Our beautiful modern country home is located in a secluded wooded area on 3 acres bordering the Mohonk Preserve. Walk out of the house into the Shwangunks through the back of Minnewaska to streams, or fully conserved country roads and fields into the back of the Mohonk ridge. You can hike to the river or to a pond.
The house is 10 years old with an open floor plan, cathedral ceilings, cedar beams, skylights and floor to ceiling stone fireplace. Hardwood floors throughout the house.
Fully air conditioned, all modern appliances, open kitchen, bright colors, flooded with light, antiques, homey and pleasant. Lovely mountain views from the large deck.
Hike, walk, snowshoe and cross country ski from the front door. Excellent shopping, restaurants, antiques, art galleries, cinema and theater nearby.

My childhood girlfriends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here - a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of our daily lives. The place was better than we expected and very comfortable. Well-stocked kitchen and bathrooms. Clean and well maintained. Very comfortable beds. Lots of woods around the property - house is on a private road and fairly secluded. Owners are very nice and accommodating and have a property manager nearby if needed. One of the owners is an artist and we enjoyed the decor and special touches. Would definitely recommend to others and hope to return again some day. Recommend the farmers market in town - we bought some apples and corn on the cob and it was so fresh and delicious. Hiking in the Mohonk Preserve was great.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, pet owners, age 55+, girls getaway, families with young children.
