Located 11 miles north of McGregor, Minnesota, it is less than an hour from either Duluth or Brainerd, and 2-1/2 hours north of the Twin Cities. Groceries, liquor, bait & gas are all available nearby. Gas is available on Big Sandy Lake. Minnesota National Golf course is just minutes away.

Cabin was very nice, just as pics show, was very clean, and well stocked. located in a small bay close to locall landings, caught three of the biggest pike i have ever caught and lost a 40 plus incher, still upset about that. Everything was very well maintained in the cabin, and owners were great answered all of my questions at check in time. Very large deck on the lake side of the cabin and the living room window is an amazing view of the lake, as if you are sitting on the dock. All furniture was like brand new, and very comfy, really made it seem like a up north cabin while still close to the twin cities. Wish it would have had fire pit, and there is no A/C, we lucked out though was not over 80 all week and the house is well shaded, so if you open windows in moring it stays very comfy. Really enjoyed our week. Thanks, The Rislov's
