My college friends and I had an amazing stay at the Hacienda. Carolyn & Fritz were very helpful and wonderful, thoughtful hosts. I highly recommend taking advantage of Carolyn's nearby Magical Massage treatments, we were all in heaven. We liked being walking distance from several restaurants and a nice market, and loved the outdoor space and hot tub to hang out. We hope to be back!

My friends and I just stayed here for two nights while we were in town for a wedding. The house was perfect! Very clean with more than enough space for the 6 of us. It was so relaxing to just sit outside a read a book while having coffee in the morning. It is also very centrally located and easy to walk to bars, restaurants and the supermarket. Everything was perfect and I hope to stay there again!

Alas, I only was able to stay a short time at the Hacienda, but we had a wonderful experience. I went for a girls' weekend in early spring, there were 6 of us, and we fit comfortably at the Hacienda. The place was cute, clean, and beautifully decorated with fun Hacienda-esque decorations, lots of nice outdoor space to relax in and the hot tub was all set to go. The location was great too, though we had a little difficulty finding the road to turn down - it's a short dirt road, and not well-labeled - but it's easy walking distance to a few small stores (including a market) and nice restaurants. The owners were very flexible in accommodating our check-in time, which we appreciated, and it was just a really comfortable space. Wish we could have stayed longer . . .

The Hacienda is a great choice for fun and relaxing weekend in wine country. It easily accomadated my partner and I and our three friends. Fritz and Caroline, the owners, were flexible and were available to answer questions while at the same time giving us our space to enjoy our night away. The hot tub is huge and fit five no problem. There is a large backyard that with a gazebo and lawn chairs for relaxing in the sun. The full kitchen made it easy for my friends and I to cook an amazing meal together. My only disappointment was that we only got to stay one night! I will definitely keep the Hacienda in mind next time I look to get a weekend away in Sonoma County.

I LOVED this vacation rental! I have stayed in rentals all over the world and the US and this one beckons me back as I loved the homey feel of it. It felt like it was my own home with the gourmet herbs in the cupboards, wine in the fridge, spa robes, and the inviting hot tub under the stars. The original artwork, gardens and Santa Fe style architecture was so relaxing, and it is surrounded by vineyards for the wine connoiseurs. It's a great place to really put your feet up and soak in the solitude. The therapeutic massages by Carolyn, CMT, (the owner) are among the best I've ever had-and I've had hundreds in many countries-don't pass these up! An upscale grocery store, and a few restaurants are in walking distance in the sleepy town of Glen Ellen. Ive recommended it to all my friends and I'd give it a 10 out of 10!

We were disappointed with our experience with the Hacienda house. The house was cluttered and dirty. It felt more like someones unkempt second home rather than a true vacation rental. The furniture was very uncomfortable, one of the three bedrooms is just a renovated garage. The fixtures were funky and outdated, the closets were filled with the owners personal items. Look further before settling on this very underwhelming rental.
