The Backcountry Hideaway is located about 6 miles south of Franklin, NC. It is a gorgeous cabin with cedar siding and a metal roof. The cabin is easily accessible, with paved roads all the way to the back door. As for the interior, a fully equipped kitchen with new oak cabinets, a dining room with a cypress table, a beautiful living room with cypress tongue and groove on the walls and hardwood floors, two full bathrooms and newly redecorated, comfortable bedrooms with King and queen sized beds.
We also have a screened-in porch, so that you can gaze into the mountains and watch the wildlife all around. All of these things, make you feel right at home in the fabulous Smoky Mountains of North Carolina!
You can take day trips to Franklin, Gatlinburg, Dollywood, Pigeon Forge, Asheville, Maggie Valley, and The Alpine Village of Helen. There are several scenic driving sights including one just a few miles down the road; Coweeta Hydrological Laboratory.
There is great shopping and shows with great food nearby including the Dixie Stampede.

PEACEFUL COZY CABIN IN THE WOODS

Hi ,we drove 1000 miles to this cabin and were not dissappointed.Economically priced. Home away from home.Clean with anything you could possibly need. A comforter on a cold night .To that extra pillow or even a quilt while you sit in the rocking chair.The kitchen had every utensil you could ever need. Did I say dishwasher. also washer and dryer.2 bathrooms.This cabin is well maintained.Everyone enjoyed their own spot in the cabin my wife liked the swing on the porch. Grandma took to the chair on the porch watching for the humming birds.. My youngest took to the rocking chair. The ages of are party was 73;50;43;21;19;13. About 2 hour ride to Dollywood .90 minutes to Asheville.Floyd was great called you when you arrived just to make sure you were settled in ok.If your looking for some peace and quiet this is the place to go!!! Remember I said reasonably priced!!!!!!!!! Thanks Floyd

very clean and economicly priced easy to find only there from late afternoon to next am but if in area again would not hesitate to stay again great vaule for price
