year!

One of the first things that struck us as we walked into the condo was the spectacular view through big windows in the living area and from the master bedroom as well. So close to the ocean! There were 6 of us including a 5 year old and 3 month old. The condo was roomy and had everything we needed to enjoy our vacation. We enjoyed having meals on the lanai and used the lawn chairs and beach umbrella on the beach every day. It was so nice not to have to drive to reach the beach. My grandson and I would go for a walk down the beach in the morning when the tide was out before having breakfast. As my grandson said when swimming in the ocean with his grandpa and auntie, "this is awesome!". We would definitely stay here again.

The pictures are a good representation, but doesn't do the place justice. The rooms are very nice and overall very roomy spaces. Very well equipped. They have everything you can think of and more. Randy was wonderful to work with in our planning stages. There are 8 of us and we have plenty of room. I have stayed in another 3 bedroom at another location and compared to this, it was very cramped. This will always be the place we come back to in Maui and I will recommend it too my family and friends.. The pics of the small beach in front looks deceivingly small, large enough to accommodate sunbathing and beach play. The ground floor is wonderful as we can walk to the pool or beach measured in steps. Nice grassy area for kids to play too. They even have an outdoor chest filled with beach toys and equipment....chairs, umbrella, etc. We still have another week, but I'm already thinking about the next time we come.

It is a wonderful property, clean and wellmaintained with view on the ocean where whales were passing by. The beach was lovely and we very much enjoyed our stay. The owner created special informations for us, which were very helpful. We would really recommend this property to all our friends. If we return to Maui, and this we hope, we would very much like to stay in this property again. We felt happy and enjoyed our vacation, its a great home.

My family and I stayed here recently and I would highly recommend it to anyone. We had never been to Maui before so I was a little overwhelmed trying to figure out where to stay. I couldn't have been happier with my decision. The property was accurately described and portrayed on the website, it was clean, comfortable, and in perfect proximity to the ocean. Most comforting, perhaps, was the owner's responsiveness and willingness to answer questions. He got back to me every time within 24 hours (usually less). My husband and I stayed at the condo with my parents and our four year old daughter and our one year old son. It was roomy enough to fit everyone comfortably. We shopped for food at the nearby Safeway (in Lahaina) and cooked most of our meals right there in the condo. We ate almost every meal on the lanai, watching the ocean for the flip of a whale tail or the bobbing of a sea turtle, and we were not disappointed. My daughter loved jumping in the waves and swimming in the pool, and my son thought the beach was the biggest, greatest sandbox ever. Another plus about this condo is the sand toys, beach chairs, extra towels, high chair, pack n play and umbrella stroller. Everything was in great condition. There is also an xbox and several board games, books and guide books, plus a binder full of very helpful information about where to go and what to do while on Maui. Finally, if you do stay here, consider driving just a few minutes up the road to Napili and having breakfast at The Gazebo restaurant. Delicious food and wonderful setting, but get there early. We arrived at 7:35 (they open at 7:30) and still waited 45 minutes. All I can say is it was worth it! We also went to the farmer's market in Honokowai (very close) one morning for fresh flowers and produce, and we spent a lot of time in Lanai just strolling around, shopping and eating. Overall, we are completely happy with our choice of accommodations. The condo, with all its amenities and resources, was the perfect place for us and I'm sure you will be happy here.

What a wonderful family vacation we had in the condo! My husband and I went to Maui with our three grown sons and two fiancés. There was plenty of room, and we had a blast. The condo was super clean, and well equipped. It was great to be so close to the ocean and the pool. We appreciated Randy’s Maui Guide which took us to several beaches for boogie boarding, snorkelling, etc. Our kids kept us busy, but we managed to spend lots of time on the lanai watching for whales and enjoying the sunsets! Randy was quick to replace the aerobed that wasn't working. Within 2 hours of my email to him, the new bed was delivered! We can’t wait to go back with our family! Thanks Randy & Patti!

Being from Calgary I had the opportunity to meet Randy a couple of times for coffee before coming out for our two week 35th Anniversary vacation. We never rented a condo before and after meeting with him I suspected our choice was a good one. It was, and more. We needed a place for 6 adults and two busy granddaughters aged 4 and 2 plus we had day visitors from Alberta during our stay and what a treat for a host to have the room, the pool, the BBQ's, beach and the fantastic view of ocean, islands and whales. After a few days there I knew that if I was to pick a place and a location I'd be back at the Kahana Outrigger. In fact my brother and family are staying there this coming Dec-Jan. after doing his search of the islands available condos. I had a bit of influence on that decision along with my sisters reviews of the place as her family stopped by a few times as they were on the island at the same time. It's close to whatever is your Maui thing to do is. Randy has furnished the place very comfortable with all the convenience of home. Phone, Internet, TVs, 3 washrooms!, games, just like they are mentioned in the condo features plus more. It is bigger than the pictures indicate and the grounds are very well kept and peaceful as most of the neighbors are family groups. I'd sure like to go back for our 40th but might not want to wait that long! The only thing needed is a recyle bin on site as I took our cans and bottles over to the next complex and used theirs.

This was my second time at this beautiful condo and another great experience. Last January, I spent 10 days here with a group of 5 friends. There was lots of room for all. Bedrooms are comfortable. The kitchen is very well equiped. It was a very R&R vacation. We stayed pretty close to home. Mornings were spent sitting on the deck drinking coffee and watching the whales, and afternoons were spent snorkelling or sitting on the beach reading. There is a great Sports Club just down the beach that offers a great drop in rate and has a variety of yoga, pilates etc classes. For my second trip, we just spent Xmas and New Years in Maui at this Kahana condo with my sons, my brother and sister in law and her sister. Again, the condo was more than comfortable and we had everything we needed. This holiday was more active and we took advantage of the proximity of attractions to enjoy: the Old Lahaina Luau, great snorkelling sites nearby, day trip to the crater, Kelii's kayaking whale watching and snorkelling trip, dinner at the Maui Brewing Company, etc, etc, I would highly recommend this condo rental. Patti and Randy are great hosts.

We stayed in this condo on our recent trip to Maui over Thanksgiving. We had 4 adults and 4 kids (two were 3 and under) and we had plenty of room! The pictures on the website do not do the size of this condo justice. Very spacious. We could all sit down at the kitchen table together if we wanted, which was wonderful. The baby ammenties were an added bonus as well. This condo also had the most fabulous location! You are literally 10 steps from the beach. We spent many days there lounging in the sun, boogie boarding, and body surfering. We loved that Randy and his wife provided all sorts of fun stuff to utilize while were beaching it. It definitely got used! Loved the hose for spraying our feet off before we went back inside too! The pool was perfect for the kids and was also about 10 steps away. We utilized the BBQ in the pool area as well. This condo was very well stocked with everything you could need and if there was something it didn't have.....there are multiple grocery stores within a 5 minute drive as well as a little convenient store within walking distance. Great location! Also, loved the Xbox...was a big hit with my 7 year old. I think many of the board games and puzzles got used as well. Randy and his wife really have thought of everything! They even called to check on us when we got there, which was much appreciated. :) We would definitley recommend this condo to others and absolutley cannot wait to go back again!!

Although none of us had ever been to Maui my family of 3 along with my parents decided it was time to take the trip we all had dreamed of taking. From the moment we made contact with Randy we knew this was an individual we wanted to continue to deal with. Any time, as crazy as the question could be; he was quick to get back to you with an answer, he was very knowledgeable about the area, and the different types of activities that would work with our age ranges. The Condo was better than we could have ever expected, we had planned on doing a number of things while in Maui but found our days were filled with trips from the beach to the pool to the lanai and back to the beach. Napali beach was my sons (6 years old) favourite beach he would boogie board (board supplied by Randy and family) My favourite moment was the morning the 3 rays were out front just off the beach, what a site, we had mornings with turtles too, they were further out though. All in all a trip that will never be topped, at least not until we make it back!

My family and I (3 couples) stayed in Randy's lovely condo in September 2010. What a great time we had!! The condo is spacious and in a fabulous location. We were able to travel to various spots throughout the entire island using Kahana as our home base. We enjoyed many of the local beaches in Kaanapali (a quick 10 minute drive away), as well as shopping and dining in Lahaina. We met other lovely guests in the complex as we shared the pool and spent many beautiful evenings on the lanai enjoying the sunset! I couldn't imagine staying in a nicer place and will definitely stay here again in the future!!

Our family of 6 (age range from 17-53) had a fabulous time at this Condo. There was plenty of room for 6 adults to find quiet space as well as room to enjoy family time together. The pictures make it appear a bit smaller than it actually is so we were very pleased. The kitchen was very well stocked with pots and pans which was nice because we cooked in alot. The quiet strip of beach and sandy ocean access was a plus as was the grassy area in front of the condo for throwing the football and frisbee. We enjoyed being so close to many of the nice beaches and areas of interest. We really liked exploring the north side of West Maui. We did have rain every afternoon but it just freshened the air and provided a beautiful rainbow every afternoon. It didn't stop us from doing anything. The 3 bathrooms was a big help with 6 adults and everyone had a bed to sleep in (the air bed was really comfortable). The house amenities were numerous and readily used down to the sand toys for our family sand castle. We enjoyed being close enough to the activity of Kaanapali and Lahaina but far enough away to have peace and quiet. Randy was very helpful from the moment we made our reservations and throughout our stay. We will definitely come back in the future. We really enjoyed exploring the area. Honolua Bay first thing in the morning was spectacular, we saw turtles, an octopus, tons of fish and we were the only ones there. Nakalele Blowhole was awesome. The hiking along the ocean is rugged but really fun for an older group. Go at high tide for the best show but be careful not to get knocked off the rocks by the unexpected waves that crash over the top. Black rock was fun for jumping and the snorkeling was good. The boat ride to Molokini Crater and Turtle Town was good and the water was very clear out there, but sooooo many people. Haleakala for sunrise was fantastic as it was during the meteor shower so we had a great show before sunrise. All in all it was a great trip and Randy's book of things to do was very helpful to get us started. We would also recommend the book "Maui Revealed" for those that like to explore as it has great directions and some fun different things to do. We would totally recommend this unit to our friends.

We loved staying here. Where can you find a condo with 3 bed/baths? It was heavenly to come out on to the Lanai every morning with coffee and then walk out on to the beach. One morning my Mom swam with a turtle out there! The kitchen has everything you need for cooking including some decent knives. Everyone in our party loved there rooms. Flat screens in each bedroom and a TV fully load with movies, games, ect. in the living room, we didnt use it much but on one of those rainy days it would keep your family entertained. Nice towels, sheets made our stay perfect! Thanks Randy!

When I was planning my trip and happened upon VRBO I was a little apprehensive. Even though there are photos of the rental you never really know what you are getting. To my surprise the photos didn't tell half of the story. They didn't show how wonderful the place really is. The rooms a spacious and the view is spectacular. There is nothing like getting up in the morning and having coffee on your deck overlooking the ocean and another island. Everything was included. I didn't have to buy anything but food. The rooms were clean and well kept. The grounds were also neat the clean. The owners were wonderful and provided all sorts of information to make my vacation as good as it could be. I will be looking to book again on my next trip to Maui. Thanks to the owners for all of their help and for having a wonderful vacation spot.

It was a perfect location for our family, i.e. six adults and three little boys ages 4, 2 and 1 year. Having all the extras for the children made life a breeze. We consider your unit the best in the complex with easy access from the lanai to the grassy area, the beach and the pool. Your unit is extremely well stocked except extra bedding would have been a bonus when one little boy threw-up in the middle of the night. We are really being picky here Randy but BBQ tools would have kept the male chefs happy! Most days our kids and grandchildren did not want to leave the 'Outrigger' as bathrooms and cold ones were always nearby. Looking forward to a return visit.

The condo was perfect. The rooms were wonderful, kitchen fully equipped (fabulous blender!) and the deck provided wonderful whale and sunset watching. The location was close to stores, restaurants and beaches, but tucked away from the street. We loved the beach - perfect for the children to play and adults to read and sun bathe. The condo location within the Outrigger is perfect. You get the sunsets and are about 10 steps from the pool and the beach. Only a lawn separates you - the kids played on the grass quite a bit as well! I highly recommend this condo and if we are lucky enough to return to Maui, we will try to stay in this condo!

We absolutely loved the condo and Kahana. We have been to Maui many times but this time involved 3 couples. The condo was very roomy and spacious enough for everyone to spread out. Each room having its own bath was especially nice. We were on Maui to play golf and see the whales. Kahana was the perfect home base for everything. We loved the Maui Gold Pineapple Tour where we picked our own pineapples and had them each morning on the lanai. Casanova's Italian Restraunt in upcountry is the best Italian on the island and worth the drive. Don't miss the incredible lava fields past Makena and the ferry trip to Lanai. The sunsets from the condo were spectacular!

Our visit was excellent. We were delighted to see that the pictures and description of the condo was accurate. Our group of 6 had no problems settling in comfort. The condo it situated on a gentle beach a few minutes past Lahaina in a quiet area. We would most definatley recommend it to a young family or people just wanting to relax. The condo was stocked with plenty of toys, boogie boards and snorkels for plenty. We had the most fun at a beach only minutes up the road Flemming's Beach. Thank you to Randy the place was great, we will most definatley return to Maui. It is really a home away from home, only with sun and surf.

Your condo made all the difference to our wonderful Maui holiday. Our family of 6 adults and a baby enjoyed using the condo for nine days in December. The three bedrooms and bathrooms allowed everyone to have their privacy and yet get together for meals and conversation. The condo is well equipped for a family with children as well as adults. The location on the beach is fantastic. We loved listening to the surf as we fell asleep and woke in the morning. The pool and property are very well maintained and the staff very friendly and helpful. It is a quiet neighborhood. The condo is kept in excellent condition and has everything needed to enjoy meals at home. The condo is centrally located to beaches, entertainment, shopping and sports. The only thing not nearby was the Road to Hana which everyone needs to try. Do participate in the Old Lahaina Luau - it was sensational. We also enjoyed the snorkelling trip to Molokini - suitable for all ages. There were lots of beaches for boogie boarding, surfing and just playing in the sand. We would love to come back and stay at this wonderful property again. Thank you to Randy for his professional handling of our stay.

What a lovely condo! Great location, ocean waves just off the lanai. Every morning we were greeted with rainbows across the ocean and every evening we had a show of shooting stars. Condo is very well appointed with updated furniture and contemporary art. Super clean too. Randy called soon after our arrival to check on us. Having the key code vs a physical key for the door was also very convenient. We are looking forward to our next stay there...someday! Would score this condo a 10 out of 10!

My wife and I have toured four of the Hawaiian islands. When we decided to return with our children and grand kids, we knew west Maui would suit us best. The condo we chose accomodated six adults and four children aged one to eleven years, all enjoyed the comfort and amenities of this spacious condo, the high chair, playpen, the boogie boards, and the blender.... Shortly after our arrival Randy called to ensure all was well, a replacement TV remote was delivered the next morning. Very comfortable beds, a bath room for each family, no complaints. From the lanai you walk left a few steps to a privite little beach, or right a few steps to the pool, which we really enjoyed with the kids. What more can we say, we'll be back.

My wife Julie and I have travelled a lot over the years. There are basic things that you expect and want when travelling that are a given. A convenient location (when planning on driving and being a tourist in general), a clean place to sleep and eat. This place is that and a whole lot more. The condo is tastefully decorated, and has everything you could possibly think that you may or may not need. The beds are very comfortable and we slept like babies. A nice added touch is an information binder that saves you the hassle of researching what to do before you arrive. Add that on top of being in close proximity to swimming, snorkelling, surfing, boogie boarding, shopping and restaurants. Bottom line is this place is an excellent place to use whether it be for a group of adults look for serenity, or a family looking to entertain a hyper group of children.

Our expectations were met and exceeded during our stay. The pictures of the premises are accurate and the premises are more than comfortable for a family or a group of friends. The owners have certainly upgraded the furniture, kitchen equipment, and the entertainment systems. The grounds including the pool and BBQ area are beautifully maintained on a daily basis. The information provided by the owner as to sporting activities, hikes, and shopping was very helpful. We visited several of the recommended restaurants and were very pleased with our meals. One restaurant that we especially enjoyed was an Asian fusion restaurant named Star Noodles. It is located in Lahaina, up the hill and across the highway from the Lahaina Safeway shopping center, in an industrial type area. If you are lucky enough to stay at VRBO 190652.....you will enjoy it.

Great place to watch the sunsets. We had a fantastic time for our family (7yr boy, 5yr girl, 2yr boy). Great pool, but the ocean was a great playground being 30 feet from the front porch. Fantastic snorkling from Honolua Bay, Kapalua, Olawalu, Black rock and who could forget Molakini and Trutle town excursions aboard a sailboat (saw turtles, angel fish, needle nose, box and unicorn fish at most of these nearby locatiions). Surfing lessons downtown Lahaina at Goofy Foot were a big higlight with my 5yr old girl getting up and my 7yr old doing a "coffin" move. A family luau at Kaanapali beach was great especially with the fire show. Cliff jumping at black rock made us feel like real hawain divers. Boogy boarding in Slaughter house bay was also exciting. To sum it up my 5 yr old daughter said "I wish we could stay". The place was an excellent spot for a family (felt more like a home than a hotel) and centerally located to many activities. Great layout of the condo for eating on the porch and sleeping arrangements. I just wish we had moretime (9 days stay) to explore more of Maui. Best vacation our family has ever had. We will be back for sure. I would rate this a 10 out of 10.

Thank you for allowing us to spend 10 great days at your condo. Everything was so convenient and quiet. The pool and beach were relaxing and we all got plenty of sun and tans. The bedrooms, kitchen, laundry, lanai, and living room were very comfortable. Sunsets were beautiful. We visited bustling Lahaina, the aquarium, Roy's and Black Angus restaurants (China Bowl across the street was good also), Luau and golf at Kaanapali. We could have spent another 10 days, but back to reality. This was a eventful trip celebrating our 38th anniversary, along with my Sheryl's sister & brother-in-law's 40th. Also, our daughter's fiance proposed to her on the beach in front of the condo. Wedding next June. Thank you again for your phone call to check on us and for your hospitality. We will let you know when we plan our next trip to Maui. Randy/Sheryl-Carl/Sharon-Terris/Jenay

Thanks very much for a great, relaxing, and comfortable week at your condo. You have thought of all the possible things your guests may need during their stay! Everything was clean, neat, and well maintained and the location was perfect. Our kids enjoyed the beach, pool, gardens, and all the books and entertainment you have on hand. The view from the deck is quite a sight! We look forward to our next stay at your condo!

We enjoyed our stay at this fabulous oceanfront condo very much. Randy the owner, was very responsive to all of our needs. The master bedroom is fabulous! The property is generously appointed with all necessary amenities including Wifi and multiple flat screen TVs. To top things off, my 14 year old son bumped into Magic Johnson while jogging and ran with him on two consecutive days.

We enjoyed our vacation in Maui very much. We were out and about most days to explore Maui, but also stayed at the condo to enjoy the beach there as well as the pool. Your condo is very nice and exceeded our expectations. The location was great and we had easy access to many activities. It had everthing we needed including the beach chairs and extra snorkeling equipment. Thanks so much for sharing your Maui condo with our family. We hope to return sometime in the future Dave and Peggy

7/11/09 - 7/18/09 We have stayed in several VRBO units over the past few years and were by far more impressed with this one over any others for several reasons. We picked this unit for the following reasons: The pictures looked like it was very clean, updated, ocean front, and with 3 adult couples we wanted 3 bedrooms/3 bathrooms plus we like the Lahana location. This condo met all of our criteria. Everyone was extremely happy with my choice. We really appreciated all of the amenities. Nice furniture, TV's, IPOD player/speaker, games, kitchen appliances/utincels, linens, pool toys, everything - even the lamps and ceiling fans. These owners have put a lot into this condo to make it enjoyable and comfortable. Also Randy, the owner, has been wonderful to work with and provided more help than I ever expected. He has put together a great "Maui Guide". and his response and follow up are to be commended. Plus the rental agency is wonderful too. We had to call them three times for help with minor issues and they were very helpful and curtious. I would highly recommend this condo. It is everything they claim.

Our story is a different one....but EXTREMELY positive!! My husband and I (& our 2 daughters) have been making plans to visit Hawaii for this coming October 2009 for quite a few months. When we told my parents that we were planning the vacation, they said that they were interested in joining us. So we began looking at condos and homes that would fit us all comfortably and have all of the amenities that we were looking for. We found EXACTLY that with this home, so we moved forward with making a deposit to hold our dates on the calendar. Then, last week, my parents ran into some scheduling issues with being able to make the vacation with us. My first thought was a bit of worry that we were not going to be able to get our deposit back....I mean now that my parents are not going to be there with us, we sure do not need as much space as this home can provide - also, we are not going to be splitting the cost with my parents any longer, so we need to find a different condo/home that will accommodate our new situation. I emailed the owner right away (because our reservation was only 90 days away!) and I explained our predicament....he was ABSOLUTELY and WONDERFULLY understanding!! He EASILY refunded our ENTIRE deposit without another question asked!! He was SO great to work with!! We do still extend our sincerest apologies that we had to cancel, but we couldn't recommend working with any better vacation rental owner!! THANK YOU AGAIN!!!!!!!! :)

Thank you for a wonderful holiday. The condo was perfect. To be 30 steps from the pool in one direction and 30 steps from the beach in other - I couldn't have asked for a better location. The back, blue bedroom felt like a hotel room all to itself with the full bathroom attached. I had some of the best sleeps that I have had in a long time! The deck also proved to be a favorite spot for breakfast and dinner and the new patio set fits well. I would definitely go back and highly recommend it. Thank you Patti and Randy.

First of all, thank you to Randy for being so responsive to inquiries and e-mails. Your prompt responses were a welcome change compared to a prior VRBO owner who we had the misfortune of dealing with last year. Your professionalism definitely shows. As for the condo, I can’t say enough wonderful things. Location, location, location—that it definitely has. Proximity to west Maui attractions and beaches is superb. Within minutes of Lahaini, Kaanapali, Napili & Kapalua. The condo itself is very well taken care of. It is roomy and nicely furnished. The kitchen is well equipped. Though we had no little ones, it looks as though it is child ready as we noticed high chairs, etc. There are beach chairs, boogie boards and beach toys available for use. Even though our daughters are in their 20s they had a great time playing with them and making sand castles. The beach is just steps away from the back door and it was like having your own little beach all to yourself. Though we didn’t use the pool it is also very close by and well maintained. It was wonderful sitting on the lanai enjoying the sunsets, being so close to the ocean that you could hear the sound of waves crashing on the beach.Prior to our arrival, Randy also e-mailed us a guide to Maui that he prepared complete with his family’s favorite activities, beaches and restaurants which was extremely useful. Upon our arrival, he called to make sure that we arrived safely—a very nice touch. All in all we had a wonderful stay in this condo, have special memories to take home with us and would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a relaxing, stress-free stay in Maui.

WOW! What can I say? It was perfect! The location, the condo, the view, everything. This was my first trip to Maui and it was better than I could have ever imagined. Every morning I got up early (didn't want to, just did) and sat on the deck watching for the whales. You can't get any closer to the ocean or a pool anywhere else. We were able to do so many things while we were in Maui because we were right in the middle of it all. MAHALO NUI LOA Randy!

This was our first trip to Maui and it will be hard to top. We went with 2 other couples and we all had a fantastic time. The condo was amazing being spacious, comfortable and very well taken care of. It had everything we could possibly want with all of the appliances including the washer and dryer. The rooms were awesome with each one having its own bathroom. Plenty of room to visit and for privacy. The view from the lanai was unbelievable with whales jumping everyday and sunsets that looked like they should be on a postcard. The grounds as well as the condo are very well kept. Randy the owner was very helpful and was ready with anything we needed. We felt very well taken care of. Everything you will need is very close by... great restaurants, beaches, a great coffee place in the plaza right around the corner. One of my favorite nights was at the old Lahaina Luau. It was everything I thought Hawaii would be. I could go on forever about everything but you will just have to come and see for yourself. Thanks again Randy for everything and have already reccommended your condo to others.

Fantastic condo made for an unforgettable Maui vacation. Our group of 3 couples spent 10 wonderful days here, from April 18th to the 28th. I have to say that, even having read the glowing reviews on this site prior to leaving, the condo surpassed my expectations. It is immaculate and had absolutely everything we needed. The large bedrooms (each with an attached bathroom) and open concept living area allowed for both privacy and gathering together. The view from the lanai is stunning - we saw breath-taking sunsets and were thrilled to see many whales breaching and passing by. The pool area is beautiful and clean, and we enjoyed swimming, suntanning, and barbequing there. The ocean really is just steps from the lanai and we took advantage to snorkel, swim and sunbathe. The grounds are beautiful and meticulously maintained. The condo's West Maui location is ideal. There's a feeling of secluded privacy that you don't get at a large resort, yet you are a short drive away from beautiful beaches to the north (Napili Bay, Kapalua area) and south (Ka'anapali - where we made great use of the four boogie boards provided in the condo!). We also enjoyed numerous trips into nearby Lahaina, where we dined, shopped and toured around this historic town. The Old Lahaina Luau was an unforgettable experience, as was the Pacific Whale Foundation dinner cruise we took from the Lahaina harbour - we watched as dolphins raced and played in front of the boat. Simply put, nothing is far away from the condo. We visited the beaches at Wailea, took the Road to Hana, and went on a snorkling trip to Molikini and Turtle Point (highly recommended!). We even took a short and inexpensive flight form Kahului to Honolulu, where we toured Pearl Harbour and spent the afternoon on the beach at Wakiki. Although we loaded up food supplies at Costco on the way from the airport (ha ha, yes, this was sadly our first stop after landing in Maui) we subsequently found that grocery stores were actually a very short drive from the condo, perfect for re-supply and last minute needs. And there is a plaza with shopping/restaurants just a short walk from the condo. All in all, the condo provided for an amazing vacation experience and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone. Randy, the condo owner, was always available to answer any questions we had, before and during the trip, and offered helpful advice on things to do in Maui. Can't wait to return!

What can I say to give this place its just acclaim. My family and I stayed there at the condo for 9 days and a great time was had by all. The condo had everything and more to make our stay a pleasent stay and the location! When Pat and I first arrived at the condo after putting away the gorceries we sat down on the lanai to rest before the kids and grand kids arrived, Pat shouted at me she could see whales, I thought she was pulling my leg until I saw that little girl look in her eyes, that right there paid for the whole trip but that was just the start, the whole week was like that we enjoyed the lanai, the pool, the private beach, the toys for the kids, we just felt at home there. All the care takers were great and Randy was true to his word about everything and like I said there was more to the condo than what is listed. We are telling all our friends and family about this place and would like to rent it again for our next trip to Maui. The condo is very quiet but close enough to the shopping or just some other beaches, and may I recommed that you go to the Maui Theater in Lahaina. The view from and setting of the condo is perfect, you wake up to the sound of the ocean, see rainbows and whales while drinking you morning coffee. Oh and when your grown kids come and say Dad you did good you know the place is something special. I will answer any questions about Randy or this home, again thank you Randy for its use. Mahalo Skip

We could not have asked for a better location, a better condo or a more responsive owner in Maui. The condo is in Kahana, north of Kaanapali. The beach is 20 steps from the patio, you can walk to any number of services [including a fitness center that my family used for the week] and the condo itself seemed miles away from everyone else, even with other tenants above and next to us. The pool is clean and well-kept, the grounds immaculate. Just north of the condo are Napili and Kapalua Bays [great beaches] and just south Kaanapali begins. Very well located. The interior of the condo is very spacious. Each bedroom is large with an attached bath for each. The open floorplan of the kitchen, dining and living areas were perfect for our family. We had four adults and a toddler with plenty of room to spare, never even using the third bedroom [which was quite nice as well]. The appliances look like they just arrived and the kitchen was well stocked. A grocery trip and you're ready to go! Randy [the owner] was responsive and gracious throughout the process. Arrangements and payment were smooth and professional. During our stay, I emailed a couple of notes to Randy about some imperfections that I thought he should know about and they were fixed within 48 hours. Amazing! Also, each morning around sunrise I could see rays and turtles feeding just off the beach, and we saw whales almost everyday. It made for the full Maui vacation. Suffice to say, that this is the perfect base for your Maui experience and we will be planning a return!

We loved our stay in Maui. The condo is in a great location, with a magnificent view of the ocean and neighboring Molokai. We loved watching the whales, which we could see from the condo's Lanai. We also really liked the private beach. The condo is in a good location, not too far from Lahaina and a couple of really nice golf courses. Randy (the owner) has really done a great job in providing everything needed to make it a great experience, and has recently made upgrades to the condo. He is also very responsive, so we always had our questions answered very quickly. This is a great place to stay if you need a 3BR/3BA condo. Highly recommended!

We live in Hawaii, but needed a Hawaiian vacation after my husband got back from overseas. Your property was perfect for our whole family. The beds were comfortable and the decor created a relaxing place to just sit and relax. At the same time, our 4 kids loved playing soccer on the grass, watched a family of spotted eagle rays swim right there up to the shore, and went swimming with the turtles and snorkeling up the road at Napili. Our last day we had a view of the most beautiful and expansive rainbow over Molokai. Our vacation was magical. Thank you. We definitely will recommend your condo to our friends and family wanting to go to Maui.
