We loved staying here! We stayed in the unit next door to the unit listed here since this unit was occupied. The owner of this unit, Kathy, was extremely helpful and friendly. Both units are essentially the same. It is great because it is at the opposite end of the pool. The higher the number at the end of the unit number the closer you'll be to above the pool. We had a great view and privacy. I danced around smiling when I first took in the view from the private balcony. It is spectacular. The condo was great. The floors were tile and everything was clean. The bedroom had a king size bed. The kitchen had everything we needed, microwave, coffee maker, etc (though we didn't cook, just made sandwiches) The pullout couch was a good size, but the mattress was very thin. I slept fine on it. The bathroom was smallish but was clean and they even had soap, shampoo, and conditioner dispensers in the shower. Also there was a hairdryer attached to the wall like you find in hotels. There were plenty of towels. (no beach towels though so bring your own) The only down side is that the condo is not that well insulated against noise. It is easy to hear neighbors moving furniture around above you, etc. Also the hotel next door (to the left) seemed to be hosting some college group who were loud and partying quite a bit. But you aren't going to have total peace and quiet unless you can afford a private house away from other people. That being said, the mornings were incredibly peaceful and because the sun sets in the gulf (right in front of you each night, so beautiful) that means the private balcony is in the shade in the morning and early afternoon. It was lovely to take a cup of tea on the balcony each morning and greet the day. Also it was a lot cooler which helped since we were there in July. They do have hammocks, shuffleboard, and a pool. We didn't use any of those. There are also chair, umbrella, and little "tent/cabana" rentals on the beach itself. It was only $10 for 2 hours of cabana rental which comes with two lounge chairs ( or $25 for the day) Totally worth it! The staff was very friendly and helpful the few times we had questions. If you need groceries, go to Publix down the street. Great bakery, deli, etc. Try visiting Sloppy Joe's. They have great food and outdoor seating so you can see the beach. You can get there by car (right out of parking lot, it's 1 or 2 miles on the right) or on foot using the sidewalk along the beach. We'll be back!

Hi Kathy: We just wanted to thank you for all your help. We had the most lovely time. I literally danced around smiling when I first saw the view from the balcony. Everything we needed was there , even things we didnt expect , ( the soap, shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom). The staff was very helpful with questions as well. My wife and I absoutely loved our week at the condo. The onsite staff was very helpful with any information we needed. There is nothing between the condo and the gulf except a beautiful sandy beach. Even though the week we were there it was a little cool we walked the beach every day, it was so relaxing. The condo is very clean and had everything we needed. The photos of the condo were very accurate. We would recommend this condo to anyone. We hope to rent this condo in January 2012 but this time for two weeks.

Recommended for:Girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children.

Great vacation location

We were only here for 4 1/2 days, but had a lovely stay. The entire property is well-maintained and the on-site staff is wonderful - helpful, friendly, etc. The condo is comfortable and well stocked. the view is really great. We enjoyed the pool and the grill area and the hammocks. There is a wide concrete sidewalk that extends for over a mile right next to the sandy beach. It was a great place for walking without being in the sand. We also enjoyed watching the "kiters" doing special tricks with their kites. Sitting on the balcony was so relaxing. The owners were also very helpful. We will definitely recommend this condo to others.
